I thought I had a serious relationship with one of their scammers but when it came to a real meeting I was inexplicably rejected. I got over it and I put another dating platform J1Love.com to test. It worked like a charm for me. I guess this is what happens when you eventually start using a legit service. I wish someone had spilled the beans on BookofMatches and the way it worked before I got involved with them. So now I think it's my mission to warn the unsuspecting users off those scumbags. All conversations are incentivized. All the women you're chatting with are getting commission from BookofMatches. They don't want to meet you (or any other man) offline. They're not looking for any kind of relationship.

I would like to report how my experience was but I am unable to. I created my first profile, tried to make it fairly complete and browsed some profiles before retiring to bed for the evening. The next day, I logged in and was looking at more profiles and in the middle of my visit, I began getting messages that I had to register to view certain items. Thinking that I'd inadvertently logged out, Inattempted to log back in to receive a message that my username/password was invalid. Thinking something had gone wonky, I tried a password reset, and the site responded that it had no email address matching the one I'd used to login just moments earlier.

I decided to recreate the account since the site said it didn't exist, and was able to recreate it with the same info I used before. After getting logged back in and after recreating all of my user profile info and doing a few getting to know you q&a's, I sent a few messages, politely written of course inviting a few female guests to chat if they were interested and then logged off. When I later returned and attempted to login, I was again met with a non existent account.

Both times I wrote tech support an email explaining the situation and asking for help. Neither email was ever answered. Additionally, I never received an email telling me my account had been removed or an explanation why after it had been done. It's frustrating when you would legitimately like to meet someone, are on your best behavior and keep being deleted for no apparent reason.

This score is for lack of communication, non-existent customer service and lack of usability.

A great site for dating & hookups. I've been a member for some time and have gone on many dates. I would highly recommend the site as they also go after scammers so I'm not left wondering.

bookofmatches.com is a dating type social community that I have found safe, friendly and fun. This website is good for someone who is wary or shy. I joined years ago and am not very active, but the little activity I have experienced has been nice. If you are a little tentative about dating sites, start here. It's free and easy. Not rated a five because I don't like some of the services they link to. (You are judged by the company you keep BOM) No pop-up advertising - thanks BOM.
