We ordered about $5,000 to $6,000 worth of plantation shutters for our home. We decided to add one more shutter a few days after the order was placed. We had to re-order and re-measure this shutter 4 times over the course of almost one year before they finally installed it yesterday. I asked the owner Tony for some consideration/discount due to their constant delays and taking so long to install it. I just wanted something off this one shutter ($142) but he SCREAMED at me and threatened to come over and rip it out! I have NEVER had such horrible customer service. Stay away from Budget Blinds of Naples and Marco Island, FL.
Avoid budget Blinds at all cost. They promised a custom blind, couldn't find a manufacturer to make it and finally called me 6 weeks later to tell me that they were trying to find another manufacturer and again no communication for over a month. When I finally got tired of waiting and tried to stop order was told I would have to pay for the blinds anyway as the customer only has 72 hours after placing order to cancel despite their inability to produce product they promised in a timely reasonable time frame. Don't listen to the sales person; read the FINE PRINT. Their word means nothing.
Getting old is for the birds! I couldn't put drapes and curtains anymore. I called Tom Hughes at Budget Blinds. Even though this COVID mess is going on, Tom came to our home, and measured for blinds. I got black out blinds in the bedrooms and landing, and room darkening on the main floor. THEY ARE PERFECT! I wish I had gotten them sooner. Easy to move up and down, and they have kept my home cooler too. Thank you Tom and son. I love my Budget Blinds.

I cleaned my vertical blinds for the first time and the ends of the valance fell on the floor. I called budget blinds and they snapped them back on for me but they are crokked and cheap looking, especially the plastic snap on corners. The vertical slats are fine but the valance looks trashy at the ends. I cleaned the valance today and the ends fell off onto the floor. I put them back on and it looks sooo trashy. An improvement needs to be made to the quality of the valaqqnce.
I was excited for my appointment today at 9am, but then a text came in going to be 15 minutes late then Bill and Erika finally made to my house I open the door to greet them of course it's COVID I don't know these sales people so I asked them where your mask and why don't you have it on? Bill reply was were done here so unprofessional and they left...
Thurs. 7-29-21 was the in home consultation date. I chose blinds for the windows in 3 different rooms, and was told I would get the quote either Fri or for sure on Monday. By Wed 8-4 I had heard nothing. I called the number on her business card (shown above) and it was answered by someone at the retail location. The woman I spoke to didn't even recognize the name when I asked the Sheetal. I gave her a message that I was waiting on the quote. I heard nothing. Yesterday I remembered that when I initially called Budget Blinds (the week before the consultation) to set up a visit, I left a message and was contacted by Doreen at *******458. I called her and gave her a rundown on what I have experienced and that I haven't been able to get hold of Sheetal. Doreen stated that she would for sure get the message to Sheetal to call me and said something about them having routing issues with their phones. I have no idea how that impacts calling me with a quote, but. Whatever. I asked Doreen point blank, "when can I expect a call back"? She promised it would be this morning (8-6), Well guess what? By 1:20 PM this afternoon I called her back. I reminded Doreen that she promised a call back this morning. She said she told Sheetal about it and Sheetal told Doreen NOT to call me, and that she would call me herself. I asked why it was so difficult for me to get a quote, and again she blamed it on the phone problem. I told her that your customer service is atrocious. It will be interesting to see if I EVER get a response.
We have used Blinds.com and most recently Budget Blinds. After hearing an ad for them, I decided to have them come and give us a quote. The whole process was super easy! Two gentlemen came to the house, discussed options, measured and gave us a quote on the spot. It was in line with the amount I would have paid for Blinds.com, but also included installation! We now have beautful new blinds and the only hard work for us was picking out fabrics. Highly recommend!
We've had the top down/bottom up Budget Blinds for 2 years. To get them to go up, we have to bounce them 10 to 20 times. They have been serviced 4 times since. They keep replacing the blinds, but they all perform the same. I would not recommend these products.

Purchased roller shades for my French door back in June of 22. It's now November 10th and they still haven't gotten it right. First attempt one of the 3 shades bottom rail was scratched up and one would go up about 3/4 then stop for a couple seconds and then it continued on it way to the top. They ordered a replacement. After waiting for it to arrive and install it was determined that it was the wrong color. It's still up because they had to order another one. Who knows how long it's going to take. Wanted shades for my living room they came back with an outrageous price. When I asked about it she sent a email stating that because my windows were over 50 inches wide and my kitchen window was only 40 inches. I called and tried to tell her that the windows were the same width. I would think Demery would have come back out and remeasured. No, she wanted me to take pictures with a tape measure and send them to her cell phone. I'm one person with 2 hands so how am I supposed to do that. I canceled the order and told her I would be waiting for the replacement for the french door. 6 months later. For the record this is the Moorestown, Collingswood offices Demery Hana was the rep for the living room windows. Theresa McGoldrick handled the rest of the business. I was going to do my living room and bedrooms. I will but not with Budget Blinds.
Budget Blinds did a great job on my sister in law's condo. They were efficient and easy to work with. The shades we ordered were beautiful and installed by experts. Thanks for a job well done!

We are not satisfied with the Budget Blinds / Ameritex (shutter manufacturer) customer service and quality of the plantation shutters which were installed in end of May 2022. Mike and Michelle didn't show-up to inspect the issue when we call for defect support. We had taken time to inspect every shutter in all the rooms; we could see many of the shutter louvers are not closing tight (there are big gaps in many of them), several are not closing and opening uniformly, and some louvers appear to have unusual very loose movements where they are attached to the hidden control lever. Found bubbles and terrible paint work on louvers. The hidden tilt mechanism and the build of the shutters were very poor design from the day one. We do not have any faith and confidence with the Budget Blinds customer service and Ameritex shutter product quality after our bad experience. We have pointed out several defective louvers on the day of installation to Mike Davis in person. However, Mike

I ordered 5 window shades and 2 shades for my french door. I was and am so distressed about the poor quality and the unscrupulous behavior of the owner.The shades are wrinkled. They hang uneven, when raised halfway. The valences, as my neighbor said, look like wrinkled paper. When * came to look at them, rather than apologize and immediately say he would replace them, he appeared annoyed at my disappointment and eventually said in an angry tone that he would replace them. The company who made the shades were willing to replace them and with a different fabric. * wanted to charge me more than the new fabric I chose because as he stated he had come to my house a few times. First time was the initial complaint when he took photos. The 2nd time, he took more photos & the 3rd time for me to choose another fabric. He entered angry and left angry, without allowing me to choose a fabric because of my questioning him about the unfair pricing. My neighbor who witnessed this attempted to talk to him, as he was leaving. He told her not to buy his shades and closed my front door in her face. He has now served me with a lean on my house for the balance.
