We love our new blinds. The blackout works perfectly, and the width of both ordered were perfect. I think for this style shade I would order the height an inch or two longer than the actual window because I think the little bit of extra slack would look a little nicer.

In summary, you get what you pay for. The valance design is terrible and the directions could be much, much better. You would think that a company that has been in business for so long they would have perfected the directions by now.
The website is easy to shop on. The quality of the blinds is not great, but they are the least expensive around. So, I just order a new pair when the old one break, about every 3-4 years. This time I signed up for the 5-year warranty, hopefully the blinds will either last at least 5 years or I'll get a new pair if the blinds break before 5 years. They are easy to install.

Honestly, I was nervous after I placed my order, because I saw some negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived on the estimated date of delivery. Smaller blinds installed with out a problem. Larger shade had broken pins and replacement parts arrived a bit longer than expected. That said, blinds are a fine addition to the room.

One of my shades was delivered broken. When I opened the box and installed the shade the spring in the shade did not work properly. I tried to reset the srpinf myself, but I could not get it to work. I called blindsgalore and told them about my problem. The person on the phone tried to toubleshoot the issue with me. I then recorded a short video and sent the video to costumer service. I was then sent a confirmation email stating that blindsgalore would send me a new shade. The process was easy and I am happy that my new shade was working properly.
