I had an issue with the website over the first five years, and I did talk to customer retention and they would only offer me three years at 7.97. Although I paid for five years and was not able to use the service, I was not offered a better price. I am disappointed with BlueHost.
Hosting and setting up my blog using bluehost and wordpress is not as straight forward as other website builders out there. I keep on hitting into roadblocks in setting up my blog... with no apparent directions to turn to to try troubleshoot or solve my issue.

Their Wordpress Staging Plugin is full of bugs. If you create a staging site, it will break your main website. In fact during staging creation, main website database tables were deleted by Staging plugin.
Their supporters operators are dumb and they don't have much knowledge about Server processes. My website was broken due to their buggy Staging tool. I requested their support operator to restore a website back and he was moving me around other things like file manager,.htaccess file etc.
I'm so f'ing frustrated. The checkout glitched and I bought domains without privacy protection that now I just have to live with neverending spam calls. FML

Absolutely awful company, my site got hacked even with security added on. 4 weeks and I still don't have my site up, all they do is lie and try to get you off the phone or put you on forever hold and then hang up. Apologies and promises are all I get, supervisors NEVER call you back and they all say they are going to escalate and don't and the supervisors are top of the food chain, you can't talk to anyone but them in a call center half way across the world!
It's been 20 days since I signed up for bluehost and my website is still not running properly. This is such an unethical company. The customer service takes days to complete even the smallest task and there are dozens of steps to get your site running. The attached screenshot is what my website looks like now. Who knows how much business I've lost over the past several weeks. Now my domain is locked and I'm stuck with them for at least 60 days. This has been a nightmare experience.
DNS Propagation is complete. Name servers are pointing to bluehost. But I still can't get to WP backend.

I purchased Bluehost as a website host. I used a template that they suggested. I put a tremendous about of time and effort into it….only to be told that the problems I had, were a glitch and unfixable. They never compensated me for the tremendous amount of time and money lost. Interestingly this put me in a time crunch and forced me to pay them for their expensive help. I don't believe they are an ethical company to do business with….run, this is a scam with a business name.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
