I had a great experience. Very happy with the product. Only issue I had was that on the Roman shades(specifically) with the Top-Down/Bottom-up they come with a valance and nowhere on the website is the length of the valance listed. Also there was no mention as to which shades and features come with valances. When I called and talk to somebody at the desk she was able to answer my question.

A Smooth Process

I had my measurements ready. My experience with Christian was very efficient. He asked me all of the appropriate questions. He pointed out ways to improve the blinds I was ordering--such as ordering 3 blinds for a 3-panel window... as a unit. That insured the best fit and much easier installation.
The when we got to the kitchen bay window, he sent me a guide that clarified the way to measure and order the 3 blinds. They fit nicely.
I was impressed with Christian's knowledge, competence, and professionalism. My blinds have fit just as they should. He looked for the best deal for me. And I am pleased with my whole experience.

Somewhat disappointed

This is the 13th blind we have ordered from Blindster. We were delighted with the first 12. This one was missing two of the plastic adjustment tabs, the leveling mechanism does not function the same as the original 12. Since the packaging was different, we wonder if it came from a different manufacturer since The delivery was several weeks longer.

Cordless blinds

I ordered two cordless blinds. One arrived damaged, but my husband was able to bend the bent area back into place. Also these blinds do not work as advertised. When lifting the blinds, often they do not gold up evenly.

I hasaw a good experience with blindster. The blinds are of nice quality and fairly easy to install. I had a measurement issue and they refunded me promptly. If you are getting an outside mount do not add 3 inches to the length as suggested. Add 1 or possibly 2.

Pulldown shades

I thought the website was easy to work within, I liked the options I had & I got just what I wanted. The quality of the shades is good and they pull so smoothly on the rollers. If have only one negative, it would be the time it took for the order to be filled.

Measured the window sent it in and they contacted me right away worried that I did not measure correctly - I did measure right but it was an odd size - they confirmed the measurement send out my shutters - fit and only took a half an hour from unpacking to install - easy

Had to change style

Purchased the roman shades using one of the patterns offered. Since the pattern had a vertical and horizontal repeat, I called their customer service 2xs for a recommendation on the best style and was told the flat shade would be best. When I received the shades they looked like the fabric had been pieced together where the rods were sewn at the back completely distorting the pattern. The middle of one of the shades also sagged.
Blindster agreed to remake the shades with the soft fold style if I agreed to pay the additional amount for the style. I wanted the shades with this pattern since I had selected it to go with other elements in the room so I agreed. It took quite awhile to get the replacement shades, one still sags but I'm done with trying to make it right. Not sure I'll be ordering through them again.

I'm sorry you weren't happy with your order.
It is hard to predict how some of the bolder patterns will look in the plain style of roman shade. I can certainly understand why you didn't like the way your pattern looked. Some customers are OK with the distorted look and some are not.
That is why it is our policy to offer the other styles when a customer is unhappy with the way a pattern looks in the plain style. The flat fold style is the most pure of the styles for bolder patterns because it leaves the pattern unchanged. However, with the flat fold style you can see the threads on the front of the shade where the stay (stiff piece attached to the back of the shade so that it will fold properly when raise) is attached to the shades. This thread will match the predominant color in the shade but it will be used in all places, even if the pattern color isn't the same where the stitch is made. I believe this is why you chose to get the soft fold.
The soft fold does not keep the pattern unchanged but it does allow the pattern to flow better and is less distorting. Unfortunately, there is an additional charge for this style because it uses more fabric. When this style is chosen for the remake we only charge for the option charge so that you pay the same price as you would have if you had ordered the original shades with this option.
The shades you have should not sag. I will call you right away to get this resolved. We take great care so that our customer's get the product that they want and that they are made properly. I apologize for all the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Ok Blinds

Blinds tend to get misaligned at halfway point to bottom. Not perfectly horizontal. Also, the blackout blinds were originally cut incorrectly. One was correct. Other was 2 inches shorter (width). Called and blindster resent blinds with correct width but I had to pay $30 shipping. Should have shipped free since there was blindster error.

The blinds were as not the same quality that I already had. Plus I had to send back 2 different complaints to bowed blinds and a wromg sized header. Although the CS was very understanding. I ordered these for a family reunion party at my home and I was not able to showcase the windows because of the different looking blinds that I ha to mix and match. I was upset.

I had a whole-house order. Some of the material had recently been back ordered so the manufacture time of these were a bit longer--which they let me know about after I asked. This, however, made the delivery time when I was out of state. I was told an email would be sent when the blinds shipped. This email never happened so I was unable to arrange for the packages to be brought into my house. They were on my deck for ~1 week unfortunately. But luckily nothing happened.

The product and value are great and I'm very happy with that.

Eclipse - blackout - solar shade -
August 2, 2016

We hired someone to install the Eclipse - blackout-solar shade. The Eclipse blackout solar shade has cut down the heat in the third level of our Condo-Town-home where there is no air-conditioning. I searched out your company online. We have had high cost in electric bills due to the summer heat for 20 years. I was called about installing solar roof panels but in a Condo with a homeowners association -we are not allowed to have solar roof panels. I hope the Eclipse blackout-solar shade with help cut cost and the heat. Yesterday - yes the heat was less.
