I dealt with Beezid successfully or about a year. Then in Aug 2016 I stopped receiving items I won. I submitted several support tickets with zero response, and calls are sent to the automated line for 4+ hours and still no response. They must be going out of business, so stay away.
Please do NOT f... k around with this $#*!! They will still your card information and charge it elsewhere as it has already happened to me. Other then that, the bid site itself is a piece of $#*!. Totally NOT legit. Don't waste your time and money!
I really don't want to give beezid even one star. First they didn't give me my items for over two months... I then asked for a refund and they said sure, in 5-10 business days... it's been a month! Now no one can contact them! I'm looking into possible legal actions.
After joining Beezid.com, I made a bid that I thought was reasonable and later got a call from my coach, pretty much telling me that I did not understand the process and policy. Beezid carries a lot of very cool items; not just junk. But, the bids are more expensive than competitors and the real auction occurs in the last 4 seconds that the item is up for auction. Some people have done well and I would add that the count down to the end of the auction gives one a chance to time when they want to start getting involved in the bidding fray.
I love penny auction sites but not this one. I have 6 items owed to me from May and they gave me the run around for months. I finally spoke to someone who said they were having problems and way behind in shipping.
I spoke with many other users and everyone is having the same problem. Why in heck do they continue to take peoples money knowingly that they cannot ship the product, I think this is intentional fraud and we should hold the owners personally responsible. Also, they are no longer advertising on google... hmmm
If you are also having this issue I suggest you write a review so more people don't get hurt. We will be in contact on the forums to discuss a class action suit. I understand sometimes companies fall behind but 4 months is a long time and I am very angry that they continue to run auctions, take peoples money when they cant ship the product. They must be stopped!
It is best site and looking very good. So i am very For my work as a sponsorship seller, this is definitely a must-have resource! Receiving email blasts is also a great benefit. When I am on the road, the information happy i doing work this site...
OMG! I am so mad! Total scam! Because when you sign up they charge even if you haven't bided! And I read some (2) reviews that had a <3 like out of like 1 million and they said "You have to use strategies" strategies by but! I tried the service call total butt heads! Didn't help at all! I spent 170 dollars and I only bided 5 times! And the things I "Won" haven't even came yet. And I played in January of this year. Then I called! They said: Oh it's coming...(Hung up) #BUTTHOLE
Surely un-believable. Seeing the ad on TV made me stop and think. After signing up and spending TWO of my ten free bids, It was very entertaining.
It didn't take long to see that this was the largest scam I had ever seen. If the people actually bidding on this crap are really living, then I am sure to have a long adn healthy career online. " Buy bids " Then click them away. LOL!
And get this, they auction bids. $ 70 worth which ended for $ 54.00. That poor sucker just spent $ 54 to bid on something he will never get. LOL!
I am seriously looking to start a website like this for myself, HOWEVER. You will buy your bids and maybe, maybe just get lucky and get to buy the item for twice as much as retail price, LOL! LOL! LOL!
I feel bad for those who lost there money on this, I figured this out in TWO free bids, imagine if I had taken $ 100 to figure it out.
Michigan Steve
Waste of money, poor website set up, horrible customer support. Site set up allows for customers registering to unintentionally purchase bid packages. Don't try to ask customer service for help you won't get anywhere. They pacified me on the phone stating they will credit my beezid account th e 70 dollar accidental purchase, it never happened. So i decided to try and play. Essentially ended up throwing away 70 dollars. Waste of time and money
Scam. I know someone who worked there. It's really bad. They are taking your money and laughing at you. Just throw it in the fireplace if you want it to go faster and never see it again. Do not sign up for this. You have better things to do with your money like pay bills, eat, buy things that you actually need, travel, buy a house, etc...
After having spent a lot of time on penny auction sites, I have concluded a few things that you need to know:
1. You have to pay for bids, but Beezid bids are the cheapest. This means more bids for your money, more action with those bids. Con is that everyone has a lot of bids. Making it highly competitive.
2. Learn the levels. New users should not bid on anything that doesn't have the cherry icon unless they want to be eaten alive.
3. The BEEZID store. This thing is amazing. People win auctions and then flip their wins in the store. This is the entire reason I'm on Beezid and not any other PA site. The deals on the store are very good and sometimes great... If you're fast.
To sum it up: Beezid is a good penny auction site. They have more features than any other one I've seen to date. The store is where the smart shoppers go. Yes, you can try your luck at winning an auction but if you want to just go get a good deal with no strings, cash in on their store. 4 Stars.
Well, It seems to be many disappointed people; however, one out of 20 gave it 5 stars, and said "be patient and you can win". The remaining 19 recipients gave beezid.com only one star. I may join as it is older than dealdash.com. Dealdash has nothing I want, but you do!
JUNK! You will NEVER be able to outbid a person that has time and lots of bids. We invested the minimum ($27) to see what it was all about and finally "won" a roadside kit worth $16. After 6.99 shipping, i could have purchased at least 2 of these retail. Just glad to have a little something and glad to be done with it. SCAM!
I have read all of these negative reviews on Beezid. If you want to win on beezid you need to do your homework. You can't just buy $200 or $300 in bids and start bidding on a TV or IPad 2 and think your going to win. I tried that and it didn't work. There is skill involved. I have won over 20 items in the last 4 months and received them all. And yes I am one of those people that has payed retail price on a few of my wins but overall I have saved about 60%. There are a few people on the site that have more money than sense and will pay 2 or 3 times the retail price so watch out for those guys.
If there was an option for a negative 0 star, I would have picked that. I literally would have been better off throwing the money out the window of my car! Oh, & then I started getting calls from sales people trying to get me to spend more wasted money. What a joke!
I agree with all of the negative reviews I have read. Gail M. Hit it right on the mark about the difficulties of filing a complaint. Not only is Beezid a Canadian company, but they are based out of Quebec... which has a totally different legal system than the rest of North America.
They have what are called Cherry Auctions", which are supposed to be only for new members to learn the ropes and not have to go against veteran bidders, that is not true. Many veteran bidders have been allowed to buy back thier cherries for a high price. This gives them a distinct advantage over new users. Misleading and dishonest are just a couple of words to describe that practice.
Shipping sucks... especially for Canadians... you might win a TV... but actually getting that TV is unlikely. You will get a gift card instead. And you have to check those gift cards right away... I have received more than one gift card with an empty balance.
Stay far far away from this site.
It's just like most everyone else has stated... stay away!
By the end of the day I am out $410.00... losing bid after bid after bid... to bots no less. If you have money to burn... great site! You want to make a living with auctions... NEVER EVER beezid.
Bids are too expensive especially since you usually have to bid a few hundred times to actually win something. I spent $40 on 50 bids, I even followed the strategies. It's fun if you like gambling though.
Received over 500 items without much trouble. Shipping is slower then usual right now. The people there work hard to keep things fresh. They value the business from new members more then veterans. The try to keep up with the orders but get behind. The site is honest and I believe they do the best they can to fulfill all orders. The items for bid are repetitive and a lot are useless so it's easy to spend money only to win items you would not have even thought about buying at the store. It is not a scam but can seem like it when you spend bids and don't win. The site has shipped me everything I have won (over 500 items) with only 1 mistake so I can't complain.
Simple scam. If the item costs them $200 and it sells for $20. That means they collected 2000 bids which they sold for an average of $0.70 each. They get $1,400.00 for a $200 item. This isn't an auction, you don't pay to bid in an auction. It's just a scam to Jack up pricing. With the evidence of bot bidding, and their seemingly dishonest business model, I would stay away.
Answer: Whe I signed up there was NO mention of buying bids. My oly saving saving grace was filing a fraudulent charge on your card You will have to close the card, but it is worth it. I don't know how long ago you made the acct, but i would get on the phone with the bank first thing tomorrow and handle this. They are crooks, but you have to learn your options whe you make the mistake of signing up with them. I hope this helps.
Answer: Yes they will with out notice
Answer: I lost a lot of money (thousands) on this website because I obviously fell for it hook, line and sinker and, of course, your coach will keep getting you to buy bids until you are broke, just like in any casino. That is all these sites are is gambling. The house always wins, them being the house and if you do win something, most of the cheaper stuff is just that Cheap. Looked on there the other day and they actually had paper towels to bid on. I don't know how they get away with calling this an auction site. I have been to plenty of auctions and if you don't win the bid, then you don't lose your money unlike here. When you first sign up they will make sure you win and then it's downhill from there. They change the rules all the time to suit themselves. And you will never convince them that anything is wrong, they won't give you back 5 bids--too greedy. My advice is to get off the website and don't look back. They will start calling and not let up! The last time I posted here, I heard from them the next day and they asked me to take my comments down--if they are so legitimate why would they do that? Needless to say, I didn't.
Answer: Most of the bids only cost. 01 -. 03 -. 07 depends on how you buy bids... You can see the average cost of the "winners" bids when the aution closes over on the right side of the screen... YES the same bidders are in there most all the time, so called power bidders... Yes they use the AUTO bid function, YES some people have said they feel like some of these bidders are "FAKE" computerized bidders that Beezid uses the program to build up the price of an item. After all that is how Beezid makes their $$... MY advise is to be very cautious, you will never get wins of value compared to the amount of $$ you spend to buy bids... Their "Coaches"... their job is to talk you into buying more bids and spend more of your money... that is their job... and they have a way of talking to make you think they are really "Helping" you to bid smart! It is BULL!
Answer: In your question you asked,"Why is everyone giving you bad reviews?" Who is "you"? Who are you referring to? This is just a site that warns people about fraudulent encounters with a broad range of Companies. Please be more specific with your question or just be smart and read all the reviews and take it how it is. Sorry I couldn't answer your question, but if you're planning on being another victim for Beezid to rip off, that's your choice. We just try to stop people from being ripped off by these so called Companies.
Answer: DON'T BID AND STAY OUT OF BEEZID THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
Answer: It it walks like a duck...
The overall reputation of the company is severely tarnished by numerous customer complaints highlighting a pattern of deceptive practices and unmet promises. While some customers initially found value in winning items, the majority express frustration over unfulfilled orders, lack of communication, and difficulties in obtaining refunds. Concerns about the legitimacy of the bidding process and claims of the site being a scam are prevalent, leading to calls for legal action among dissatisfied users. The company's customer service approach appears inadequate, characterized by long wait times and unresponsive support, contributing to a negative sentiment among its clientele.
