Utter and complete fraud
January 10, 2015

Utter and complete fraud. Just performed a Google search for an online class. Brilliant Download showed it had TWO zip filed for this online course. I, too, paid the $3 and it just kept offering a continuous cycle of Google & other book outlet sources.

How TF do you charge people money for a *** FREE online search?!

Zero stars
December 21, 2014

Zero stars. Everyone has the same story. These #$#@%s need to be shut down. Of course the book I wanted is not available. Paid $3, forgot to cancel. Paid $50 (said 35) for nothing and have requested cancellation from now. See if they will reply to that request.
Fear is that of viruses, others accessing my pc - does anyone have this happening following contact with these fraudsters?
Following up more. Brilliant B^^^^ds appear to have another site called Download Genius - looks exactly the same and ripping off us gullibles in the same way.
Note that the receipt emailed from the company has at least three different monikers - on searching the names it sells everything from a to z. Live and learn. First and last scam for me.

Rip Off!
December 11, 2014

Rip Off! During A Google Search for an older version of an Adobe product which I have a license for, the result says they have this piece of software, you pay giving over all your CC info, and then when you get into their site they simply give you links to CNET and Softpedia! Which of course do not have it! They don't even have a search function because they have NOTHING TO SEARCH THROUGH.

The same thing happned to me today just an hour ago.
- Got the book tiny url from pinterest
- Went to the link and that took me to the two sites
- paid the $3 for 3 days trial
- Got no download - every attempt on the same browser session returns with prompt that I need to login
- every login attempt failed even though I am using the correct password.

# Tried to cancel my credit card - no way to remove your personal information.
# Called CCbill - They Agent confirmed my card don't exist in their DB and they don't work with both sites.

Bottom line - Cancel your card and Depute the payment.

I am an author and this website has my book listed to download as an EBook and an audio book. They have NO Rights to my book and unless they have turned it into an audio book themselves my book isn't even available as an audiobook. I attempted to get to my book on their site but of course they want credit card information which I am unwilling to give.

How can this site be brought down for copyright infringement?

My book is Behind the Old Face: Aging in America and the Coming Elder Boom. Please visit Amazon to purchase the book or get a free preview on my website http://www.elderboom.org

The only solution is to cancel you card immediately: Same thing has happened to me. I was in a google search for a book and brilliant download popped up showing I could download the book with them. As I started to download it - or appeared to be doing so - I was asked to sign up for 3 days membership - which I did - giving all my card details. I then found I could not download the book. I immediately contacted my credit card company who say that the only thing to do is to put a stop on my card and to be sent a new one - now that this company have all my current credit card details they can charge for membership when they like.

The same happened to me. I also paid the membership for a book they said they had. Afterwards they didn't have the book any more! In three days I forgot about it and my credit card was charged with almost 40$ for a prolonged membership that nobody wanted. A membership for what? At least they had some books...

First scam:
October 28, 2014

First scam:
I searched a book with Google. Brilliant Download presented me this book to download, if I payed. I choosed the three days options. When I paid for three days of use, it wasn't possible to download it: the page wasn't available anymore.
Second scam:
I received a mail which told me that my "membership has been successfully extended for 30 days". But I never asked or accepted that. So I wrote a mail to stop it. They answered OK...
And they charged my bank account of 39,9$.
So I warn to flee this "brilliant" site.

More UK Scumbags, I went to download a program and after I paid the program wasn't there to download and could not find it after login. NOW I can't even login, there is no where to get a new password. My Invoice says XINYIBUY365.COM CATEGORY: NURSERIES, LAWN AND GARDEN SUPPLY STORES?

Does this sound like a program download business, I contacted Support and they don't respond. The bastards are probably in Jail for fraud.

Absolute scam they charged me the 3 dollars twice I requested cancellation and they did not can then they charged me the monthly fee twice? Absolutely illegal looking forward to my response from them. You cannot charge a customer your monthly fee twice this is absolutely ridiculous you have now nearly charged me for 100 dollars in 3 and a half days? How does this make sense at all?

Be VERY carefull with these people. If you use the 3 day membership you MUST cancel, else you automatically get charged 1 months membership. You will not get a refund even though they may not have given you any service.

I think the way they work is appalling!

STAY AWAY from this website
September 30, 2014

STAY AWAY from this website. This is a total scam. I paid $3 for the promotional membership hoping to find this book Ive been looking for. After I paid, I realized how they don't have anything. Now I have to worry that they're going to try and charge my credit card monthly for the "membership fee".

I was in need of a book for school and found the site brilliant download had the ebook. They very clearly showed the book cover and title that I needed and it said Download item now! When I clicked on download item, it redirected me to a page that said I had to pay a membership fee of $3.00 for access to the book, which was fine. Only AFTER I gave my credit card info did I learn that they DID NOT have the book at all. I paid for membership to a useless site that actually sent me to a google search when I typed in the book on their site! I requested help from their support and they responded with the same results I got in the google search. This website is falsely claiming they have material they do not have to get desperate suckers like me to give them money. When I asked for it back, they said I paid for membership to their site. I know it's only $3.00 but it's still wrong. Please do not use brilliantdownload.com for anything ever..
