I measured, order and installed (with a bit of help) with absolutely no problems. Nice quality blinds, easy to do and fast to come. I have ordered a couple times from them for my house and rentals.
The blinds are great. The button used to raise and lower them is a pleasure to use.
The only suggestion I would make to Blindster would be to improve their instructions to match the blinds better.
Flexible company; wanted to use the sale but hadn't picked our color yet. Able to order the blinds but have the order held until our samples arrived and we could pick just the perfect color. We still were able to take advantage of the sale prices. Easy online website to use to find what we wanted.

Customer Service before & after purchase was excellent! This company really does stand behind their advertising & products. Received lots of good info from reps as I was on-line shopping that helped me make my selections in purchasing faux wood blinds for the first time. Two inch blinds are of very good quality & look great hanging 2 on 1 head rail. Have received many compliments from family & friends!

I contacted Blindster on June 1,5 days after I expected the blind to arrive. Only then did they inform me the material was on back order, due to arrive at factory in 9 days. My blind would be made immediately and shipped, I was told. I wasn't troubled by the out of stock back order so much as that Blindster did not contact me OR update my order status. NOTE: On first post I neglected to mention they gave me a 10% discount for the delay. That was appreciated.
June 21st: still no blind and no communication from Blindster via email or order status update... Called company... Yes fabric had arrived, but could not give me any information on my blind. Said I should try calling back in a few days. Called on June 24. Rep thought I'd receive shipping info on 6/27. We'll see if that happens.
Phone reps have always been polite and apologetic. If the company would have kept me informed with requiring me to initiate and call back for info, my rating would be higher.
UPDATE: 5:50pm 6/27: Received note from Blindster refunding an additional 20% due to additional delay and lack of communication. The refunds show the company is responsive and are enough for me to bump up my review to "Average." Will update again when product finally arrives...
Smooth and easy ordering. I would just recommend that you add a few inches to the height of your window size if ordering pull down shades so you don't max out the shade every time...

Ordering from Blindster.com is very easy!
I first ordered several free samples of verticals I liked and the samples arrived in a few days. The samples were a good size.
I then placed my order online using Blindster's easy ordering process. Within about 2 weeks my vertical blind arrived. It was VERY well packaged in a super sturdy shipping box. My husband and I easily installed the vertical blind and valance in about an hour. (And our blind is big! 124"×65") Blindster also sent extra vertical slats with our order.
We were so satisfied with our experience, a couple weeks later, we ordered another vertical for the kitchen window. This time I had to contact customer service online to help me choose a color to closely match the livingroom blind color, and the customer service rep was very helpful matching the color perfectly! The second ordering experience was just like the first. PERFECT!
I will definitely order again and I highly recommend Blindster.com to anyone looking for blinds. Using a 30% off coupon, the prices were very reasonable. (However, they do charge an oversize freight fee of $75 for large size blinds).
The routless blinds that I ordered do not stay connected to the opening & closing cord in the back of each slat. I would not recommend this style because the slats frequently become disconnected and look uneven.

Routeless blinds are not for everyone. They do shift when opened and closed which means they don't work well when mounted outside the window.
You can return these blinds under our Satisfaction Guarantee. I will call you directly to see what we can to resolve this issue.
Purchased seven premium top down/bottom up blackout blinds for a new home.
Received the shipment in what appeared to be seven separate intact boxes, only to find five out of the seven blinds were damaged.
The plastic end pieces were broken and shattered at one or both ends (top middle and bottom) of each blind.
Promptly contacted customer service and their solution was to send the individual end pieces for me to repair. After receipt of these parts it became obvious that I would further damage the blinds trying to remove the (hot glue or epoxy) secured end pieces.
Back to customer service after being totally disappointed in the purchase so far to ask for return and refund procedures. It only got worse.
We were told that because the amount was too much, (over a $1,000.00) we couldn't get a refund.
Asked to speak with a manager and was told they would call back within 24 hrs.
Approval came the next day to return the blinds.
Frustrating to say the least, we had heard so many good things about Blindster and were anxious to get a good product only to be disappointed.
We were offered to reorder new blinds, but declined.

I'm sorry you were disappointed.
Ship damage is the single most challenging issue we deal with every day. Mainly because it is almost entirely out of our control.
All of our factories do a good job of packaging the blinds and shades. Unfortunately, window coverings are an odd shade and usually every heavy. This combination doesn't work well when shipping. We certainly could have remade your shades and shipped you new shades right away. Instead, it looks like you opted to get a refund.

I completely understand your dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, this factory did not notify us until very late, around the time you called us the first time. That doesn't excuse this type of service and I have addressed this issue with the factory.
