I was told i would get my product in 2-5 days. After a month i enquired where my product was and heard nothing until 2 months later when i tried everything to get in contact with the company and they finally told me the product was no longer available and that it would take 3 weeks for them to take it down from their website.

They just want your money. They wont notify you and hope you forget about purchases. Most products on their website are not really available they just say 1-2 weeks to get the product in due to high demand.

Do not trust this website. Refund process of 25 days. But they will take your money in a heartbeat.

After purchasing a camera showing in stock and weeks of phone calls asking for ETA's they couldn't tell me anything about where my purchase is and offered refund. Over a month later and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND. The most stressful company i have ever dealt with and i will be taking this further and further until my refund is processed. Worst mistake of my life dealing with CameraSky.

They are scammers and tell you after they take your money that they have to wait for the back order and after 9 months have still not delivered and have not refunded my money. They have also ignored my emails.

Purchased a D5200 Nikon in 2016 with 18-55mm mini-zoom. Saved 100's on nearest cheapest competitor price for same thing (T*ds in Melbourne) Shipped & received in 2 weeks from date of order. No issues from me.
2 months later I again purchased 1 of the same cameras for my work and again received unit complete in 2 weeks no issues. Maybe more people with positive experiences should contribute a review for these guys or maybe things have gone downhill since 2016 - who knows! Can't speak for the rest of the reviews here but I will use camera sky again no hesitation.

Worst company to deal with. Purchased two lenses, received the first one, a few weeks past with no comment on the other, I had to email them to follow up. Got told it would be another month, first problem, then once they got it back in stock they send an email saying "We received feedback from our warehouse that there is a price up change for your order," so after a month of waiting they try and scam more money from me after I paid the original price in full.

I argued my case and realised they are just a terrible company and do not have any morals, so requested a refund. Then another attempt at defrauding me by trying to refund me less than what I paid, did not want to include the shipping costs as well. After all, of this it took over two weeks for them to finally agree on the correct refund amount. Wasted so much of my time and caused so much stress, not worth trying to save a few dollars using this company. Trust me; do not buy anything from this fraudulent company.

I bought a camera in December, as they didn't know when they were going to have it back in stock I cancelled it after one month waiting for it. Now, I'm still waiting for the refund. It's been 4 months, still waiting and I'm not the only one with this problem.

We purchased a drone from CameraSky about a year ago, and found it immediately to be faulty. We returned the drone and in various phone conversations they said they were testing it and/or fixing it/and/or looking at giving a refund. A year on and we have no refund and no drone. No-one answers the phone when we call, and of course because we had to send payment directly we have no recourse to any other agency to get our money back. Take our advice and DO NOT USE THESE GUYS - most unprofessional, hard to get hold of rip-off agents we have every come across. And despite what their phone numbers might suggest, they are a foreign company - there is no-one local you can look to to fix any problems you might have.

This company processed my payment and then asked for a photo of my drivers licence to confirm my identity which I thought was a bit weird. Then when I hadnt received anything after a month, they told me that they didnt have the item in stock so I could wait or request a refund. I requested a refund and was told it would take 10 working days to process. When it still hadnt been processed after 14 days, I called them and they told me it would be prioritised and completed in 24 hours. After 2 days when I still hadnt received my refund I asked again and they said my case would be sent straight to the finance department for immediate attention. After another day I contacted my bank to complete a charge back under disputed claims. One month later, on the day when the bank began their legal action against CameraSky, the company finally returned my money. It was without doubt the worst experience Ive had with a company and whilst I got my money back, I wasted countless hours doing so. Do not shop with them!

Bought a Sony action camera from them. Waited 15 days and it still wasn't shipped (even though they promised shipped in 10 days or less). So I asked for a refund. So far it's 12 days later and still not refunded.

The prices look good so they can take your money and run...

ONLINE PARASITES, Camerasky AU Team took more than $800 from me for a nice lens that was offered for a very low price. When it became clear that they did not have the lens I cancelled the order more than once by email to Camerasky Sales... no reply. Phoned and had to wait on hold for 40 minutes to speak to some evasive jerk that is hired to field calls for various clients who do not want to talk directly to their customers.

After a couple of weeks I got an email notice saying "Your order has been upgraded to Cancelled pending refund". After 10 days or so with no refund in sight I started sending emails asking for my refund. Finally got a email highlighting that it was an "AUTO REPLY". It was not an auto reply. It was a normal "Reply" email to a couple of my previous emails wherein I asked for cancellation of my order and request for refund. It said:

"Thank you for your inquiry.
We have noticed that your ticket has been inactive for 14 days. Please be advised that since we have not received any response, it will be closed automatically.
Thank you very much and have a nice day!"

I have never had any "ticket" from Camerasky AU Team and their email said nothing about my "inquiry" that they were replying to. But it did confirm a lot about Camerasky. They will tell you blatant lies and even taunt you with the fact that they have your honestly earned money (they did say "thank you very much"). Do not let these creeps put their slime on you too.

And don't believe their oh-so-concerned-for-you replies here. What is the point of sending them your order number (for the tenth time) if they do not reply? They just keep your money for as long as they can, and forever if they can wear you down.

They make money with your money. That is what banks do, only banks are regulated in Australia and they pay you interest on your money. Depositors to banks do so voluntarily. Camerasky takes your money by deceit. They make money with your money, no doubt in lucrative inscrutable offshore accounts, and give you nothing in return. It is a scam, unregulated, pirate bankers posing as honest retailers. Their advertised stock comes from Hong Kong and they are not even registered for GST in Australia.

I know you are reading this Camerasky Team. Don't bother posting one of your creepy disingenuous replies. This is my Order Number: it is #*******328. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. Then do post a reply.

By the way, the lens that I ordered and that they could not supply after more that 2 weeks is still advertised on the Camerasky website as being available for sale and dispatch within 3 days...

I chose 1 star only because the choice dosen't go lower. I purchased a lens fully paid for on Dec 6 2017 for over $2000 - Camerasky site said it was in stock. I thought i would have it for christmas. Christmas came and past... no lens. Multiple calls to them had me wait at times up to 4 hours to reach number one in the queue from number 4 only to be disconnected as the operator picks up... not even a hello. Tried again... same thing. Tried next few days and finally got through with persistence. Its January and im told that the lens would be sent in two days. I wait. I wait... no lens. I ring, get disconnected. I ring again, and im told so sorry they will get back to me with email and ETA. No Email. I ring... oh. Disconnect. I ring, wait 5 hours and get through... told "Im sorry" will look into it. I get an email 6 weeks after purchase and multiple chats with them... sorry dont have it in stock and not sure when they will. Im told i can can wait (for an indefinite time) or ask for a refund. Oh by the way we are setting up our improved system at the moment and it will take 28 days to refund the money... Well F me! I am lost for words. Never again Camerashy i have learnt now from your second disaster with me... i will never buy from you again... A WARNING TO ALL BUYERS... CAMERASCAM... CAMERASKY IS NOT THE PLACE TO SHOP! BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased an expensive camera from this site under the false impression that they were an Australian company. This is what they claim anyhow. I returned it immediately as it was faulty. They arranged toll, it was lost. It was found a month and a half later after I contacted consumer affairs. It has been five months since the purchase and i have not been given a refund or replacement. They don't answer calls, or emails. Absolutely devastated. Now attempting a chargeback and legal action. So disappointing. Really want to give this company the bad name they deserve.

I ordered a camera from CameraSky.com.au in July 2017 but it never arrived. They agreed to refund the money but never did. During 10 weeks following the purchase I received about 40 emails from an individual calling himself Jacq-HA who was always blaming their Finance Team but the money were never refunded. The closest I got to the refund was some kind of internal receipt saying that the money were 'released' for refunding but it did not contain any details of actual financial transaction. As far as I can tell CameraSky is a scam and my money has been stolen.

As far as I can say CameraSky is in fact Camera Scum and deserves zero stars in this review.

They make claims on their site that are not true. Payments take forever to clear (if they ever do), contacting them if virtually impossible. All you get are scripted apologies and false hope timelines (our finance team will get back to us in 48hrs... I was hoping it would be 48 earth hours... guess not).

If you want to throw money away and never see it again, these guys are the site to go to. If you want a camera etc... go elsewhere.

They are top 5 on the Department of Fair Trading complaints list.
