I complained about this same employee directly to the Vet the last time she was rude and non-helpful. The same issue occurred before, my appointment was cancel.
I NOW BELIEVE SHE IS CANCELING MY APPOINTMENTS OUT OF SPITE.
Along with this, the process is to call/leave messages, however, she is NOT calling or confirming my appointments.
I was there today again for an appointment made 7-6-2022, and she told me it was canceled with I got there.
I would now like to start the process of CANCELING MY BANFIELD ACCOUNT FOR ALL DOGS as THIS ISSUE WAS NOT ADDRESSED AT THE TIME I COMPLAINED EARLIER THIS YEAR DIRECTLY AT THE VET.
I've been with Banfield for years, and this one employee just ruined it all.
Sent 2 different emails to the CORPORATE OFFICE contact me to discuss and CANCEL my account, to no avail.
The last formal complaint, this specific vet gave one of my dogs MANGE, and ever since then, I have NOT dropped any of my dogs off for any comprehensive exams OR appointments.
I will say this first, the people who work at Banfield in Concord New Hampshire are excellent and very caring. However, any questions and concerns about your plan goes through corporate. We had a senior dog who needed a surgery. We took her to her check up and spoke to the vet about moving her up to the next level plan to help finance her operation. We thought about it and eventually at the end of the visit we agreed to sign up. Unfortunately our dog passed away about a week later. When I went to cancel the plan, I had to call corporate and speak to a representative. They said that even though her visit happened in the morning and we signed up for the next level plan after the visit, they still considered that visit included in her upgraded plan (yet no upgraded services happened during this plan). The cancellation policy is you pay for the services you have received, or you pay the balance left on your plan. Makes sense. But for our dog who passed away a week after we upgraded her plan, they said we had to pay $700 for the one visit that took place (mind you, that was before we signed up for the upgraded plan) or $900 to pay for the full year. If we hadn't upgraded her, her plan would have expired in November and we would have only had to pay $200. That I'm okay with. $700 or $900 for a plan that we legit never used is incredibly unethical and disappointing. They said that we signed the paperwork on that day which would encompass any services we received that day. It feels really $#*!ty to lose your best friend, and then to get a sucker punch like this immediately after? It feels like we have been taken advantage of and I will no longer be referring them to anyone. Go price out your local vets and support local businesses.
Never take your pets to banfield. They will kill your pets. They rip you off and cheat you about money. They get rid of good dr because they won't go along with how corpute they are and how they cheatowners. They killed our dog they put him on the wrong food for his kidney.
Then they want you to get on monthly plans and found it is scheme to get money. THEN WHEN U Quit them they claim you still owe more money.Our dog passed July 31 2022.
They never called to check on him. They never said to bring him back to check how was his condition.
So if you have pets never take them to Banfield or Blue Ribbon hospital your pet will surely die they work together and give them medication to kill them.
But God will have them to reap what they so.
Never miss treat animals. Especially dogs they are special. Our dog was so caring and lovable and sweet all our other dogs got along with him.
His brother really missed him he look for him daily.

My cat Ziggy died on June 23,2022. Yesterday morning, I checked my email and Banfield sent me a summary of the doctor visit that Ziggy supposedly had with their veterinarian on July 27,2022. How horrible is that, especially since I contacted Banfield immediately after Ziggy passed to cancel my plan and let them know Ziggy was gone. Addtionally, when I went to log in to the Banfield account Ziggy was no longer listed since I cancelled the plan. This is not to mention that because he passed before the yearly plan was up, I still owe them $161.00 because I did not bring him to the doctor enough to cover my costs. What's ironic about this is that I had to take my Ziggy to other veterinarians since they were alway short staffed and I would have to wait 1 to 2 months before I could get an appointment to see the veterinarian. They are the absolute worst.
First of all, know that it is an annual contract... They tell you that you can cancel the services whenever you want but you still have to pay for the 12 months.
If you love your pet, take it to another place, this place is only interested in getting money from you, each visit will have some amount to pay and they do not really care about the well-being of your pet.
The staff lacks professionalism and when you ask to speak with a more qualified person like a manager, you realize that he is not qualified to take responsibility for his position.
My dog being injured at this medical center. From June 2021 I have my insurance here and had no problem with my service until October and November when on both visits my baby was injured twice and traumatized( They cut his nails making them bleed) You always have to leave your pet with them for 5 hours but this time my dog was only 1 hour Which makes me think that they always left her nails bleeding, only that after 5 hours
When she picked her up, the blood was no longer visible.
We spoke with the staff to cancel our year subscription refusing to pay for my dog to be injured at this facility, we call and we sent emails but a hold was placed instead of cancelling the account.
Now I have a terrified family member and we had to pay $600 for months of services that are not going to be used. We had a true distaste for how the staff treated us and told us this was a Normal experience. The manager said " there is nothing to do about it because this is very common" this happen all time

LOL set up an appointment online for the FREE exam... The call me the week of the appointment to say the appointment I scheduled cannot be honored due to doctor being out of office. They offer to reschedule for a time when the free exam coupon has EXPIRED!
I was skeptical when I saw the offer of a free exam and now I see I was correct. LOL petsmart... just lost a customer forever.
If I could, I would rate Banfield with negative stars. Banfield killed my precious, bouncy, effervescent kitty and accepted ZERO RESPONSIBILITY for doing so. I won't go into details, simply because it's just too painful.
Mars Inc, yes, the candy company, owns Banfield. Both must be stopped. Please join me in signing this petition to stop the "Killing Field"...

My Dog is passed away because of Banfield Pet Hospital.
In November They did a blad test for my dog I call them 2 times to get results every time rudely answered if we see anything wrong we will call you.
On Christmas day my dog wasn't filing vell ve bring him to Central Hospital For Veterinary in North Haven CT.
They quickly start the process of emergency for my dog's life.
Thy contact Banfield Pet Hospital to get my dog health history when they receive blad test results what was don in November they were speechless what they see it they couldn't believe that Banfield Pet Hospital didn't do anything. My dog was already sick with Anemia back in November red blood cells were 22% Normal dog 35% to 55% everything below 35% is considered anemic.
In December at the hospital, they did a blood test and it was only 11% my dog was dying they did everything to save my dog but it was too late.
If Banfield Pet Hospital was acting in November my dog still around.
Only one explanation they didn't even look at test results they don't care about your pet's life.
If anybody reading this post don't try to save money on your pet's life and health. Bring your pet to a professional veterinary clinic.
Banfield Pet Hospital kill my dog.
I took my dog for routine blood work. She's 16 yrs old so my reg vet agreed with me that she no longer needed vaccinations. Banfield scared me into allowing the rabies vaccine by claiming she tried to bite them and if she does bit anyone, she will be put in quarantine for 2 weeks, do I really want to be apart from her for that long, they asked? After her appointment was over and I paid the bill she totally freaked out about 10 min later, letting out a loud, long scream and then started dry heaving so I put her down. She vomited, defecatef and urinated simultaneously. The vet took her back and I don't want to get into it but they basically said she was dying and on top of the original invoice of $300, they had already accummulated another $300 in charges and were then asking me if I wanted them to resucitate if she died. It took me a minute to clear my mind but after I realized they were taking advantage of me, I demanded my dog back after paying the second bill. My dog was out of it for 2 days but then she was fine again. I don't know what they did to her but I'm so angry at them and at myself for trusting them with the care of my furbaby. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
I took my cat to Banfield Pet Hospital for second vaccination booster shot located inside of a PetSmart store in northern CA. I had made this appointment months prior after an initial first visit to this hospital for a first vaccination. I was offered their Banfield Pet Wellness Package at that time but declined and asked to pay as I go. The first vac visit required an exam and or office visit as well as the costs of medicines. I agreed to this the first time but also asked at that time if I would have to pay the exam fee again when I returned for the inexpensive vaccination booster shot. The answer was no I would not have to pay an exam fee for the next vaccination booster visit. Well that was a lie. When I was checking out from the second appointment the clerk billed me for the booster, dewormer, (which I didn't even ask for) and an office visit exam that never took place. This brought the otherwise $28.00 total bill to $135.00. I was pissed. I asked if they gave my cat a dewormer without my consent. They said yes. I just glared at them. I also asked about the added exam fee and the fact that my cat was inside the hospital for less than 10 minutes. I also pointed out as nicely as possible that I will not be paying for services unrequested such as the dewormer or the exam fee. The employee then went in search of the doctor. Then a very young Veterinary assistant came out and began to explain they had to examine the cat prior to vaccination and dewormer therefore the $54.00 dollar charge. I as calmly as possible told them that an employee assured me last visit that I would not have to pay the exam fee when brining the cat back for the booster and I also never approved any dewormer to be administered to my cat here ever at any time. They looked confused and befuddled then said "give me a minute" then went over and began talking to the desk clerk. They came back and said that it was a mistake and they would remove the deworming from my bill. I agreed. I then attempted to reduce the cost of the office visit or get it removed as a courtesy to me for the terrible service and misleading statements made by employees prior. They refused. I payed the amount they requested but I shall NEVER RETURN! :( Disgusted
I can not review about their service but can on their charges. They are in my view extremely expensive with any of their services. When I did calling around for something I needed for one of my pets they were the most expensive of all the vets I called.
We bought the annual "subscription" services for Banfield services. They have collected over $500 from us and we have yet to be able to utilize services. We are being told to drive 30-60 miles away from our home to have our dog's teeth cleaned when we have a Banfield outlet at our local Pet Smart. We were originally told we could use any of their locations, which was great since we travel between Northern and Southern California. But this is clearly not the case. We had an appointment that was a 40 minute drive from our house and when my husband got there he was told it was for an evaluation, not a "drop off" as the email indicated so we could actually get teeth cleaning services. Now we have to figure out how to cancel this non-service, service agreement.
I had a really positive experience last year and the year before, with another cat. Then, the Virginia Beach, Hilltop location went to absolute sh! T. I still haven't found a new vet. But the taking the pets into the back thing, wtf is up with that anyway? NO vet has ever done any of that before, aside from rare occasions, when they need to probably be a little rougher or do something possibly that would upset the owner to see.
When I had to put one of my beloved cats to sleep last summer, they gave me the third degree interrogation, doubting that I was telling the truth about her condition and diagnosis of cancer. Really? Why the f##k would I lie about it? They said the emergency vet THEY SENT ME TO, had not sent the record.
Why would I make this up you numbskulls? What kind of sick person would do that? Then I had to wait for them to get the records to verify what I was saying. Why? Don't you think my cat and I are suffering enough at this point? Thanks for making that horrible nightmare even worse, and grilling me further on this and that.
I suspect you probably just wanted to look for a way to run more tests or somehow make more money, when all I wanted to do was put my sweet baby to sleep and end her suffering. But no, you made me prove it you sick SOBs.
Then, one of my angel's last earthly experiences was being manhandled by strangers. They even cut her paw somehow putting in the IV, and denied knowing how that happened. She was bleeding pretty heavily too.
Then I took my other two there, this year, and things were an absolute nightmare. Plus they always basically force you to drop them off, only offering a regular appointment weeks away. Why? Because they charge more for those appointments, that's why!
The district manager was the only helpful person, and actual asset to this company. But in my opinion, why should I have to go to that level? Also it took a week or TWO for me to even reach her initially. Even the alleged manager of this place was rude as hell. Ugh, no way, never again Banfield.
I had been a happy Banfield client for over 10 years until the Mars Corp bought out every franchise. Its just horrible please bring your pets elsewhere. All they care about is the money. Not to mention that one of their Dr's Dr Karen Lingo falsified my pets vet records!
Banfield in Deptford, NJ KILLED my 6 year old Pomeranian, Missy by giving her oxygen she didnt need and stressing her out to the point that it killed her. Dr Sara Garrison and Dr Amber Karwacki DEFIED me when I told them NOT to stress my dog by giving her oxygen she didnt even need. I wanted my dog and was going to take her to my car to calm her down after they gave her oxygen without my knowledge or consent, then defied me when I told them NOT to give it to her, Dr Garrison brought me my dog for about a minute or less while I was trying to calm her down, then snatched her and said, you know what? I am putting her back on oxygen. 10 mins later, they killed her. She was still alert and walking and breathing on her own when she snatched her from me and put her BACK on oxygen KNOWING I did not want them to do that because she didnt need it and she had a heart condition and got very stressed from them doing it to her. I could have calmed her down. She was MORE stressed another day 6 months prior from a different doctor trying to do xrays. That dr didnt give her oxygen. She just gave her back to me and she calmed down and was ok. I could have calmed her down, but didnt get the chance thanks to Sara Garrison. My dog is DEAD because of them! She was not in a condition where she was going to die that day if they just would have given her back to me, she would still be alive. Both doctors are young girls in their early 20's and dont know what the hell they are doing!

I took my dog to Banfield because he needed his rabies vaccination and I was at PetSmart getting him groomed. They tried to sell me pet insurance right off the bat, instead of greeting me and my dog. My dog was taken into "the back" for the rabies shot, something I'd never experienced with any other vet. The vet came back into the room without my dog and said he needed to be dewormed. I trusted her - big mistake. My dog almost died and his liver is compromised forever.
Lesson learned: if you go to Banfield, get the name of the vet who will be seeing your dog and check his/her references and experience.
