I've worn it twice over a flannel shirt in sub-30 winter hikes and it's kept me warm. I appreciate the multiple pockets to store my phone, glasses, snacks, and walker. You need to take a light rain jacket if you expect rain in the higher elevations.
I was so happy with my BAERSkin hoodie I bought one for my brother. It is so versatile we wear it for work, hunting, fishing or whatever. Met up with my brother and his wife for lunch and we both laughed because we were both wearing our BAERSkins. Would I buy this again? Absolutely!

I bought two of these hoodies, one for my husband and one for my stepson, and they both love them! I probably could have bought the size smaller for both of them as they seemed to run a bit large, but overall, they are very happy with them.
I bought this tlfor my very fussy son as a Christmas present, not knowing whether he would like it or not. He loves it. He's a gadgets boy, has and carries all the latest gismo's wuth him and this jacket allows him to carry all his expensive tech with him concealed in his jacket. It's everything that's advertised I walked 5 miles every day and it's windy while I walk by the lake so it was pretty much windproof and it worked very happy with it
Bought the Baerskin as I am often outdoors... was good in the summer but the zip failed moving into autumn. Tried several times to contact, via both email and phone with no success. So now I have a product that i cant use

Waist toggles don't tighten down and hold very well. Pockets are kind of small if you have bigger hands. The Velcro doesn't hold that well on the wrists. Wore it to a late season football game in the Midwest, wasn't as warm or wind proof as advertised. Had to layer up.

All the pockets are great, my only complaint, I didn't wait until the newest came out. We got 2.0. Overall still great.
Ordered tactical hoodie. Wore it maybe 3 times. Plastic zippers are complete junk. Bottom of zipper came apart and I cannot zip the shirt closed. Customer service phone is non existent. You are on hold for 30 minutes and line disconnects EVERY TIME!

I am now entering the second winter season wearing my hoodie. It serves me well. All the seams have remained stitched. There are no threads hanging out. It is an attractive piece of outerwear that draws some positive comments.
The hood is way too large, have to wear a stocking hat for it to fit. The elastic hood drawstrings failed,had replace them with a cord.

Love all the extra pockets that are in the hoodie! Especially when going out for a hike you can pack snacks, drinks and some gear. It's very warm and makes a good thermal layer under a jacket on a cold day.
Zipper on the wrong side. This is not Europe how hard is it to fix this annoyance?

This particularity occurred simply because our hoodie was designed in Europe. The positioning of the zipper on the left side is a marker of all European men's clothing designs.

I love my Bearskin but do wish it was as warm as advertised. I love the fit, colors, and texture but I would be happier if it had cuffs with thumbholes. More windproof would help with the warmth factor. Love all the pockets too!

I am your typical freezing cold woman and I have every Patagonia, North Face,Carhartt, FatFace sweatshirt and this is the only sweatshirt I own that I can wear a tshirt under it and be perfectly comfortable in below zero weather and wind! I love this sweatshirt so much and I have washed it a few times and no pilling yet and I was concerned about the dog hair getting stuck but it is actually not bad at all.
