Both good and not so good experiences with Marisota. Loved the shoes, had to return everything else.It seems like they called something size 12 but it's really 14 or 16. There is a charge for returns, and it took several weeks to see the credit.

Don't use Spokeo. You will be disappointed. The results (green checkmarks) that you see when your search is run DO NOT mean anything. For example, in doing a reverse phone look up, seeing a green checkmark by "full name" doesn't mean a name has been found. It just means a search was done. You pay to find out if the search found anything but maybe it found nothing. Either way, you pay. If you question Spokeo, you get a condescending email wasting more of your time.

Amazon delivers quickly and returns are SO easy. I dropped off a return at a UPS drop box at 6:30 pm and the very next evening my account was credited. Amazing.

Guthy-Renker has sent my account to a collections agency over NOTHING. I had been a faithful and happy user of Sheer Cover cosmetics for 10+ years. I was on a quarterly shipment schedule, the least-frequent available. As time went on, I used less and less product and it started to pile up. During a move, I was shocked to discover 12 un-opened packages of Sheer Cover. I called and canceled my account. Three months later, I get billed on my credit card for Sheer Cover. I called and they had no record of my cancellation. The product was already shipped so I was instructed to return the product when it arrived, and I'd be credited. Well, nothing arrived. I called and was told I was out of luck. I then opened a fraud complaint with my credit card bank and they got my money back... or so I thought. Then the bills and threatening letters from Guthy Renker started. About six months after I canceled the shipments, I received one in the mail, postage due! I was told by the Postal Service that I could refuse it, which I did. Then I received a bill for two shipments from Guthy Renker. I've called and written letters, all with no results. Now they've sent it to a collections agency. I will NEVER do business with Guthy Renker again. Is my money that I don't even owe them REALLY so important?

One good experience followed by three nightmare experiences. Items not received, customer service was rude, then they shipped to the wrong address. Cheap quality, off sizes. Things sure look nice on their website but beware, what you receive is not as it appears. Returned items still not credited to my account after 60 days.

I booked a roundtrip on United Airlines through the CheapO Air website. My return flight was canceled due to fog. The next flight was two days later. I decided to rent a car and drive the 7 hours home. I was told by the airport United agent to contact CheapO to get a refund. At first CheapO told me the refund would show up within a week, then another week, and another week, etc. I kept calling and writing but never got any money back from CheapO. I asked United to intervene and they said they couldn't. However, United was sympathetic. And did refund my checked bag fee of $25. First and last time I'll ever use CheapO Air.

This is a great website for personalized recognition items. I've been ordering from NameYourGift.com for about 5 years for my voluneer group. The items are inexpensive yet nice quality, the engraving is beautiful, and orders are fulfilled quickly. Great job all around!

Just like anything you buy online or at a physical store, do your research first. Cheap furniture is cheap furniture whether you buy it at Walmart or at Overstock.com.
I've found some great items at Overstock and had good results with customer service. I purchased bedroom furniture after reading reviews on other sites about the brand. I continue to enjoy the furniture 10 years later. The Worldstock items are unique. I've purchased some lovely costume jewelry, never had an issue.

Never had a bad experience with Zappos.com. Wonderful selection of items. The website is super easy to use. Returns are no problem.

Googlevoice works well and is free. I picked a local number and it rings on my cell phone. I then get a text message and a transcription of any voice mails sent to my email. The transcriptions are not perfect but there's a link on email to listen to the voicemail. Did I mention it's FREE?:-)

I would like to rate Netzero minus 5. About 10 years ago, Netzero was okay. Then over time the focus seemed to switch from making customers happy with great service to making themselves money by ripping off customers. For a few years, Netzero was a good solution for the area I was in. When better options came along, I cancelled Netzero. They continued to bill me. I called and cancelled again. Still got billed. BTW, you can only cancel over the phone!
SO after several months of phone calls, I don't know if my service is cancelled or not. They do not provide any confirmation. When you call, they accuse you of being a liar. I've reported them to my bank so my credit card will not continue to be charged. Very frustrating and a big waste of time and energy. The last time I called I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told there is no supervisor. When I insisted, my call was tranferred to nowhere and the line went dead.

I took my dog to Banfield because he needed his rabies vaccination and I was at PetSmart getting him groomed. They tried to sell me pet insurance right off the bat, instead of greeting me and my dog. My dog was taken into "the back" for the rabies shot, something I'd never experienced with any other vet. The vet came back into the room without my dog and said he needed to be dewormed. I trusted her - big mistake. My dog almost died and his liver is compromised forever.
Lesson learned: if you go to Banfield, get the name of the vet who will be seeing your dog and check his/her references and experience.

I like to look on the PetSmart website for dog supplies and then shop at the store that's close to home. I've ordered online a few times and been very happy with the services. My dog gets groomed at PetSmart. The local stores support charities in their communities so that adds more of a connection to where you live, even though they are a large corporation.

I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1999. The site is so much easier to use now! The biggest purchase I made was a car and it was the easier and best car-buying experience. As eBay has grown, they've made smart investments in technology, especially in information security. Yes, there are scams from time to time, but this is the real world and dishonesty can never be 100% eliminated. EBay is a great place to find whatever it is you're looking for from global sellers.

I've only ordered twice from Fab.com, but so far I'm pleased. My second order included several different "storage and organization" items for my home. The prices at Fab.com were less expensive than the exact same items on Amazon.com. I received the order all in one box, quickly, and the items exceeded my expectations. While I agree that some items seem over-priced, my experience with Fab.com is that quality costs a bit more and is worth it. If you want cheap, shop somewhere else. Plus Fab.com has some unusual and fun merchandise.
