Ok, however too many interruptions (ads, etc.) to get to my page.
I paid $758- for 6 months of support. Then, I could not prepare my site to publish it. I explained why in a phone call. A manager blessed me and said because of the circumstances, I was paid through March of 2024. Word Press knew about it because they helped me in October. But in November, suddenly they know nothing and claim you did not tell them.
Easy set up, support staff is outstanding, at a great price
I can never get rid of the message us window after using customer support chat. It floats over all your windows. It has been the same problem in multiple browsers.
Tried to reset my staging site to experiment with some features, but my whole live website has been erased!
Navigation has been challenging with the recent changes over the past year or so. Like the service otherwise.
I have been using BlueHost for about two years now. It was fine until I started to create campaigns; I needed landing pages and subdomains for these landing pages. I asked for help to connect the subdomain with the landing page provider - something that is supposed to be a very easy task, especially if you work in a support group of a worldwide known hosting provider. However, all the possible mistakes were made; I spoke with a few chat consultants, and My case was escalated; the First person from escalated support sent me an email informing me that my issue was solved, but nothing was solved. She just didn't read the ticket carefully and didn't even know what the problem was, DNS was still pointing to the wrong address. It strikes me as highly unprofessional. Then, when another person from the escalated team acted and the landing page started to work, I noticed the main domain was down cause they changed DNS of that domain as well, even though not only were they not asked to do so, but many times I let them know to be careful and asked them specifically not to change DNS for the main domain, cause I knew that will cause an issue. In my experience basic support has no clue about what they should do, they probably mechanically use some manual, unfortunately without giving it a simple thought. Their responses sound automatic and generic. Anyway, most of the times they don't have skills and knowledge to solve issues that are not 100% standard. I know for sure I'm gonna change hosting provider soon. I have also experience with other companies and yeah there are better options on the market.
My website was completely deleted, and now I have to manually reupload it when its the companies fault.
I'm having difficulties to see my email address manager
I'd love just a little more how-to on making the most of my website.
Having to navigate a pop up add to even access your account...I am out.
Good service, but I am very confused with your billing
I've made the login, I was bothered by the creation of a security pin which seems quite pointless. Next I was served an advertisement. I have no time to waste. I purchased the services and I just want to use them without ads or other annoyances.
I just opened the website. The new authentication looks good, but its my first trial. So far so good
The advertisement after logging-in gets really, really annoying
Awful. Avoid at ALL costs.
I have my entire business set up on bluehost. Tons of different websites, spent 10s of thousands on SEO to get the ranked. Plus currently spending thousands on ads to these same websites for various customers.
I've had it 4 times now where all of my websites will be randomly down for no reason. I randomly discovered it each time so likely they were down for days, all while I was spending money google ads to these very sites.
I complained to Bluehost every single time, each time they promised me a full refund + compensation for my lost ad spend and the only thing i have ever received from them after months of dealing with them was an extra free month of hosting ($10 value in exchange for thousands of dollars lost).
Completely unacceptable, disgusting business practices, breaking their promises and lying to their customers. Avoid ad all cost.
Always have to go thru an add-on service screen tho passed on it many times already.
I've barely logged on. I've already been hit with an advert for a security upgrade that is totally not required, a very threatening message about 2-factor authentication whereby I apparently have 2 more "skips" until I'll be forced to action it, and now I have a feedback box shoved in my face with a threatening message in red saying I *need* to give feedback for a 1-star rating you've brought on yourself?
Suck my nuts. Suck my $#*!ing nuts, Bluehost. I'm paying £160 per year for this. I don't have to explain myself to you.
Again, suck my nuts.
There is a learning curve. However, the true frustration is when you update a page and it doesn't do what you updated.
Your tech support is terrible. No one knows how to fix anything. When I contact tech support, they must be helping several people at once. It took them 10 minutes in between responses, and an entire hour and a half to resolve one of the issues.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
