I've been a BlueHost customer for years. Service was good, flexible and well-priced. But all that has changed...
BlueHost initiated what their support referred to as an "Interface Upgrade". However during this upgrade, they accidentally converted my Wordpress Pro (multi-site) account into a Basic Hosting account. This in turn prevented me from adding any additional sites to my account, so I could not do what I had paid for.
I contacted support through chat and after hours of waiting, they escalated it to the billing department. After several more days and several interactions with thei support team, it was escalated to engineering. Today, I found out that my account was suspended, so all of my sites are no longer working. And still there has been no resolution.
BlueHost used to be a high-quality, good-value service. Now it sucks and it's no longer a trustworthy brand.
Your website has many errors, like when trying to purchase additional professional emails, it goes to a "404" error. When signing in, the sign in errors, and i have to go to the new sign in page. Navigation is difficult.
No warning about this dashboard changeover. Your support reps had no idea how to create a subdomain, which is still quite unclear. Not happy with the outsourcing of support. Overall, I can see the writing on the wall.

I've been trying to contact someone to help discontinue my bluehost accounts and NOT renew. No one has gotten back to me and it appears that $$ was taken to renew the site. I did NOT authorize that.
Many things don't work as should. Bluehost plugin for site migration still not fixed despite numerouse feedbacks. Moving domain from one account to other takes weeks. Apparently Bluehost wants everyone to pay for servie of website migration instead of letting people to migrate them manually. Domain migration didn't even start after several days after confirmation. All sites are down for 2 weeks. Very bad for business

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
