Returns are horrible given service from competitors. You need to pay for return shipping, plus they will reduce your refund for whatever they decide to charge you for the original shipping (which shows free on my paid invoice). I will never order from this company again.
Rec'd email with sale on suet. It's a sham! Less than a month ago we ordered some of the same suet from BestNest and full price was notably less than their current "sale" pricing. I have purchased from them in the past but this consumer fraud is inexcusable! My business goes elsewhere!
Best best.com has terrible customer service. I tried to return an item and it was only days past their unreasonable 30 day limit and they refused to allow the return. I bought a bat house pool which was not adequately described on the web site. I would recommend Amazon or Wild Birds Unlimited over this company.
I am very unhappy from the very start. Their logo is they ship the day we order. Wrong! One month later when I called to see why I didn't get my order, I was told FedEx had already delivered it. I was always at this address since my order, did NOT recieve any deliveries from Fed Ex, but many from Amazon. Their only solution for the matter was for me to go door to door and ask my neighbors about a wrong delivery. (Which I did but no result) I've spent over $300. For this order that never came! I am very very unhappy with BestNest for being so ignorant and not even trying. Never again!
I have ordered four times over ten years, twice this year, everything from arbors to gazing balls to bird supplies, and each order has been beyond perfection. They have things no other place does, the prices are fair for what you get, and they have a wide variety of quality ranges, so you can spend $30 or you can spend $300, and you'll get something commensurate with what you spend. All in all, I can't say enough good things, and I will definitely buy again and again and again!
I bought their wind product to complement the four other wind toy we have on the driveway; my wife really like these things. Sadly the one from BestNest was clearly low quality because it didn't turn in the wind; in fact, we had a howling gale, and it still didn't turn. I think it was badly designed and wasn't able to catch the wind at all. I would never buy an item from these folks again. The return process was ugly, and all expenses for the original shipping and return for a non-working product were at my cost, not theirs. Mike
Paint was chipped off one metal bird feeder, which means it will rust quickly. The other metal bird feeder had a visually prominent part that was assembled crookedly at the soldered/brazed joint. I contacted BestNest.com immediately and sent pictures of the damaged and defective products. They also required pictures of the shipping invoice, the shipping label, and the shipping box. After a few days they determined that the damage and detect was not enough to warrant a replacement. They offered to discount the items if I repaired them myself. I can't repair the soldered/brazed joint on the one. If I return the items the website says they will deduct the shipping from my refund. Unacceptable that I either have to repair items myself or lose money. Steer clear.
This company is in business simply to defraud customers. The birdhouse hanger I purchased was not remotely similar to the product pictured on their site. When I attempted to return the bait and switch product, the company refused, then stopped responding to all communication. Buyer beware.
I ordered a gardening bench. Did not even take it out of the box and realized it was too small for my area. Called the company, asked to return it and PAY MORE MONEY for a larger bench. They would not allow the return, even though the product was still in the box. Very frustrating.
I ordered a bird feeder that was never received. Their customer service said it was delivered. No replacement or refund provided. Just a bunch of crooks. Lesson learned!
ORNAMENTAL BIRD/BELL GARDEN STAKES BY ANCIENT GRAFFITI BRAND HAVE BELLS HANGING AT AN ANGLE AND OBVIOUS SOLDER SPOTS. I ASKED TO EXCHANGE BUT BEST NEST AFTER CONTACTING THIS MANUFACTURER STATES THESE ARE NORMAL AND WILL NOT EXCHANGE FOR US SAYING REPLACEMENTS WOULD BE THE SAME.
Electric bird feeder only worked for a little while Thought I was buying my wife the best one I could get. We were very disappointed! I know it's been A little over a year but wanted to let you know.
Sent my product in pieces with need for assemble and ZERO instructions. I paid a huge amount for something I cant return and I cant use.
I bought a Woodlink tube feeder from Bestnest for about $65, and it turned out to be extremely flimsy, very poor quality, and was demolished by squirrels in a day. Bestnest offered nothing more than a link to the manufacturer if I wanted to contact them, but would not stand by their product at all. If it was a $19 feeder, I'd expect junk, but for the money, it should have been constructed with better material than flimsy plastic.
I would absolutely recommend avoiding business with this company
I NEVER RECEIVED MY PRODUCT FROM THEM AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. I HAVE A RING DOORBELL AND CAMERAS ON MY PROPERTY AND KNOW I DID NOT RECEIVE THE PACKAGE EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM I DID. IRONICALLY, IT WAS A PERSONALIZED MAILBOX THEY NEVER SENT TO ME. THEY REFUSE TO RECTIFY THE MATTER OR GIVE ME A REFUND. BESTNEST SHOULD NOT GET AWAY WITH STEALING FROM IT'S CUSTOMERS!
Two weeks ago I ordered a metal birdbath from this godforsaken company.
When I received the product, I spent 45 minutes getting the damned thing put together. The screw holes weren't properly lined up.
When I finally gave up trying to attach the final screw, I sat the birdbath bath on the floor to see if the legs would hold. The birdbath immediately started to sink under it's own weight.
I immediately contacted this company's customer service and got an RMA to return the piece of junk.
Today I received an email from their customer service stating that the item was damaged and that they aren't going to honor the refund.
DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I was looking to buy a birdhouse. I saw one that said FREE FLAG for $159.99. After I placed my order, I saw the EXACT same birdhouse with the same SKU number for $147.99. I emailed them and asked them to refund the $12 difference and they said they wouldn't. I asked them to explain to me how the exact same SKU can have two different prices, when the one I ordered said FREE FLAG. It's certainly not free if they're charging $12.00 more. Their customer service department was HORRENDOUS and they DO NOT care about their customers. BUYER BEWARE... THIS COMPA NY IS A SCAM PLACE, BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE!
We recently purchased a bird feeder as a gift from BestNest. We were told by someone we trust that they manufactured high end products so we trusted that when we chose to purchase an item for $350 we would be receiving high quality. When the feeder arrived the box had been extremely damaged, multiple holes in the box. When we opened it we found the feeder had been damaged, a piece of wood broken off and several places cracked. We weren't upset as these things happen but when we contacted BestNest to begin the process of shipping it back to them for a new one we were told the process would take too long for us to receive the new one when we needed it. We had purchased the item as a gift and had a small window to present it. We purchased a different feeder (same quality, $200 cheaper) and returned the broken item to BestNest. We requested a shipping label and were told since we were refusing to replace it we would have to incur the shipping fees and it was "against their policy to provide a shipping label." Again, note we did not "refuse" a new item, we wanted a new item they refused to resolve it in a timely manner (we had 7 days to receive the item, they would not comply). We paid $58 to UPS to return the item and then found out BestNest deducted $45 from our refund for the original shipping cost. I am beyond shocked. In today's online shopping system, respectable companies own the responsibility of packaging their items properly and they do not pass poor packaging mistakes along to customers. BestNest claims to be a Christian based company but they refuse to do what is best for their customers. They are more committed to money than to doing what is right. A $350 bird feeder and then I had to pay them $115 to return it to them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

On April 23,2022, I purchased a Dura-Trel Picnic Table with Unattached benches from BestNest online paid $496.86.
On May 15,2022, I assembled the picnic table, not the benches. Very poor quality and defective. Directions to "glue on" end caps which did not fit. Kept popping off. Overall the table is plastic crap.
I contacted customer service that same day advising that "we built the table" and that it was awful, and that we wanted a refund, to which we received the following email response, which we followed. "Hi Glenn, We are sorry to hear that you no longer wish to keep your item. If you have received an item that is damaged or missing pieces, please contact us at 1-XXX-562-1818 prior to shipping your item. We may be able to resolve your issue in a much quicker fashion and without the hassle of return shipping. Replacement pieces or items may be available for shipment without the need for return. If you wish to make a discretionary return, we do accept returns on new, unused items within 30 days. Please send your item back to us at the address information below. While we do not have a restocking fee, we do not include our shipping and handling costs in return credits. Once we receive an authorized return, we will typically process it within 7 business days. After inspection, a credit for the returned item minus the waived shipping for that item will be applied to the original payment method." I paid $158 in shipping to return the product in the original boxes.
On May 25,2022, BestNest's customer service supervisor "Zack" insisted BestNest would issue no refund since I assembled the table, which I advised BestNest I did before incurring the cost to return it for a refund. ZACK'S ONLY OFFER WAS TO RETURN THE DEFECTIVE TABLE TO ME IF I PAID SHIPPING. That's nuts.
Best Nest does not stand behind the crap they sell to consumers. I am now out over $650, no picnic table, and lots of aggravation from BestNest.
