While the berries are great, the customer service and website is awful. I was charged for an order that I never confirmed. I then called and canceled the order within 5 minutes. After a month and 5 phone calls later, I have yet to receive the refund they promised. Every time I call I have to repeat the same situation to a new representative and the issue is never resolved. I also find the product over priced once you include shipping and tax.
I ordered for Mother's Day a dozen Chocolate covered starwberries and 18 mini strawberry cheese cake bites. Not only was the shipping charge because it is hot out ridiculous that it cost more them the order. It was delivered on the Friday before Mother's Day and was only half the order. Called customer service and told me they would deliver the other half on the following Wednesday after Mother's Day. After I said it was unacceptable they said they could deliver on Monday that was the best they could do. Then when the order came on Monday it was still wrong not strawberry covered cheesecake it was plain cheese cake bites. Do yourself a favor and don't order from here.

Ordered for Mom for Mother's day and paid extra to ensure delivery the Saturday before. Never showed up and after repeated calls no reason why. On top of that, the CSR hung up on me when I told them I had no interest in a replacement, just a refund.
I got them as a Mothers Day gift. All the pictures show strawberries with stems and are only partially covered berries. Mine had no stems and were completely covered in chocolate. I guess that was to hide the fact that some were not ripe (white tops) or that some were mushy (old berries). I can get tastier berries at the grocery store and dip them myself and would be a lot cheaper!
I ordered a package that included an additional delivery fee to have sent to My Mother Saturday May 13, to have on her most special day, Mother's Day. I became very well aware that they knew she did not receive her special gift on the 13th after an email that I received from them. I called and expressed my ultimate concern for the email I received stating the delivery date changed to Tuesday 05/16. I was shocked and concerned that my Mother would not have her gift on Mothers Day. I was PROMISED by a service representative that it would be delivered overnight and received May 14,2017. She gave her word! I believed her and felt reassured that My Mother would receive the gift on time. I am fully aware that they knew that she DID NOT receive her gift on Mother's day as promised because she did not! I feel cheated and lied to.
Shari's Berries lied to me. They deceived me and cheated My Mother out of her special gift that I was promised she would receive 05/14. Although I requested a delivery date again by replying to a letter sent by one of their reps. 05/15, I never received confirmation, then surprisingly the package arrived midday 05/15. The Flowers were wilted and far from revival. The chocolate covered strawberries and cheese cake are completely unrecognizable! What type of business would do this? I am completely insulted that Shari's Berries would consider this to be anywhere near acceptable. Nothing resembles what I paid for. Nothing resembles anything that anyone in their right mind would eat let alone enjoy.
I received several scripted emails from several different customer sales representatives with weird names that dont even seem real offering to resend the order or provide a credit coupon for the same value to redeem at another time. I chose the credit coupon each of the reps. I then received an email each time stating that the coupons were no longer available. This happened enough that I was just simply fed up. I finally asked that they re-send the package. I then received another email stating that the package I ordered was no longer available. This is an extremely unacceptable business practice. We are left with nothing!
This experience has destroyed any enjoyable surprise I had expected to be given to My Mother for her Special day. I am completely embarrassed and ashamed by this situation that Shari's Berries put me and my Mother in. I cant imagine the feeling My Mother had when she opened the package!
I have been cheated, deceived, manipulated, lied to, insulted and made embarrassed as well as ashamed!
This type of business practice lacks integrity, honesty, trust and dependability. The service that I have received from Shari's Berries is unacceptable and is a disgrace to the service industry.

WOW! After a failed attempt at ordering my friend an edible arrangement, I decided to go with Shari's Berries. It was less expensive with a bigger variety which I loved. Unfortunately, the ordered arrived melted. Our weather has been in the 60's but naturally the day it was delivered we a 90 degree day. I emailed customer support to let them know and they responded INSTANTLY giving me the option of a full refund or new order. Extraordinary customer service. My friend popped the cookies into the fridge for a few hours before taking a bite and she said they were still absolutely delicious! Would order again regardless of the outcome from this order because the customer support was that amazing.
A dozen of chocolate covered strawberries were supposed to arrive on Tuesday but finally did on Wednesday late. They were a Mother's Day gift to me. The arrived with soft berries and chocolate pieces all over the box. The first order was delayed via the carrier so I received a double order. Unfortunate as I was looking forward to enjoying them as I haven't had them before.

They were a gift from my daughter for Mother's Day. They arrived warm, ice pack totally melted, melted chocolate, soggy berries. I'll warn daughter to never order again!
My son sent me the dipped strawberries and cheesecakes for mothers day. Cheesecakes were good, chocolate covered strawberries were green. All the pictures show strawberries with the stem showing. These were completely covered probably so you couldn't see they were green. I have sent these berries before based on recommendation of Glenn Beck. He probably gets the best ones. We however do not. I called customer service and spoke to someone I had trouble understanding with a heavy Indian accent and a bad connection who was going to send some more berries. Haven't gotten then yet to be delivered in 2 days. I was disappointed in the quality and the out of country customer service. Won't order from them again and will let my son know.
Despite the issues with my previous order, Shari's Berries management took a step to resend my order (at no cost to me) to make up for the previous blunder. I received 2/3 of my previous order as the company forgot to add the extra box of chocolate covered cherries, as I did with my original order. This action shows a company that cares about the customer and its reputation. The fruit is fresh although, the chocolate does not rival the Godiva or Hershey and the product is a bit over-rated.
After receiving the first order that my daughter had sent for Mother's Day with dead flowers and melted berries, which by the way was delivered on the Monday after Mothers Day, being shipped out on Thursday. These went right in trash. Replacement shipment arrived on Wednesday with wilted tulips and cracked berries. Looking nothing like advertisement pictures. This was no charge. They refunded the original cost. However disappointed. I have had before and we're fine.
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Over Priced for 6 small soft strawberries and Shipping charges were a disgrace, how they charged extra for Mother Day delivery! My Poor Husband who bought them for me was so embarrassed at the high cost and the lack of quality with this product. I would never buy from this place again!

This company just sucks and needs to close. They charged me for shipping (3 different shipping charges btw) and then didn't DELIVER IT! I called the next day and they told me it was cancelled but couldn't tell me why. So I asked for a supervisor and still was told they couldn't tell me why. (Seriously why even bother with the "supervisor" which I'm sure is the same person I was talking to at first) so now a Mother's Day present is no longer happening thanks to sharis berrys! SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME and DO NOT order from them
This is the worst, shocking buying experience ever to buy my 94+ year old mom Shari's Berries for Mother's Day. Ordered on April 27,2017. Received around 3 p.m. today. 11 out of 12 berries are crushed, gray mold is starting to take over, box is leaking, ice pack is long defrosted, paid an extra $9.99 over and above the outrageous $16.99 for Saturday, May 13th delivery. Totally inedible. They need to be thrown out. Mom didn't get a gift this Mother's Day when the family was over for dinner. Several calls to Shari's Berries. Lied to over and over, i. E. they will be delivered on May 13th, to disregard an email saying they will come on May 16th, promised they would come by May 14th, etc.
Horrible experience... previous experience a few years ago was impressive. Checking to see if a refund shows up on my bank statement. Not so far. Will NEVER, ever, buy Sharies Berries again. I'll be sure to spread the word what an awful company to do business with!
The first time one of my children sent me berries they were delivered on time and very delicious, so of course I wasn't hesitant in saying yes when I was asked if I wanted them again. This time when the berries were ordered they arrived late in the evening and before I opened the box I could smell that they had gone bad and the ice packaging was completely melted but still a little cold, so of course we contacted the company and they promised to rectify the situation and promised the berries before Mother's Day only to get them two days later and they were completely hot and stinky! I was looking forward to them! Needless to say I will not order from Shari's Rotten Berries again! And poor customer service!
My co-worker ordered a delivery for Mother's Day. The product was terrible. The berries were a third of the size they typically are; we just received some others in our office about two months ago and they were the correct size and decorated properly.
I have listened to her speak to your corporate office for twenty minutes just trying to get someone to understand the dissatisfaction with the product and to honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee ("or we will make it right"). The agent at first refused to assist, then offered a partial refund. After more hold time and requesting a supervisor, she was finally told they would give her a refund for the full amount.
The customer service is terrible. The product was not worth the cost. The shipping costs more than the product because of the need to ship with ice packs. Now you've lost at least two customers and of course, the five other people we will tell, and the five they will tell... Will not recommend.
I purchased a Groupon for the sole purpose of using the voucher towards a Mother's Day gift. The shipping came out to $17.99 standard delivery + $14.99 Guaranteed Sunday Delivery fee. I justified the outrageous shipping as the money I'd save on the Groupon. Just like many others on this site, I had exactly the same problem. Not only did Shari's Berries fail to tell me my gift would not be delivered on Sunday; when I called their customer service to follow up, I was informed that not only would they refund my money, they would deliver the gift the following Monday. Now, it's Tuesday and after another call to the customer service, I was informed that I will only be receiving a refund and nothing else.
I'm beyond disappointed in the lack of customer service of this company. I will never be using their services and I will be sure to let anyone who listens, that if you're thinking of using this company, DON'T DO IT!
My husband ordered me Shari's Berries for mother's day as a surprise. They arrived on Saturday. I opened the box to find melted berries with the juices all over the inside of the box. The cheesecake trio was fine. The flowers in the bottom where wilted, broken and half dead with a pink mason jar rolling around crushing the flowers. I called customer service and I have to say she was excellent, friendly and very professional. She took the order number from the side of the box and shipped me a new complete order, berries, flowers, and cheesecakes. Again the cakes are fine. But the berries... What a mess and same story, these are in worse condition than the first order. One rotten, juice everywhere, and all 6 were just a crumbled sticky mess, and the flowers... same thing. Wilted torn leaves pounded by a rolling mason jar. So Listen guys and gals spend your money some place else. A bouquet and a box of chocolates from the drugstore would be better. PROMISE!
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
