The flowers did not meet my expectation. Some had brown spots, some were dried out, some were mushed looking as if they had received them in a box that had flattened some of them. When I picked the flowers up from the store, the door bell went off but no one came to meet me at the front desk. I had to go search for someone. They were very nice and professional and gave me a box to help the flowers not tip over in my car since it was a very large arrangement. I was not happy with the way the flowers looked, but it was the day of my wife's birthday and I wanted to give her some flowers rather than no flowers. I ordered these flowers two days in advance, so I'm wondering if the flowers sat out those two days. As I was driving the flowers home, I was having a conversation in my head with the person in charge of setting the quality of Bice's flowers, "Are these the flowers you would have picked to give to someone you love?". When my wife got the flowers she asked me if I had left them in front of a window or something because they looked dried out, and she mentioned that some of the flowers looked mushed, but she said that she was very happy to have them. The problem I have with ordering flowers and then getting this type of quality is that this is a symbol of my love to her; and brown, dried out, mushed flowers don't represent my love to her well. She deserves better. I have heard from others that Bice's has better quality than other online vendors, so I will give them another try.
