Ordered from book topic many times with no trouble. I order an in stock book for Christmas, receive an email saying it won't dispatch for 15 days. I tried emailing and live chatting to them to ask to expedite it. No responses nothing.
The book was for an overseas trip, so if the book arrives after our departure it will be a waste of $50.
They really need to improve their customer service and their online honesty about in stock items

BOOKTOPIA REFUSES TO REMOVE MY BOOK!
When I parted ways with Ingram to do an exclusive deal with Amazon, Booktopia (who got my book from Ingram) failed to remove my book from their website. When I emailed, they told me "Speak with your publisher." But my publisher had stopped all distribution and told me it was between Booktopia and me.
When I called, they did remove my paperback from the site. But they didn't remove the ebook, which is the problem.
Meanwhile, Amazon is breathing down my neck.
Now I can't reach Booktopia on the phone and they've stop responding to emails. I suspect I'll have to hire a lawyer... and for something as stupid simple as deleting my book page!
This started September 27th, 2019. It's October 11th and still no response from Booktopia. I'll keep this updated.
Late October: After countless emails and two international calls, they finally removed my book.
I ordered a book for my studies. I call them back a few weeks later to check when the books were going to arrived, they promised to shipped them straight away. A week later I called them back just to know that they didn't even have the book. I just hope they give my money back as they promised. Very unhelpful customer service too.
Their customer service is non existent. They don't answer their phones and when they do they cannot help you. After years of spending thousands of dollars with them, I will never buy from them again.

I ordered 4 books total, Booktopia was quick to send emails and there tracking service is excellent. The package was very sturdy so my books arrived safely and not damaged. Very pleased and will be ordering from them again!
Book was delivered promptly unfortunately Australia Post left the book at my front door in torrential rain in a bag not waterproof, I was home with door open, lucky I rescued it before damage was done, poor service Aust Post.
Navigation of website was good as was the price of the book, but paid the extra fee for next day delivery and it didn't arrive until the day after. Misleading and made the whole experience negative. A big let down.

My paperback covered books came with bent covers with the corners fraying and the one book with like a plastic covering over the paperback is peeling off. The package in which it was shipped in was an awful paper bag, a box would've made far more sense.

Answer: Hope you got your books! The website has a great system now where you can click on a contact button from within the order and a while range of options pops up that I have found very useful with a response usually within 12 hours (usually an hour).
