I ordered a banner for my daughter's 21st birthday party with 15 of her friends. I asked to approve the proof before sending it. Unfortunately my father in-law passed away the following week. Between the wake and funeral I forgot to approve the proof in time for the party. I was able to approve the proof with three days until the party and included a note that if the item can't get to me in three days, wich I doubted, to cancel the order. They disregarded my note and shipped the banner 5 days after the party. I asked for a refund. THey offered a $33 credit. I spent $135 on the banner.
My order got hung up in the system. They had to call me to get things moving again, then I was double charged (first charge was stuck in pending status with the credit card company, never removed. Still says pending. I'm assuming that will time out).
Order tracking is not functional. Order list shows only part of an order. Can only find an order using the full two part order number found in the email sent. No way to find a tracking number on the site.
In my case the tracking number was invalid at UPS
We ordered Magnets for our delivery vans. This was the first time we ordered from banners.com. We WILL be ordering again, when needed Matt has gone over and beyond to make us happy... Good pricing, options, designs and customer service.
Thank you so much
They provided the worst quality piece I have ever seen! Completed pixilated even though I submitted a professional high res image. When I questioned the quality, they told me to back up until it looked clear! They refused a refund and only offered a reprint of the same thing if I paid more money! I would highly advise against this company. They should not be in business!
Banners.com made a mistake on my order by misspelling a word. I had to reorder and they would only cut the shipping in half. I had to pay for the rest. I'm very unhappy with Banner's.com and will NOT use them again. Very poor customer service!
Ordered a double sided custom flag and was really happy with the quality of the flag and shipping speed. I started with a small image, and the process made it very clear what kind of image resolution and size I needed for them to work with. I was able to manipulate the image to the right requirements and then see what the flag would look like before ordering. Only complaint is that the proof is so small. Everything else about this order was a dream.
Back in the 80s and 90s printing a banner was ridiculously expensive. Times have changed; on Banners.com you can order a high quality 6 foot full-color banner for as little as $30. I've found Banners.com to be reliable and the quality to be good. We used them for a couple trade shows and were happy with the results. They also sell a number of other types of signs for conferences as the like which are also reasonably priced. The turn around is reasonably quick although depending on where in the country you're located the shipping time varies a bit.
I had a banner with some high resolution graphics printed. The first printing it came out blurry. I spent considerable time and communication with the owner figuring out what was wrong with the printing. After a week of trouble shooting the problem I sent him new pictures and he printed it again, the the result was the same. Fuzzy pictures. They do seem to be rather fast but I wouldn't trust them printing anything with photos.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I ordered a banner 3 weeks before my event. I noticed a shipping label was printed After 3 days but item never shipped. I inquired when it would be shipped and received a less than nice response. I called and spoke to a manager that told me he'd look into it and return my call. That was a week ago and I never received a call back. I again inquired and was told the postal service was totally unreliable. I was also given an option to purchase another banner and pay for express shipping and hope they second banner got to me in time. Customer service is terrible to non existent. I would never order from then again and wouldn't advise anyone else to either.
I called and message right in a second when I found out wrong address, she told me she got my new address and will update for me.The package still send to wrong address, I called them, they told me I can"t correct my address when order approved, even just next second. But this is not the first beginning what they told me. I asked if they can send me the label to my new address, they said they will think out it then get back with me. 3days already, I haven"t hear any news from them. I used to buy a lot of banners from them, not anymore.
This was my second time ordering from this company. First time... Awesome... Second time... Absolutely awful. I ordered 6 full color sports banners for my son's cross country team. I submitted artwork, approved proofs. What I got back was something less than full color. The appearance was washed out, and looked like a Twilight Movie promotional poster (pale vampires). I alerted the company right away and was told that "sometimes there is a slight variation". This was way more than slight. After talking to local company, and submitting my artwork to them they were frankly surprised another company could do such terrible color matching. The manager of banners.com got back to me, and basically told me that they don't guarantee their work or their color, and that they could reprint the banners at "half" the cost (which I would pay). This would also be a lengthy process of "color matching" which they would now give me for "free". Um... Shouldn't you do that anyway? This is not how you do business folks. If you are printing color banners you better be sure they are at least closely matched to original files. It all worked out in the end. I submitted a credit card dispute (which I won), and got some great banners from a local company. Shop local!
Had a banner made for school. Customer service was spot on. Banner was as described. Turnaround time really fast. Overall great experience.
We were pressed for time attempting to get a banner for our event. We decided to go with banners.com. That was probably the worst decision and experience of the entire planning process. I personally spoke with 2-3 different representatives who were all very pleasant. I spoke to the reps over a period of a few days and ended up ordering the banner based on the proof. The proof looked amazing and was exactly what we needed. The problems began when the banner arrived. The banner arrived damaged and in the wrong color. Our company colors are royal blue and deep grey, I made this very clear to the reps. During the process of ordering the banner, I sent the hex color codes. We were extremely clear that the colors needed to be as close as possible. The banner we received was blue and lavender, it was also ripped in several places. The box was crushed in the middle and falling apart. We were unable to use the banner, so immediately we sent it back with the delivery company. Shortly after sending it with the driver, I called banners.com to inform them. The CSR Chris was very surprised and helpful. He forwarded me to his boss, Carter. Carter's attitude is best described as sour. He tried to "scold" me for sending it back without taking pictures. I explained to him the interaction happened very fast and I didn't think to pull my camera out. We immediately saw the box and asked the driver to wait for a second in case he needed to take it back. He couldn't wait very long, so we hurried and gave it back to him. As I said before the box was crushed, the design was LAVENDER, and the banner itself had 3-5 medium holes in the MIDDLE of the banner. We were so disappointed we just sent it back. Once I informed my boss that Carter basically said "oh well nothing I can do", my boss disputed the charges on her card. We waited a week and called back, as the funds still have not been refunded. First I spoke to another CSR who again was pleasant and then I spoke to Carter again, who was just as helpful as the holes in the banner were. He offered store credit of $400+, or half of what we paid back. I informed him, neither was an option as we'd paid full price and would like the full price back. He offered to transfer me to another director, and I accepted. I then spoke to Paul. I am not sure if this company is filled with condescending "upper management" or if it was just my lucky day. Paul was just as helpful as Carter, not helpful at all. If you want to be yelled at, and talked over paul is your guy! Please save yourselves and order from Vistaprint, this was a nightmare.
Answer: I sent a message to customer service over the weekend when they were closed. They responded promptly Monday morning.
