I typically use Bare Necessities to purchase bras since they have a big selection and I can find what I need. Along with that, anytime I needed assistance with a question, from the online chat, to a phone call, or an email, I have gotten excellent customer service every time. That's pretty amazing these days! I just contacted them about an order I placed shortly before I am supposed to go out of town. They changed the address for me and made everything so easy! That might sound small, but it's not. Try doing that with some other companies! Lol They care about their customers.:-)

This company is a joke. Easy returns? I don't think so! I've had to return twice now and each time they charge $6.95 to ship back. Already cost almost $15.00 just to ship I'll fitting bras back! NO THANK YOU. Last time I'll shop on this website. They're products don't fit correctly.

I ordered 6 different underwire bras and was so excited when they finally arrived. The quality or lack there of was very disappointing. Very little support, the material seemed very cheap and the cups had wrinkles in them and you could see them through the shirt. In my opinion they were Wal Mart quality at best. Needless to say I'm returning all of them! If I have ANY issues returning these bra's that I paid oner $300.00 for I WILL contact the BBB!

I ordered two bras from this site unfortunately they did not fit, I emailed 5 times and have yet to have A response, I also tried posting my negative review and that has not showed up on their site. I am absolutely never ordering from there again, the lack of customer service is pathetic! So I am stuck with 2 items. I can not use.

Tip for consumers:
If I had know the lack of customer service I never would have ordered, most reviews on the site are positive with a few negative ones, which is not unusual but I had no luck with gettting any response from this company when all I really wanted was my money back.

Sent me the wrong size, returned it, to get the correct size, they sent me the wrong size again. I asked for a refund- they insist on store credit- even though it was their mistake. Spending half a day trying to get problem resolved.

I returned an item and they gave me a voucher, but it was for one day only. I have yet to replace the item or get my money back. It's been two weeks. Customer support email never goes through and you can't get anyone by phone. Always a busy signal. I will never Buy from this company again!

I have ordered once from them with no issues. I was requested to fill out a survey for 30% off which I did. When I came to order, this 30% DID NOT apply to about 8 brands. Their constant emails are misleading as well about all their offers. If you are a small person who can wear just about any bra you perhaps can find some good deals. However if you are looking for a particular bra you most likely will be out of luck.

I placed an order and never received my package. According to their tracking #, my package was delivered and was dropped in the lobby of the building, where anyone has access, and was stolen. I was trying to contact their customer service for 2 days with the question of where is my package and why it was not delivered to my apartment and their response was that they are not responsible for the delivery. Any replacement will be dropped in the building again! Very rude and unprofessional! BE AWARE!

Bras are good quality. It's a shame they make you pay to return item and then you never get your refund! Had to dispute it with my bank!

I received 3 bras and all 3 did not fit. I went to the website to set up an email voucher. Never got vouchers or confirmation. Called *******272 and someone answered and told me I needed customer service. First, I could receive a $100.00 free merchandise voucher. I said " no" and I was hung up on. This company clearly does not want to exchange their products.

0 stars. BN could avoid these poor reviews by being straight with their customers and their product descriptions. Instead of gracefully refunding my money when they could not fulfill an exchange, they "credited" my account without my approval. Having received a faulty product in the first place and paying for shipping twice, this is just insulting. Just refund my money and do not reply with a long apology saying your experts can help me find the right product. I will not be manipulated or condescended to.

Bought a single Pour Moi tankini on 6/10, still not shipped at midday on 6/14 - website literally advertises 2-day shipping on the top banner. Order number BN******* for proof if you'd like.

Customer service girl (Stephanie) was anything but helpful. Took her about five minutes to even respond to me. No greeting, no apology, nothing. So guess who canceled? I'll edit this when I get my refund. God what a waste of time that was.

I am so DONE with companies' broken promises. Covid gave everyone the excuse they wanted to be lazy and some of them are taking it to the max. I'm in the state w/ some of the highest and lengthiest restrictions - we had the governor that sent the sheriff department to blockade in their home the couple that wouldn't quarantine at the very beginning of all this - and THEY have resumed normalcy, so what's your excuse?

Let me reiterate this: I bought it on the 10th. Four days later, after the 2-day shipping claim, it's still untouched. That's beyond unacceptable when you have MY money in your account. It's called a sales transaction and all terms are to be honored or the sale is void. I honored my end and paid you for the product, why on god's green Earth do you think you get to abandon your end of the deal AND keep my money? I don't think so, Tim. Companies that break the most basic of promises do not deserve to be in business. Get your houses in order, people.

Their fit match doesn't work / the bra sizes they sell don't match the same sizes sold in other stores. It is also a headache to return items.

Most online retailers make returns simple, free and fast - this company makes it cumbersome and you must pay!

I've just reported this company to BBB because they are completely LYING about having an exchange policy. Anyone whose worked in retail knows an exchange means, monies from an original purchase, is being applied to a new purchase. BN has you return items at your own expense, waiting up to 1/2 a month for your money to be returned to you. While they conduct a new transaction for the correct item. That means, you have paid 3 times, before you can get your money back. This is NOT an exchange, but, 2 transactions, plus, a shipping charge. Unethical. I will never order from them again. So many different, and better options available. Don't bother with this company.

We make every effort to ensure that it is crystal clear to our customers in multiple places on our site that exchanges are done via a two-step process, and it certainly is not untruthful or misleading in any way. A return and a repurchase IS an exchange, just with separate financial transactions. The sole reason that we suggest a return and a repurchase is simply so that when a customer needs to exchange for any reason, they do not have to wait until the return parcel is shipped back to us and then processed by our warehouse staff before we ship out a new item. This can often take a substantial amount of time since the carriers that ship back returns to our warehouse often experience unforeseen delays that are beyond our control, and many customers require their subsequent shipments to arrive in a more expedient manner. Customers who need a different size, color, or style of a garment can simply place a new order for the item they would like instead so we can get that item to them in a timely fashion. This is common practice among the vast majority of e-commerce retailers, and is in no way unethical. There is no reason at all that anyone would be paying three times, so if there is any remaining confusion that we can assist with clarifying for you, our Customer Service Team would appreciate the opportunity to explain the process in greater detail and will be happy to assist you with returning one garment and processing a new order for an alternate selection. As mentioned in the response to your BBB complaint, your return shipping fee has already been waived so that you will not incur any cost to ship back something that you are not completely satisfied with. We go above and beyond to provide outstanding service to each and every customer that shops on our site, and will always endeavor to ensure a positive experience and complete satisfaction.

I am only leaving 1 star but only because I have to, otherwise I would leave zero. I placed an order for almost $500.00 and returned over $200 worth of clothing, requesting a RETURN. I was notified by email that I was given a VOUCHER. I called to get the refund and was told that the finance department would contact me in 3-4 days to give me options. The return policy stated any products returned within 30 days was eligible for for refunds, I sent these items back the very next day. I will never shop with this company again, and I will be leaving reviews on every forum. The customer service for this company is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. The lady constantly interrupted me and rudely dismissed me several times. She eventually ended up hanging up on me. Her name was Ollie? I really hope the call was recorded and this person was fired. She does NOT have the necessary skills to be dealing with the public.

Just to clarify, when a return is initiated on our site, the customer has the option to select if they would like their refund issued as a credit to their original form of payment, or in the form of a voucher for future use. In the instance that an option is selected by accident, we can always reverse that, and have no problem doing so. Upon review of your order, I do see that your voucher was reversed to a refund as per your request. We have been dealing with extremely high call volumes during the current pandemic situation - otherwise we would have been able to process that request within just one business day, but in this case it did take a few days due to increased demand. After placing an order at BareNecessities.com and paying for overnight delivery, at a great rate of only $5.00, it does seem it was too good to be true. I ordered on a Wednesday and was guaranteed By Friday. They never shipped they package and kept lying when I called. They said since they could not make the timeline they will refund. This is NOT what I wanted, I wanted my merchandise. I said OK to deliver until Sunday I leave for a trip on Monday. They would not accommodate and really had no sense of care.

My order was delivered to someone else. The Bare Necessities tracking page said "If you have not received the item in 3 days, contact us." I did so only to be asked if I had contacted FedEx. I replied that I had followed THEIR instructions. Then asked, "WHY HAD I NOT CONTACTED FEDEX?"
This crazy run around is still going on. I have spoken to Bare Neccessities Customer Service twice. I will not be calling again. (I ONLY gave any stars because I had to in order to publish my review);

Awful company and customer service. Ordered leggings two weeks ago and still haven't received them. Had to send 3 emails and call. When I called, I was told my the woman that "I'm not qualified to help you." Are you kidding me? She then said they don't know where the pants are!

Now I have to dispute with my credit card company. I will never buy from here again!

I ordered two items from this company. An email was sent for order confirmation. Yet, the items were listed as backorder. This was not specified in the initial purchase. I then proceeded to call and email order cancellation. Note, this is literally a few hours time span. Guess what! I have yet to be refunded the amount. It is now 3 days later! Another call was placed to discuss the matter. The representative states that the amount should not have been taken off my debit card. Price is charged once the item ships. They do not know why this happened. I have had to file a dispute. Which may take upwards of 45 days. All of this nonsensical BS for a product that I ordered and canceled within a few hours. Unbelievable!

Ordered a MONTH ago. Had to do an exchange for size (which they charge for). Sent exchange back on 2/17. STILL Not here. Order has been delayed THREE TIMES. They use FedEx Smartpost which is basically the slowest possible way to ship something so - there you go. Tracking info reveals my parcel sitting in various cities for days at a time. Reached out to CS to get some help and they stopped responding after sending a mildly generic 1st email saying they could offer me free shipping on my next return. Not helpful at all. I would never refer anybody to this website. Order somewhere else - seriously.

I've ordered at least 4 different times within a 30 day time span. Shipping and delivery takes forever! I've returned one garment using my own FedEx account for shipping. Make sure you read their return/exchange policy. I have found their exchange system is lousy. I made a purchase via Gift Card however I was unhappy with the garment and returned it. The exchange was more than the original item. They would not permit me to pay the difference with another form of payment which did not make sense to me. So now I have to wait for the purchase amount to be returned to the Gift Card or select something at the original price point. I decided for a full refund (glad I kept the gift card) and will spend my money elsewhere. BARE NECESSITIES will never get my business again.

I will never buy from them again. I received an ill fitting bra of poor quality. I could have bought 2 better bras at target with no shipping costs for the price I paid for their poor excuse for a bra with no support. It was no where near true to size but I, the customer, have to pay to return it. I've actually lost money trying this company out. Never again! Don't buy from them. It's not worth it. Go somewhere else.

I know my bra size. I actually ordered a smaller bra because customers said the cup ran larger than a true size. The cup was still too big. It had no padding at all and no support. What kind of strapless bra has no push up, no support, and no padding? It was a cheaply made bra and I will not be giving your company a second chance because if I don't like the bra, I'll have to pay again for shipping to exchange it. Stop charging customers for shipping to exchange their merchandise and maybe then I'll give you another chance.

I placed an order on March 16 for 2 bras. I paid for the extra few dollars for shipping. I received them on March 20, but one of the bras was the wrong size. I returned the bra on March 21, marked up the receipt for exchange. On March 30 I received an email saying that I have been 88 and then will be charged when the new one shipped. Well, I've been charged the 88 when nothing has shipped (says it won't ship until April 5) and no credit has appeared. I spoke to the customer service rep and she informed me that I reordered it the day I called to ask questions about the exchange, March 20, which I clearly did not or I woul have the bra by now. When I asked to talk to a manager or supervisor, she said no one was available to speak to and that was it. All she could do was escalate the problem. So, at this point, little over 2 weeks later, I don't have the right bra and have been doubled charged for it. Horrible horrible customer service and shipping. I stopped using BN a few years ago because of this same problem. I was hoping it was fixed. Apparently it's still the same terrible service. I will never buy from this company again and will be sure to leave this review everywhere I can.
