I was very excited to receive my new order but when I saw the condition of a couple of the plants I was very disappointed. The vanilla and strawberry cone hydrangeas were very lean and had droopy leaves. The had a couple broken branches as well. I planted them with hopes that they will survive but with the money I paid I would have hoped for more full and health plants. I hope that my care will help the bushes take hold and I can salvage them.
Brighter Blooms has been great to work with. If plants are in bad shape and die they will replace them if insurred. I have one golden radpberry that was all but dead when i got it and as of yet it has not been replaced. It did die after planting it.

I was surprised by the size of the fig tree. My husbandchad bought earlier a 1 gallon for 29 dollars and I ordered the larger one which was 49 $! And there did not seem to be any difference. The same for the lavender I ordered. The prices seem quite high for the size of the plants. I could find similar in other good nurseries for 15 to 30$ max.

I finally gave in to my passion for having a redbud tree and ordered two - different varieties. We do not see them around us anywhere, but I have never shied away from pushing boundaries. The trees came in beautiful condition, bigger than I expected, and arrived on a Sunday! I can hardly wait to see how they develop. I am expecting great things from them.
My first tree died. Fortunately I purchased the extra guarantee. The only other tree available was a much smaller one. I have my fingers crossed. I will wait and see if it makes it through the winter.

The trees were packed together in one box which causes the lower one to break by the to weight of 6 top one.
