I set up a account a few days ago I ran out of chats so I purchased some more credits, the day after that my account was blocked by badoo stating they have had reports I have been breaking their terms and conditions, as this was a shock I contacted badoo for a response about this as to what I have allegedly done I know I haven't had any issues with anyone I have spoken to on there and I haven't sent any images at all nor do I have any inappropriate images on my profile.
When they did get back it was a generic message saying the same thing as when I discovered the account was blocked.
I also asked about the refund for the extra chats they said because I broke the terms I cannot have one. Now one of my concerns is they have not said what it is I have done I only had the account for a few days and it being blocked out of blue a day or so after I pay for extras seems fishy and now not being able to be sure if the subscription is cancelled feels like I have been done over this company needs to not exist it is 100% stealing from customers and when you ask for some answers they ignore you I will be seeking legal advice about this but for the people seeing this stay away it's a scam.
This is very bad and untrustble company.because if someone like another and you living and blocking thire accounts.
I have friends that use this site that are very close but their Profiles do not show up
WTF badoo?
Every time I try to message someone
They want money, or points, or upgrade
This site sucks

This app will not let you delete your account and goes against the TOS for both the Apple and Andriod app stores.
Once you see you want to delete your account the first few moments after you open it, there is no "delete" option. You have to go through their support team, who then aks you to send them sensitive information about yourself, like your government id, in order to "make sure" that it's really you trying to delete it.
The other option is to send them the date + time of when you registered your account, and even when you screenshot the email verification with the time + date attached they state that it "does not match their records". They really want as much sensitive information + data from you as possible
STAY AWAY AND REPORT THEM TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN
Hey Kelly,
Sorry to hear this. You should be able to delete your account by clicking on your settings in your profile> account settings> delete.
Unfortunately, if any of our users would like us to delete their account we will require a form of ID but this is to ensure that we are deleting your account and not some random persons! This is our standard procedure to protect our community. We only require the name, date of birth, and photo and are adamant about users covering the rest of their details for their protection.
We would need all of the details to be accurate to make sure that it is the correct account, we take our user's privacy very seriously!

I cannot believe the audacity of this app. I downloaded it and signed up for a free trial. Within the first hour I noticed a lot of unsavory people that there would be no way I would date so I deleted my profile. Not just uninstalled but DELETED. So at that point you would think I wouldn't get charged, well I was wrong. I got hit with a pending charge. Immediately contacted them, on October 4th. Somehow that charge got dropped. Then I got charged on the October 10, 11, 12, and 14th. My first email back from them, well it looks like you don't have an account is what they said. EXACTLY. Next email was can you show proof that you got charged, all the personal information that I didn't want to send but I did. Then I got a response of my email with my card information duplicated back to me. 10 days later I got a "Sorry for the delay...I can absolutely look into this for you. To help us locate the transaction, could you please let me know the following details?
- The last four digits of the credit card used to make the purchase
- The type of card used (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- The date of the transaction
- The card expiration date
- The name printed on the card" message. Mind you I've already done this.
So today another email. "I'm sorry for the delay in responding to you.
I've taken a look at this and can see that you you got lifetime premium as a promo deal.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else."
Uh yeah you can give me my money back. Lifetime premium? First off are you saying your giving me a lifetime premium for free or are you saying I signed up for it. The answer is no I don't want either. Just give me my freaking 36 something dollars back this is RIDICULOUS.
MOST RECENT email as of 1 hour ago. I got the what card did you use email. I have never dealt with a more scammy website app ever. I've already cancelled that card replaced it and contacted my bank. I hope you guys get sued.
Spam, they send mails to ALL your contacts without telling you...
But, it is free to use for the most part. So can't be too hard on them.
How is it that your site is full of scam artist? Cant you add some verification control method to ensure these people are weeded out?
Never give them your credit card details, as they will charge you even after you cancel the subscription. And 80% of female profiles are fake!
Hello BB,
Thank you for your review and I am so sorry that you feel this way about Badoo.
I can guarantee you that Badoo operates in a completely legitimate way - We would only charge an account if an active subscription was set up by the user.
To address your concerns over fake accounts, Badoo is free to sign up so unfortunately, some users may break our rules, we have a whole team that works hard to make sure we keep Badoo a safe and fun place to be. If you ever believe a user to be fake, I urge you to report them straight away and our 24/7 moderation team will look into the allegations for you.
I have private messaged you to look into the subscription issue for you.
I look forward to your response.

70%, at least, of all accounts is fake, pictures are stolen from other social media, I suspect Badoo for creating fake accounts, and misusing user data for financial profits. If you comment on fake messages and profiles, your account will be blocked, and not the fake ones. Stay away.
Hi there!
Thank you for your message.
Were very sorry you've had this experience with us and understand your frustration. However, we can assure you that fake profiles don't belong to Badoo: this is the reason why we have implemented features such as photo verification and have a team of moderators who investigate all the reports we receive and makes decisions accordingly. We'll never use users' data without their permission: it's unethical and we simply don't need to.
We hope this helps, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if there's anything else we can do for you!
SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE. THEY GRAB MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION. DO NOT REGISTER! IT IS A SCAM!
I AM FILING A REPORT WITH THE POLICE. THEY HAVE TO BE STOPPED!

Having tried all the major dating sites over the years, I can safely say that Badoo is the worst I've ever encountered. It's normal on the other 'swipe right/left' sites to receive 5-15 'matches' each day for a relatively average man; on Badoo I've received one in 14 days, and I'm not convinced she's even a real person. I think the issue is country-specific; Badoo has almost no active UK users, so most of the potential matches you are shown have been there long enough to be rated tens of thousands of times over the course of several years. They're no longer active, yet it pretends they are.
Badoo is also a scam site. Don't give them any card details; I decided to try out the £4.99 premium for a week, and literally the next click they had taken an extra £44.99 out of my account to buy credits (credits are required to do almost anything on Badoo - it's very money-grabbing). They do this by automatically signing you up to recurring billing, without actually telling you they've done so; one feature of recurring billing is 'auto top-up' when you fall below 200 credits. Because I had never bought any before, it instantly 'topped up' my balance. I recovered the money but it took several days. Even with premium, you don't get any of the features you'd get with the premium version of any other site.
I don't really understand why anyone would use Badoo. It has no unique functions or features, everything costs a small fortune and the site is set up to scam money out of people (I don't seem to be the only one - check dozens of other reviewers from whom Badoo has taken money without permission). They'll mislead you at every turn. At once point it claimed to have more members from my town than there are residents in my town.
Worst dating site I've encountered. I assume people from other countries have more joy, but don't waste your time or money in the UK.
Hi everybody,
As many others, I've been also scammed this week by Badoo. I wanted to suscribe to a Badoo premium membership for a week, but they charged me for the unlimited version.
Of course I wrote them politely a message to let them now and asking for refund. They just refused, which is completelety ILLEGAL (see below a link concerning the right of cancellation for any customer - you can cancel until 2 Weeks)
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/regulation/29/made
Problem with Badoo: there is no customer service existing! It means NO phone number, NO email adress, NO names. They want the people to give up, but they don't know me really well...
I think this kind of company has no place on Business market, they have dishonest business practices, and they have absolutely NO intention to improve it. What I recommend you it's just to conduct a legal action, and spread the word as much as you can all over social media (FB, forum, comparators, blogs,.) in every country, in order to let everybody know, how Badoo.com works.
Hope these info could help you.
Seems you can delete app and pics, but try to delete account; they don't make it easy, which is a clue!

I keep being charged 2.99. Never signed up for anything. Quite the scam. Literally being robbed and seeking retribution now

They allowed my profile to be hacked... Went to log in and got a message saying. Wrong password... Thought I'd typed it wrong... Did it again... Same message... Tried to do a password reset... Using forgot password feature... It then said my e-mail address was wrong... It wasnt... By now I'm getting annoyed... I'd been on the site for a long time so knew my details were correct...
I then complained to Badoo... And they said I'd broken some violation rule... What a load of rubbish!
I've always been polite to anyone I've spoken to on the site... And don't use rude words.
So how can Badoo explain that my password was somehow wrong... Reason... Because they allowed it to be changed... And I did'nt receive an e-mail to tell me it had...
So to me member/profile security on the site is'nt very good...
And the violation excuse was how they tried to deny it... Plus they did'nt even tell me what the so-called violation was either...
I did get this from them on... Wed 02/02/2022 16:08
Your account has been blocked
Badoo doesn't work if we treat each other badly, and some of our users have reported that you're breaking our Terms and Conditions.
That is certainly not the case...
But earlier... Wed 02/02/2022 12:17...
Welcome back to Badoo
Good to see you again, Nathan
Since your last visit a whole bunch of new girls in East of England have joined Badoo and would love to meet you.
Welcome back... I'd never left...
And how can of of been rude to anyone when I could'nt even log in...
I think the above more than proves that Badoo allowed my account to be hijacked...
The Badoo response to my review is rubbish... As this is all they keep saying...

I love this app, really helped me find a lovely girl, to spend some time with. Highly recommended specially if you are just looking for lovely time.
Answer: 99% are fake! When you engage with Badoo you expose yourself to fraud and rip off. Their "job" consists of making up fake profiles with stolen photos and reeling in gullible people. If you want dates and relationship, you may want to try http://J4Love.net This site has helped me and a friend of mine to meet many lovely women. My friend got married to one of them. I'm still undecided, but the site works. Don't waste your money on Badoo. What they do is try to get your money without providing any real service. You pay for talking with bots. You are buried in auto-generated messages and there are no real people willing to meet.
Answer: Hey Jahidul, Sorry to hear about this! If you could please send us a message with your registered email address or phone number, we'll be happy to look into this for you! Badoo Team
Answer: Hi Gunal! We work hard to keep a database of high quality real users, and our moderation team works 24/7 to spot any malicious profiles. Most of our users are really who they say they are! However, if you're still suspicious, we urge you to use the reporting feature to notify our moderators about a potential fake profile. Additionally, Badoo is completely free to use. We do have some additional features to increase your popularity, but they are totally optional. We hope this helps, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if otherwise!
Answer: Hi Peter, Please do reach out to us on social media@BadooHelp, and include the email address or phone number (including the country code) that you used to sign up so that we can look into this for you. -BadooHelp
Answer: Hey Stephen, Please contact us on@BadooHelp with your registration details and we can look into this for you. Our payment plans are subscription-based meaning they renew themselves once they have run out. Unlinking your card is not the same as unsubscribing. Hope this helps! -BadooHelp
