I've never used this site or their software. I am leaving a review based on their tactics. I received an email offering me a $10 gift card if i leave them a review. So beware, all the reviews here may payed for with a 'gift'

It took me a while to get to writing this review as it was such a frustrating ordeal. On July 14th 22' I received an item that I ordered from Castlemaniagames.com that I had preordered. I had trouble getting the item to work or power up so I started a return as I figured I just received a defective unit. No big deal these things happen.

The problem starts with CastleMania's email support. It will tell you all over in every email they can respond in 1-2 days. It took over 4days to hear back at all and when I tried calling their phone number it just rang off the hook. Any voicemails I left to call me back were ignored.
When I was finally able to start the return process I sent the item back right away. Mailed it to them on the 21st they received it on the 23rd. I then waited for over 2 weeks for my credit card refund. After 3 weeks I was annoyed and frustrated so I began to try and contact them again. I was luckily able to get through on their phone line and demand that my refund be processed. The money was refunded to my account within 5 minutes after hanging up that call. Leaving me wondering if it was so easy why did they go 3 weeks without trying to make right with their customer.
Castlemaniagames.com is a cool little store for modern retro gaming goods. But unfortunately because of this lack of care I won't be shopping there again and I can't recommend them. Many of their products are licensed and can be bought directly from the manufacturer (8-Bit Games) or from other retro gaming store fronts.
Ryan and his team really need to up their game because a month long hassle just to get a simple return does not leave a good impression. At the very least I would suggest that they remove the part of the email that says they will respond in 24-48 hours because it's just not true and it gives people false hope that they will be attended to promptly.

I've made a couple purchases from this site and I'm sure I will make more in the future. The live chat team was very helpful in making sure I got the new customer discount and even gave me a partial shipping refund. Every package came with a discount code card and stickers. When I had a more obscure question I was able to email someone on the team (Jake) and I got a timely and honest response.

Their site layout could be improved slightly (mobile version can be hard to use). And I think product reviews would be a good addition. But as it is, YoYoSam.com is my top choice for yoyo products right now.

Tip for consumers:
Check the descriptions on items and take advantage of their discount codes.

This is a scummy site. They basically order stuff off Amazon after you've made your order. Because of this I my package was sent to the wrong addressee and the customer support rep was very rude and tried to blame me. In my opinion because they sponge off of Amazon, I believe Amazon screwed up and sent it to an old address. Avoid this site.

I did receive a refund. But I am updating because 2DayDeliver reported my review... quote
"2DayDeliver has reported your review as having an invalid Order ID. In order to publish your review, please provide a valid Order ID by responding to this email."
As i said before, a scummy site. How did I get a refund if I didn't have a valid order ID? Just avoid this site because you can see how they act.

Tip for consumers:
Don't Trust This Site. Just order it off Amazon yourself, don't give them any of your money.

Something is off about this site. They basically just buy stuff amazon after you've made your purchase. They sent my order to the wrong address then blamed me. I think because they just sponge off Amazon that Amazon used an old address. Either way the customer support rep was very rude about it. Still waiting to see if i will get a refund. Just avoid this place especially if you want to avoid Amazon.
