Have tried several different brands and these guys are the best so far. I have owned my Coco for five years now and it started acting up recently so I sent it in for repair. Spoke with the tech and let him know that I never changed the water filter and he explained that now they have a new type of metal screen filter. They didnt charge me for the screen filter. Highly recommend!
SEAT STOPPED STAYING UPRIGHT AFTER COUPLE OF YEARS. FOR A BIDET THAT COSTS $200+ I'D THINK THESE TYPES OF MALFUNCTION WOULD BE COVERED. CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS NOT RESPONDED. STAY AWAY
For what would otherwise be a relatively decent product, the after sales support was atrocious. The seat hinge (right side when seated) seems to break after several months and Bio life/CoCo will not stand behind their product. I was told creatively that the break was my fault inadequate installation. Albeit, when pressed, there was some modification made to the seat. Warranties, in my opinion, address normal wear and tear, not defective engineering. It seems that Bio life/CoCo would not be reasonable in addressing customer concerns. The Operations Manager said she would not talk directly with the owner on my behalf regarding my concern, but only send him my emailhmmmI wont hold my breath.
This gave me the impression that the only concern was more about the bottom line ($$). After the SECOND time this specific break occurred, the Operations Manager could have extended the courtesy of waving most/all fees. Certainly the $25 shipping, $40 Service fee, and $40 part seemed nominal but sometimes principle and customer courtesy/satisfaction should be worth a lot more to the company. Im sure they will ignore the 5,10 or 15% of us who actually address issues; however, for the consumer who is shopping, I cant say I would give a full throated endorsement of Bio life Tech/CoCo at this time. Lets see what happens if the owner actually engages
If you want to be scammed by all means try them out. If you don't, then STAY AWAY! Phone goes straight to a voicemail and emails DO NOT get answered! They are NOT what they claim to be.
I ordered online and paid through PayPal. I received an order confirmation but the product was never shipped. I have started a dispute with PayPal.
I have the Coco XR and have owned it for about 2 years. I recently encountered a cracked seat hinge mount. For most, Id recommend returning the unit for such a repair because it is somewhat complicated to fix. I had difficulty reaching someone at the company to obtain the needed parts. As others have said, they can be difficult to contact. This is a replacement review because my first one needed to be replaced once I did make contact. They were actually great and were able to sell me the needed parts and ship them quickly... once I made contact.
Dealing with the Bio Life Tech company has been a frustration to say the least. My wife and I had just built our home and had finally placed outlets in positions to accomodate bidets in two of three bathrooms. After reading about the features offered by the Bio Life "Coco 9500x" model, I made an online purchase. Delivery was timely. Not interested in attempting any plumbing adventures, I brought my contractor in to make the swap. He immediately contacted me upon opening the box and told me that the model I purchased was the wrong fit for my toilet. It had never occured to me that I needed to inquire as to if my bowl was long or round as most that I find in homes are round. They'd sent me a long fitting seat cover. After contacting Bio Life I was informed that since the packaging was opened there was a no exchange policy. Their solution... buy a new toilet! This was me dealing with a supervisor. I'm very sad to say this now but they ended up talking me into buying a second unit after I measured all angles they deemed necessary. The second unit arrived and it didn't take long to notice that there was no way it was going to fit on our standard... everyday... normal fitting toilet. The front lip doesn't come close to lining up with the front of the toilet, it's a significant "overbite" if you will. Moving on to performance. The seat heater has a habbit of turning off. The water will hit you with a few seconds of cold before it warms up to acceptable temp. All these issues being self contained in the unit that was delivered fully assembled leads me to the conclusion that both the customer service and the technology they offer are sub par. There was no follow-up contact by the team lead that fielded my concerns and fed me the line that a second unit was the solution. Please make sure to use caution when dealing with this company as once you open the product, there's no going back. But that isn't something you'd know when casually making your purchase.
Why is no one answering the phone at bio life and how one can get in touch with the company?
I purchased a CoCo 9500 Ultimate Bidet from this company just over 1 year ago. All was going fine until I noticed the seat cracked in the back just outside my 1 year warranty period. I called *******077 and spoke with Samantha Phillips the Operations Manager. She seemed very nice and advised the seat crack is probably caused by customer installation and not covered by warranty. She suggested I return the Bidet at my cost, w/o attachments so they could have a tech look at the crack to confirm what caused it and to check the unit over completely to insure there were no other issues. She also said it would take 2-3 days after receipt to check my unit over and replace the seat. No specific costs were determined up front because the tech may find additional problems. Samantha said not to worry, just clean the unit and return it to their office in Enid Oklahoma.
Unfortunately none of what Samantha said was true, and now they don't even answer their phone or return calls. Help! I suppose the next step is to sue them, and/or file a BBB report on their company.
They have had my Bidet held hostage now for 4 weeks, and have not contacted me. So much for the 2-3 days. I did reach Samantha once and she said many technicians have quit the company so there is nobody around to repair or review my Bidet, or any of the others they have sitting there. Really! I asked Samantha for a replacement, or for my unit to be returned but I have received no response. I also don't believe my cracked seat was caused by installation as the unit has no rear seat adjustment or possibility to install it incorrectly. I believe the rear pads on the seat are designed incorrectly, they are too small and do not touch the toilet base to support the occupant properly. Hence the weight eventually cracks the seat. Poor design, not installation caused the seat crack. So it should be covered by warranty. I assume they have had many fail, so they are now in trouble financially. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE a Bio Bidet from this company, as they do not support their products, what they tell you will most likely not happen, and their customer service scores a zero. I will never do business with this company for the rest of my life, and I will hopefully warn as many people as possible to not do business with them. Don't send them anything as you will most likely never get it back. Signed, Jack Upnorth/Screen Name
