I arrived at 3:30pm. Very poor service. Extremely in unhappy with the Wallington location. We had 3 lanes. Lane 39 never returned any balls. Lane 40 Keyboard didn't work we had to provide our names to the desk and the balls never returned any balls. And lane 41 was okay. I complained constantly. David Vargas the manager had to walk in the back of the lanes to fix the issue. It took 45 minutes to fix everything. He promised extra time but, at 6:30 the game the games was over. I asked why the extension was granted. He said had other events which he should have stated when I asked earlier. Very poor service. I will not recommend this location to anyone. We spent money on food and drinks.
Unexceptional service!
This place would not serve my friends nor I at the bar and when we came to the front desk they acted towards us with disgust and disrespect. They also charged my card for more than I paid for and lied when I checked out. Terrible bowling experience!
Just recently, Bowlero posted a sign in every one of their places that said that all purchases will get an extra 18% added to the bill to pay their employees. I have since stopped eating or drinking at the Bowlero where I am every Tuesday and Thursday night to bowl in leagues. I choose now to stop before I get to the lanes to get a bite to eat. I used to enjoy some of the food that they serve, but I don't think that I should have to pay the employee wages. 18% to have an employee pour me a Coke is out of line. Too bad. I think that once the word gets out, they will hopefully adjust this dumb policy.
This was by far the worst experience I ever had. We booked 2 lanes. 12 people bowling total. We had a family day planned and you wanted 7 people that was not bowling to leave the area that was behind the lanes. Its a Father's Day event. Every lane there had more than 12 people but you bothered us. We walked in with drink, we poured them out or finished them once toldus we can not have them in you establishment. I asked if my family could not watch us bowl then give us a refund and Scott said no. I have a family member who is really afraid of getting covid. He purchased a drink from the bar and pours into his personal cup which was ok by the bartender. The manager Scott says not to serve him again. They dont have plastic cup or anything for Covid precautions. We spent over $1000.00 dollars at this establishment.
We will go to Strike 10 here on out.
Scott Corloski is by far the worst manager to deal with no understanding whats so ever. Scott I had to pretty much beg you for my 89 year old granddad to sit with us while we bowl. Have a heart be human.
If your planning to have a family event more than 6 people per lane do not book bowlero anything over 6 people per lane can not even watch babies, grandparents (which my grand is 89) siblings, or friends. If they are not bowling they cant stand behind the lanes and watch, drink or eat.
Me and 2 of my friends went and we were told it had to be put on a card, but it would be like an open tab and someone else could pay for it with cash. I had to use my card to pay for the food which was 50 dollars. When we went to the desk bc we were done, they charged my friend 89 dollars for the food and bowling. They never gave my back my money and practically stole 50 dollars from me
I celebrated my son's 13 birthday yesterday, and I couldn't ask for a better service! I wish I could remember the waitress and her helper's names, but I do remember Shayne Collins the manager of the day. And all I have to say is Thank you for the great experience at the Bowlero!
Deb :)
Joey and Anthony did an amazing job at providing service for us and making us feel so welcome! They also did a great job at providing service for our balls when needed!
Got a Groupon ($34.00) but they said couldn't use it for 24 hours... womp-womp! I asked for the total for 4 people to play 1 game... instead, the guy asked our names and told me I could get the total at the end... He didn't clarify that they charge $9.69 per person (one game) + $6.99 per person (shoe rental) + 2 separate taxes. I paid $$72.23 for one little 30 minute game of bowling... no food... no drinks... I dislike sneaky non transparent fees... YIKES
When we got there, the line was terrible. And the guy on front desk was telling us that the wait would be 30 minutes even though there were lanes wide open to use. We waited an hour for the message and it never came. When we went back he said it was still 30 minutes. He was rude as well and was cussing a lot.
Bowlero Chesapeake took care of all of our event needs. Anne Tamer was our event host and ensured that our bowlers had everything they needed and fixed any lane/name changes needed. Anne made everything easy for our checkout process.
My boyfriend went for date night and the lady who checked us in was rude and was talking so quietly we couldn't hear her. It took me 15 minutes standing at the bar to get 2 bottled beers and when we left the tab for 2 people ended up being over $60 dollars! Both my boyfriend and I wanted to see the receipt and were baffled at how bad the service was and how expensive it was. We read the horrible reviews from previous customers and gave them the benefit of the doubt but we definitely shouldn't have and you shouldn't either!
I got 3 milkshakes for my friends an i and set them down to go to the arcade. When we came back to finish our milkshakes they were gone. I spent $20…..
Went bowling last night, they no longer charge you per lane they charge you per person and they won't let you pay before hand you pay before you leave and thier prices change they don't stay the same, they don't show all the prices like for the weekends, we spent over 50$ for just two people for 2 games we got the 3rd game free only because we used the tmoble app. They charge people per game and they charge as if your playing by your self Evan tho you have a group with you, so we only played 3 games they charged us for 6 games but since we had the tmoble free game they charged us 4 games in total, what a rip off. NEVER GOING BOWLING HERE EVER AGAIN.
1.5 hours for mozzarella sticks, chicken finger and fries. It's not that hard. We booked one day in advance and still took 45 minutes to get our lane
Upon ordering food, my mom asked to have the chicken sandwich. Her request was met with the waiter's reply: "you don't want that. It's not a good sandwich." She looked for something else on the menu and asked if it was good and he said yes. He then asked "have you ever been to village in," to which my mom said "uh no." Then he said "what kind of old person hasn't been to village inn?!" My mom said "oh I'm old?" And he responded with a shrug. (It is important to include that my mom looks young for being in her early 50's.) After that awkward start, we were missing multiple items from our order (granted it was a party of nine people) and my autism-spectrum cousin was denied a straw by the waiter. The evening was only somewhat recovered by the good company of my family. However, one has to have excellent hearing and a good pair of lungs to converse over the volume of the horrid music. Believe it or not, but not everyone likes it when you can feel the bass through the floor. I will not be returning.
Don't buy the Summer Pass. It may be inexpensive to buy but getting a lane to bowl is almost impossible. The company is all about profits.
The day I went there the place was packed with lots of people for a 40 lane bowling alley. On top of that, as I made my way to the front desk to reserve a lane, I overhead a conversation there that the people ahead of me were 10th on a wait list and it was already 6:30 PM. This is the only time I can get to the bowling alley as I have work up to that time. As per the agreement for the Summer Pass, it is only good until 8:00 PM. When I got to the front desk, the people there told me that they have 2 events going on and they have not even started. I drove a long distance to bowl only to be denied and the best they can offer is a wait list with no guarantees that I will be able to bowl that day? I don't think so.
They may have ample parking and an arcade for the kids but their attitude about loyalty and customer service stinks. Let the people with the pass who will probably be a regular customer there have the priority to bowl, not the people in events who have more money and more than likely will not come back for continual return visit. Reserve some lanes for your loyal customers with the Summer Pass. This is the Disneyland of bowling alleys. Don't get a loan in order to enjoy yourselves. This only goes to show you that this place is all about profits and not customer service. Tell your company of the bad experience you have had here as an individual and tell them not to patronize this location unless your company wants to lose more money by going here.
Bartender was making rude and inappropriate comments to me, I am transgender, he would not let me or my girlfriend get any more drinks after we had two and made him keep getting us ones we PAY for.
It was insane upon walking in, I do not care having my bag checked at all, I'm not hiding anything but this man went through every crevice of my purse and went in my makeup bag, I giggled to myself because I hope he liked the tampons and lipstick. It was uncomfortable and he was rude as can be. My husband, my 8 year old son and I felt like we were criminals. It was really cringy what that man did in my purse like what was he looking for? You clearly can tell I have nothing my god. At least ask permission to go through everything. Was that even legal? I will never step foot in there again. I'm all about safety but this was wrong and uncomfortable. My 8 year old walked up to his dad who already went through the freaking process and was wanded down already but my kid wasn't. They acted like my 8 year old was a criminal screaming sir sir get back, ummm again to a 8 year old! What is happening. What happened there?. Maybe I don't even want to be there. Again fine with being checked for weapons, fine with protocols, but why was I violated like that?. I should have left immediately. Also it's too expensive the arcade was such a rip off! Too much to play each game, what a waste!
Don't be fooled by this bowling place Groupon deal! My husband purchased the groupon deal for bowling for 4 people for 2 hours for my daughters and their friends. We went to the Bowlero yesterday at 5:30pm and there was plenty of bowling lanes open and when we approached the counter we were first told there was a little wait and I advised them that we had Groupon deal for bowling for 2 hours. Once I did that, the employee's attitude changed and they came extremely unprofessional. Then another employee rudely intervened in our conversation and informs me that their is additional wait for people that are using Groupon deals, and that we would have to wait for the league to be done with their game. He repeatedly told me we would have to wait till after the league with an arrogant attitude for no reasons and I had to stop the man and asked exactly how long do I have wait? He then tells me he doesn't know how long the league will play for and it can be hours- maybe 2-3 hours. I had 4 kids under the age of 10 looking forward to play bowling and there was plenty of other bowling lanes open for them to play. The place wasn't packed and they were discriminating against customers who purchased Groupon deals. This establishment shouldn't be able to promote their business on Groupon and not honor their deals when customers go to use them. This place is a disgrace for a business and is beyond unprofessional. We took our business to SpareZ and the kids had a great time there yesterday!
Lane 5 has broken every 3rd frame. Once again the music is WAY TOO LOUD. Maybe a lawsuit for damages esr drums would make them care about customers
Bowlero has a rating of 1.7 stars from 43 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Bowlero most frequently mention and bowling alley. Bowlero ranks 31st among Local Experiences sites.
