I've sold previous phones back to manufactures and other top buy backs sites and Buyback Boss has been the best so far. Great customer service. Constant updates the entire process. Highest amount I've ever gotten on a phone. Would highly recommend them and will use them again.
Good if you are desperate for cash quickly, but like others have said they are unreasonable about how they classify the condition of your phone. Mine was brand new I had used it for a couple of weeks, it had never even left my apartment and had no marks still had the box and everything and they knocked down my original offer.
They also don't have a direct deposit option so you have to use paypal and get a hefty fee or wait several weeks for a snail mail check.
If I had a couple more weeks it would be worth it to just sell it myself on craigslist or OfferUp. Probably won't use again if I'm in a hurry. They did have a quick turnaround of less than a week from mailing to payout.
I have been very impressed with buyback boss and would highly recommend. The communication through your the process is incredible. Every person I have ever spoken, emailed or chatted with has gone above and beyond to deliver great service!
I had a nearly new phone that was an elderly family member's, and she suddenly passed away. I needed help learning how to contact the carrier to unlock it. Customer service helped me and the same representative kept checking in with me to update me and let me know the progress they were making in processing my phone. In the end, I was paid more than the amount I was initially quoted. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

When I qualified my iPhone I describe it like good condition. I hit a box yo send it there do I didn't have to pay anything and after they received and check the phone they told me my phone was in mint condition and I received even more than anticipated! Very happy. Besides there was always someone checking about the process.

This "business" is a total scam and fraud. They will provide you with nice estimated value and upon receiving your phone they will find some non-existent issues. Then you will receive email offering to pay you $0. I guess they think is funny. Stay away from this fraudsters.
Buybackboss can't be trusted. I sent in my iPhone 8 Plus (flawless) they sent me a picture of a scratched up phone claiming to be mine. Saying they can only offer $59.00. Stupid people, I took pictures and a video of my phone before sending it in and clearly the comparison shows it's not my phone. My screen didn't have any scratches. The picture they sent the phone had dust on it and the screen was jacked up. Don't trust this company
Giving one star but should be zero. Was quoted $638 trade in on my iPhone 12 Pro. When it was received the revised quote was half that as buybackboss claims extensive scratching that was barely visible in the pic they sent me. Definitely a bait and switch as they quote the most and revise the offer once they have your phone and assume you just want to finish the transaction. It's been 5 days since they low balled me and they still have not sent payment.
I have sold phones else where and recommend trying any other service to buy used electronics. They obviously take advantage of people and use sketchy practices to offer the most and pay the least.
They get your device and then offer you $10 when they first offered $111. Very dishonest company. They said after 10days I had a ghost image in my phone which I did not. And then came back to me with a $10 offer... please don't use this service. Walmart offered 50. Should have done went that route

I was offered $139 for my iPhone SE and when they got it they told me it would be 5 to 7 days before they even got to it to check it out because they were behind because they were getting 600 phones a day. The website said I would receive my money within five business days. They offered me $80 because they said there was scratches on my phone which I have pictures of that. There was none when I sent it off. After several days of going back-and-forth they finally came up to $140. It took three more days for them to process my payment. Processing my payment through another company took another two days so all in all it took almost 2 1/2 to 3 weeks for me to get my payment. This place did not do anything they claim online, and it took forever for me to get my money I would never ever use them again.
Sent a phone in like new condition. They got it and said the screen had deep scratches in it. No no no way! Only wanted to give 1/2 of what was offered. IPhone XR. I am so upset right now! I also packed it real well.

It's a bait and switch scam. They tell you one price upfront and then you send your phone in and they say the battery is less than 80%. They will offer your phone back, but who knows what they have done to it. I have sold phones to similar companies without an issue. Stay far away from this group.

Chose this company because their offer was slightly higher than the competition. Sent in a phone that was in near perfect condition. After the phone arrived they sent me photos of a phone with heavy deep scratches in the glass. Not my phone! They dropped my offer by $30 and said I could take the new offer or they could ship back my phone with these scratches... Total scam. It seems this company is outbidding competitors and then undercutting people when the phone arrives. Do not use this company. I have 3 other phones to switch out and will never use them again.

Solely off of the contents of your review, it sounds like your order was placed under our "Mint" or "Good" condition. The "Mint" condition requires the device to be flawless with absolutely no wear on the device. The "Good" condition requires the device to have light use with no heavy or deep wear.
Again, based off of this review, it sounds like we tested the device as falling under our "Fair" condition, which is for devices that are fully functional but show heavy or deep wear on the device. I sent in my iPhone 12 Pro weeks ago. The staff immediately got in touch with and responded to my emails multiple times throughout the day so it thought it was a legitimate business. The second the said they sent my payment, Radio silence. I was told my check would be 3-5 days and It's been 3 weeks and I'm out $600 that I was promised and I can't even get my phone back. I have sent multiple emails and called and received no responses back.

Felt the company "low-balled" me at time of settlement. However they did provide the purchase funds quickly once I accepted their offer. I would advise future selling clients to fully document their phone's condition and the advertised purchase price prior to shipping their phone off.
Tried 3 different sites and pretty much same experience on all. Price quoted online, sent in phone after evaluation price dropped and choice offered to accept or return of phone. Took a few emails to confirm acceptance of offer. Only site I accepted and only accepted because phone was pretty much just parts phone. After all the hoops and time involved probably just be throwing any others away.

I'm sorry to read this feedback! It appears the device sent in was placed under our "Damaged" condition category, however the device we received had an LCD defect and a cracked back glass. Because of this LCD defect, it fell under our "Broken" condition which caused a $2 deduction to the overall price we could offer. It sounds like this may have been the reason for the similar experiences with other sites.

Phones were in great shape but apparently they had "scratches" which both phones had always had protective glass screens and protective cases on at all times. They price was cut in half because of it and i didn't want to deal with the hassle of them returning it which I am sure is exactly why they pull that crap with ppl.

It appears you placed an order for two devices in "Good" condition, however upon testing the order we found deep scratching on both devices which caused them to move into the "Fair" condition. Deep scratching is categorized as scratches you can feel when running your fingernail across them in our testing process. We also remove all screen protectors and accessories when testing each device for accurate grading. I sent my tab they offered me 130$ for. They said it was locked even though I had reset it and a bunch of back and forth so I ended up having to send my password and just for them to say it was in good condition and offer me $0 lol then asked if I wanted to have it back or donate it. I said I wanted it back and it's been over a month and I got nothing. They had made the offer knowing what tablet it was and said it was in good condition. Right after that someone managed to hack my accounts which has never happened to me before. Wonder who did that. This company is a scam. Literally. My tablets exact modle number that I looked up when getting the quote was on there. I literally followed their exact instructions.

First off, I can assure you we didn't utilize any passwords or hack into any accounts. The device you sent in had a Samsung account still on the device which locked it and prevented us and any user from testing the device. The credential you sent to remove your Samsung account was used on the physical device you sent in to sell and we only used it to remove the Samsung account only. In no way would we misuse or reopen any credential provided.
Additionally, it appears the device sent in was not the model indicated in your order which is why the offer fell to $0. The device you sent in is not actually a device we purchase so we offered to recycle the item or get it sent back.

The device condition the order was described to be was the “Good” condition, meaning the device was fully functional and could have signs of use with no major cosmetic damage. When your device completed testing by our expert operations team, the device was found to be “Fair” condition. Our “Fair” condition is for fully functional devices that have signs of heavy use such as deep and excessive scratches, dents, or scuffs and screen scratches that are deep enough to be felt. Your device has signs of heavy use in the form of deep and excessive scratches on the front glass. The scratches were also deep enough to be felt during our testing process and were prominent enough throughout the screen to still be visible while the screen was on. We were able to send clear photos of this wear with the screen both off and on to you during the order process.
