Purchased vent fan, toilet, sink and faucet, shower faucet, and shower doors from build.com. The products recommended by the consultant were amazing. The shower faucet shower head and shower doors were Miseno brand and were top notch quality the installers were impressed at the quality of these products. Delivery on all products was quick and free. Most important of all was the sales consultant Sophi Paul she made sure I received the best prices and the best products. You will definitely use build.com for future projects.

I am a custom bathroom contractor and all my buddies told me to stay away from Build.com because back-ordered items never ship on time. But I had to try, what an idiot. Shipping day arrives and I get a notice it will be another month, but they are "very concerned and want to let me know". I have a feeling that somewhere in that large system of theirs they knew a while ago that they weren't going to ship on-time but did nothing. Knowing a week ago would have made all the difference. No customer service, not responsible, and as a result, I am not able to do business with them.

I have purchased just about every type of home improvement item that was needed for our home remodeling projects on Build.com. We have rebuilt every room in this house. I have purchased: can lights, trim rings, pendant lights, bathroom lav and shower faucets ( 3 separate bathrooms), handle pulls, Reva-shelf lift, even the kitchen sink and faucet! Every order was correct, on time and very well priced. If I had a problem it was fixed immediately. I come back everytime I need something new for our projects.
I'd spent time looking at a number of websites, as well as checking in with local stores but I was able to get just what I wanted in a sink at a cheaper price from Build.com. It arrived in excellent condition and within a normal amount of time (exactly 2 weeks) as it came from the mid-west and was delivered to California... during winter.

Answer: I don't know how you can actually get them to answer the correct lead time. I received an estimated ship date when I ordered an American Standard faucet. Then, they emailed me 3 more times with delays. I called them after the first delay, and while I was on the phone with the agent, she placed me on hold and called American Standard, and said they told her that there would be no more delays. After this last delay, I called to cancel the order. They said they would "request cancellation" from American Standard. The big problem is they charged my account IMMEDIATELY when I ordered the product, but won't refund the money until American Standard confirms the cancellation. The service agent i spoke with escalated to her supervisor, and the supervisor is the worst person I have ever encountered when dealing with customer service.
Answer: Sorry to hear that. What finish were you trying to match? Usually its best ti use the same brand name when trying to match a finish, such as a Moen faucet to match a Moen towel bar or towel ring. That is because everybody has their own technique of making their products. I wonder if the finish on your new American Standard faucet is doesn't match because the other item you're matching in not made by American Standard. You should be able to return it if it hasn't been installed in any way and you still have the original packaging. Answer: Don't order from them. The quality is horrible and they sent me a damaged piece and I'm responsible for bringing it to the dump.

While we do have an occasional defect get sent out, we are always quick to send a new one out to the customer.
