Somehow got on their emailing list and have tried to unsubscribe at least 8 times in the past month. This is absurd. I have even gone as far as to block them in my email program but I STILL get emails - from different email addresses within the company, I am assuming.
Sent me spam soliciting an "honest review*" (yes they put an * after honest review) in exchange for a $10 gift card, so long as my opinion "complies with their guidelines".
I sure hope this qualifies, I await my gift card with bated breath.
Don't spam, ok?
I've never used this site or their software. I am leaving a review based on their tactics. I received an email offering me a $10 gift card if i leave them a review. So beware, all the reviews here may payed for with a 'gift'
They sent me an email, asking for an honest review of a software I use.
The email read:
"Hi there, we want your feedback on FreeConferenceCall.com! When you write an honest review* on Capterra about your experience using FreeConferenceCall.com, we'll send a $10 digital gift card to the first 250 reviewers as a thank you".
I complied and wrote the review. During the process, I was required to select my country (UK) to receive my $10 digital gift card. However, I found out that the UK was not eligible. Then I selected another country, the USA, and encountered the same issue. I opted for Europe next, and still, it yielded the same result. You know what this implies... SCAMMERS!
Hi there, we want your feedback on Sitejabber! As a valued user, your opinion matters. We appreciate your time, and as a thank you we'll send a $10 digital gift card to the first 125 users who write an honest review* on Capterra about their experience using Sitejabber!
Everyone beware, this company is completely bogus and runs on manipulation and deceit of the users, as well as companies and reviewers. First they bombard you with emails how you must write an honest review and they will pay you "$10-15." So you go OK I know that software really well and you take 15 minutes of your life to write an honest review. They publish it, and then they give you the run around for weeks and tell you oooopsss that review didn't qualify for an incentive because you didn't click on the email, but you did and you even saved the email. And that happened to me on 4 reviews! Capterra's business practices are manipulative and deceitful, not only do they lie to the regular folks who write reviews and receive nothing in terms of promised incentive, they also only pick positive reviews so don't believe the published reviews! This is a total sham! Stay away! Save your time and peace of mind!
I often use this service to compare software before making a purchasing decision. I love that is has so much useful info in one place.
Capterra needs to hire a corporate neuropsychologist, since this so called review website is better than thecia and thestasi, together, to record your private information
For a simple review they ask you to upload not only your document id, but also other 2 types of confirmations
I really think that this tech companies have serious neurological problems, since they code too much, and that's not good for the human brain
That's good for robots or androids only
