They don't care about packaging, even when you pay for shipping and send items in messed up boxes without any thing to keep them safe. From Canada to the USA my Christmas presents were damaged and I tried to get help to no avail. First they said they opened a ticket on the website to help me but no ticket appears. I then emailed them about it but got no response. Then I uploaded my own ticket to only find they marked it low priority! They don't care about the products they mail, they don't care they mess up Christmas for someone, they don't even care to do what they say they will do. I want my money back! I'm too poor to give a terrible company my business who sends mangled products because they don't care. I buy books all over the place and never had this experience ever so there is no excuse AND I found out later this is a constant with this company so it's them, no excuses they can make. They know they are doing it and just don't care. I wish I never stumbled on the site cause they treat customers like garbage, just like the products they dump in large junky boxes without protection. It's ridiculous.
First time using Book Outlet and I think it's very much worth it! The shipping took a bit longer than I was expecting (about 2 weeks) but for the price I paid- about $17 for 3 books which were in perfect condition- I can't complain too much. I wish the selection of books were much higher but understand that it's an outlet, so you can't be too picky! Once I'm finished with this round of books I will absolutely come back to order more.
Your system is $#*!! Using USPS is a joke! The books have been sitting in my city, Portland, for a week. They have now been coded as "out for delivery" for four days. WTF!?!

The website is easy to use and has several helpful features. I appreciate the very discounts and reward program. My only compliant is the quality of boxes used in shipping. Most of the time, the boxes arrive at my apartment torn, dented, and open (unable to hold the weight of the books inside).

Great selection of books, amazing prices. Shipping was quick and the books came as described, only one instance of a book being bend or damaged. I have place numerous orders and every other one was pristine (except for the marking on the book ends which are as advertised!)
