We had just replaced all our old single pane windows with modern dual pane windows and thus decided to replace a few of the window treatments. We first called a local company which promises their product in 3 days but found them to be way out of our budget. We came across blindster.com among a few other websites and found blindster.com to be the best in terms of choices and ease of use so we placed our order with them and got our blinds ahead of schedule. We had an issue with one of the blinds so they sent out a replacement free! I will definitely recommend Blindster.com to my family and friends.
Right from the beginning you could tell you had good service, they wanted to make sure I was ordering the right color cellular shade. When I did not ask for sample they got sample out to me right away and made sure that I was ordering the right sizes. Had a little problem once I got my blinds some of them were delivered a color that I had not ordered, but this was taken care of right away and new ones were shipped within a week. I feel that they are good quality blinds

With three orders (15 blinds total) accurately fulfilled by Blindster over the span of a year or so, I consider their products and service to be outstanding. I made an error in measuring one item, and a replacement blind was provided pronto to correct the error. On a second occasion, a blind was damaged in shipping. Ordered a large (71x60) vinyl roller shade. It is much higher quality than the one it replaced. Rolls nicely and hangs evenly. Could use a plastic handle. We are ordering another one for the living room.
It was all our fault till we advised that we gave them an inside measurement and they,(the factory), cut and sent an outside measurement on 2 of the 4 blinds. They made us take all kinds of pics that they didn't accept and approve and we needed to redo pics a second time to prove we were right. They didn't like us using a wood 36" ruler, so we had to take more pics with a yellow ruler. Then we noticed, in big and bold instructions to the factory on the invoice was a large note saying "INSIDE" measurement and they cut an OUTSIDE measurement. Factory blaming us, then blaming the sales person... not as easy to deal with as the prez of the company says on his radio ads. Bad experience.
I am a contractor by trade so I know how to measure windows for fitting things such as blinds. This is a 101 type of thing to do. My disappointment is getting the blinds 1/8" larger then the opening I measured. It is stated that the deduction is taken into account for proper fit, but that was not the case with 2 of my orders. Lucky for me I was able to alter the opening in order to fit the blinds so I didnt have to return them. Your people at Blindster.com need to pay attention to what they are doing when they are making the final product. Next time if there is one I will make sure I deduct just a little more so this is not an issue again.
