I was notified I was coming up on renewals. When I called, I told the agent I had not yet used my domain, and wanted to only renew the minimum-also I wanted to cancel the automatic changes. I got a not my SSL needed help, so I called again to find I had been given the wrong information. The second agent was extraordinarily helpful, informative and patient. We chose to just upgrade one while I work on actually having content. Then I will turn on the others. I see that the automatic renewals still show as being active. I certainly hope this is not the case.

I cannot stand the appalling level of service I am receiving these days from BlueHost. I cannot contact you by email support. Phoning you all the time from a different country than the USA is impractical and when I do, it takes at east 10 minutes to get past your annoying robots and into a waiting queue that takes at least another 40 minutes until I finally get to talk to a human being. Sometimes I get cut off during that process by your system and have to start over. And on your chat feature spending 1.5 to 2 hours of my precious time each time I have one or two questions that could literally be answered in 5 to 10 minutes, if I d I didn't have to repeat them over and over to your kind representatives, who sadly don't seem to want to read them the first time around and keep on asking me the same questions over and over, is frustrating as hell. So no, your service used to be really good, friendly, fast and efficient. That was 3 years ago. But no more. Which is why I'm leaving BlueHost for good and switching to NameHero. At least they presently offer the type of service level that BlueHost used to.

Bluehost used to feel like a neighborhood business that one would look forward to using its services. Now it feels like just another faceless IT company populated by indifferent call centers and self help menus that only serve to distance the company from the user.
Over 75% of the time when I need to edit my website I have to contact customer service because there is some sort of issue and I cannot access website builder or there is some sort of bug. It rarely gets fixed in a timely manner. It is extremely frustrating and I am very close to moving my business elsewhere.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
