This review is for sellers that wish to list there business with businessesforsale.com. I have to warn you not to list your businesses with this website, they are a scam listing site. They clearly state in there terms and conditions if you unhappy with there service you will be refunded, well I was very unhappy with there service, and no refund for me. They keep on delaying responses and making up excuses. I paid more than $100 to list my business with them, very poor traffic to my listing, and all the business inquires are fake and sent by the employees.

I would like to say how disappointed I am with how scams have flourished online.

I know of five people who got scammed on businessesforsale. This sham listing agency is bad for buyers and sellers. If you search for reviews online, you will see the first page of google has many negative reviews for this company.

Whoever reads this review, Businessesforsale is a scam, plain and simple, if you look online and search for reviews, you will find negative feedback from both buyers and sellers. If you a buyer that is unhappy they will not refund you, if you a seller that got caught in a scam. Hard luck, they don't care

First of, let me tell you that I'm not so impressed with Site Jabber, and for a reason: I can't tell from the most reviews if they were written by people who actually bought any package from BusinessesForSale or not. Most other popular sites - like Trust Pilot, Amazon and others - have an option such as a "Verified buyer" or similar, that makes it almost impossible to place fake reviews as someone who hasn't experienced the services or products herself. This is why I attach a proof of purchase to this review of mine. Now you know that I know what I'm talking about, first-hand.

I personally have been dealing with BusinessesForSale (businessesforsale.com) for over four years (on behalf of our company, of course). In the meantime, I personally dealt with three different persons, with the last one (and the one I'm still dealing with) - for three years. (Her name starts with I*.) I've also been dealing - over the years - with 11 other sites like this one, selling businesses. I can tell you from my own experience, without reservations: BusinessesForSale is not only the best (of those I dealt with, of course) - they are lighting years ahead of the two other quite popular sites I had a lot of experience with. Sure, it's a lot about their marketing practices and the way everything works that their success can be attributed to. But, for me, every (!) time I had to discuss (please note: I'm talking about real discussions, not canned customer service answers) our needs and asked for input, their advice was terrific. Every time. Now, I'd also like to highlight all my recent (and not so recent) experience with the person I'm still in touch with: every time dealing with her is a pleasure and delight. Like with doctor, I explain our issues and goals - and get the right advice every time. Let me tell you: this worked. This works. At least, for us.

While I'm usually not so keen about commenting on other comments, I think that, this time, I must provide some input. I read that some reviewers were not quite happy with the fact that, after a trial period, the site wants to get paid to release details of those who contacted the prospective seller. I'm not quite sure, why is it being considered a "scam" or even "the worst scam ever". Consider other sites: you pay and then get nothing in return. Good luck trying to recuperate your investment! Here, however, you risk nothing: you pay only f you see that your ad generates incoming inquiries. Also, I've personally experienced not so seldom when prospective buyers badmouthed us just because we didn't want to bind for any unreasonable demand. Things like that happen and our world isn't perfect...

All in one, I'd say: if you want to spend some real money for real results - this is the site for you. No doubts. You'll thank yourself later for having done it (and receive, probably, a super-hug from the shareholders once the business gets sold).
