I have had the WORST experience EVER when I tried to move my cellular services to AT&T. The customer service lady I talked to on the phone first lied to me by saying I could move my phone number from my Verizon account without having the phone paid for. She mailed me the AT&T chip for the phone only to realize 4 DAYS later without my phone, which was deactivated because AT&T was trying to activate their chips in the Butte, MT store and could NOT get the number moved, which ultimately left me without my phone that I use for both personal and work! Now AT&T is calling, emailing and texting me wanting me to pay $305 for their services...that I NEVER even had functioning. Please everyone do not believe AT&T when calling the phone number to start using them.its a major scam!
Bought a new z fold 2. It got wet filed claim with insurance. Got replacement less than a month the replacement overheats when charging. Less than a month the replacement has to be replaced. They are telling me they can not because they don't have any and trying to force me to take a lesser phone. Still on hold been on hold over an hour can't get a clear english speaking person on the phone. I HATE AT&T! THEY WENT FROM THE BEST TO THE WORST VERY QUICKLY.
This company is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Their so called "customer service" is the worst. Customers in US are always routed overseas to people who are very hard to understand due mostly to heavy accents plus the fact that they speak so fast and quiet that it's usually impossible to determine what they are attempting to say. I've had many that lie about their names and then hang up on you when they don't know how to answer your question (which of course they know there is nothing you can do about it as no way to know who you actually spoke to). Unfortunately, I live out in the country and AT&T is the ONLY one providing service in this area. I'm considering selling my house and buying a house in a different area just so that I never have to deal with AT&T again. Can't believe ANYONE would voluntarily do business with this rotten company if they have another choice. My wish is that the CEO gets the same horrible service as customers do so they can feel what that's like…problem is the CEO probably has someone other than AT&T for their services!
So first off nick is awesome super friendly and easy going he helped us with phones and watches loved how great it was. However the manager is absloutely astounding nya is the greatest manager ever not only did she call ALL the austin area stores to find us the phones we wanted but SHE DROVE TO TWO DIFFERENT STORES! To pick up the phones on her own time and gas i am beyond greatful she is just such a breath of fresh air we absloutely will be back!
After hours on the phone with Mark CM0864 and him attempting to transfer the call to the mobility team because he was unable to help with all the charges they charged me on my bill incorrectly. Not only did he waste my time going through all my concerns but he tried to pass me off without helping me because you could tell he was upset that I told him it was not my fault he could not find the notes of the previous promise the employee did since he obviously did not do his job right otherwise there would not be all these additional charges incorrectly on my account. I spoke with the manager Joseph JM239K and he credited my account partial of the charges that were charged incorrectly although since he did not see notes from representatives at the store he could not credit the other charges. This to me is an insult as if I were lying when on the website itself it explains what I should me charged. They have not only no knowledge as to the services but were of no help. They use blatant false advertisement and trick you into obtaining their service with promises that they later are not able to fulfill.

2 weeks ago today AT&T came out to install my new Fiber Internet service. Tech finished the job and the service wasn't working yet due to a cable issue down the street. He said it would be fix in a few hours and he'd come back and finish. Never heard from him again. Next day I called AT&T and they promised someone would be out to complete the work - nobody showed up. On Wednesday I escalated and was told there are no Supervisors to handle my request. Friday I called to cancel the service and was transferred to the Customer Loyality line and was promised that a tech would be out first thing on Saturday morning between 8-10. At 11am nobody showed up. Called again and was told they would be out after 2:30 - again nobody showed up. I filed an FCC complaint. The following Wednesday I received a call from Crystal from the "Office of the President" inquiring about my issue. She said they were having a fiber lighting issue with the cable and didn't have an ETA on a fix, but would call me everyday with an update. Today is Monday and I haven't heard from her again. Called the office and left her a VM. AT&T should be ashamed of their customer service. They are going door to door in my area selling something that isn't working. Nobody is responsible for getting it fixed, they just give you lip service. It is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. To have the Office of the President call because they received an FCC complaint and then not follow up pathetic. Guess I have no choice but to cancel and find another provider. Shameful on AT&T's part.
Was looking for a provider with reasonable costs to my bill. I was promised an amount on the phone for my bill and confirmed SEVERAL TIMES how much the bill would be after everything was included. I look into the bill and it was DOUBLE the amount that was said. Then they said they couldn't fix it because I was the one who set everything up online. Even though it was DONE OVER THE PHONE. I added a 2nd line on my account, a Iphone for my niece, which was a free phone. Unfortunately, it was mailed to the wrong address, and by the time the issue was caught, I was told the promotion was over. I was then offered a different Iphone, in which I would have a credit on my account of $16.67 per month, therefore paying only $5 per month. I agreed to the deal. Several months later, I changed my plan because my niece was not going to need it for a few months. Customer service failed to tell me that by doing so, it would void the promotion. I have been calling AT&T every since Jan/Feb of 2021 to correct the issue. One day I spoke to 3-4 people during the call, the final individual, a supervisor, promised that the issue would be corrected and would not need to call every month regarding the issue. Sadly as of September 2021, I am still calling AT& T regarding this issue. Even today, September 10th, I spent almost 1 hr on the phone, without resolve, the specialist Sonya promised she'd call back before her shift ended... no call. I am so disappointed that AT&T did not, does not, value me as a long term customer, and after months of going back and fourth, still have NOT handled this matter. We bought outright our iPhone from AT&T and signed up for the auto payment. Everything worked fine until 3 months later when they started using an old CC that had been turned off after someone stole our number. I went online and made sure the correct card was set as default, but then I had to pay the extra $5. Because I had to manually pay it. Then next month they did it again, so my husband called and customer service said that it was paid in full until the next month and yes it was being billed to the new number. Then we get a notice that it didn't get paid again so I went online again and canceled all the CCs that were there and put only the correct one in, which showed that it was still the default one that they should be using. Again it got declined because they were using the old number. I called customer service again and they showed that they had the correct CC, but said I would have to still pay the extra $5 even though they were at fault. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they refused, said there wasn't one that could talk to me. I told them if they knocked off the $5 fee that I would stay with them. NOPE. I asked them to unlock the phone so that I could change companies. They said they would. Over 6 months later and they still refuse to unlock phone!

I had two lines in my plan, but the second line was disabled for more than 6 months. The operator who disabled my lines had told me that I was supposed to get a notification when my disabled line would get reenabled, but I had no notification for reactivation and I was charged bill for 2 months one was prorated and another one was or past month even though I haven't used the phone since February 2022. The lady who I spoke to over the phone was not listening to me and my issue and was over speaking me without addressing it. I had a lot of issues with AT&T since the time I moved into it. Firstly they were not able to port me on their network as my old network was Cricket wireless where as my wife's network was also cricket but she was ported in pretty easily. Their customer care has been keeping customers on wait for over 30 minutes each time we call in. The lady I spoke to, her first name was An*** and she was a bit rude when she was trying to talk and even asked for personal questions like my weekend plans even though I refused in a way to answer. There has been a lot of hassles since the beginning Their customer care is not at all coordinate as one answers something differently and the other answers in another manner. She was even not able to help me with Billing as I had issues with my bill. They prorated me and charged me for the month of september and October 2022 and didn't want to reverse my charges even though I got no notifications for my reactivated line. I am very disappointed from their service and specially with their cancellation specialist
Decatur, Illinois is the only place that my service sucks, every other city service is great but when I come home I can't get service in certain spots to save my life. AT&T yall gonna have to do better than this cause word is Verizon works everywhere in Decatur. When you call AT&T you're sent overseas in the customer service does not know what's happening in the states. They scheduled a maintenance on my internet from 8:00 to 12:00, no one showed up and no explanation. Call ATT customer service and they had no idea what I was talking about and didn't care they're response was they'll get to it when they get to it. By sure luck looking around for a United States customer service for AT&T, I found out that our street and several streets around us had outages, so scheduling a service call was the wrong thing to do and no one informed anyone that it was an outage that affected everyone. We we need to get back the way it used to be your call customer service they're in the states and they know what the problem is, outsourcing it to overseas is the wrong way to do it because they don't have the right information to help the customers. We need to get back to customer service and not the almighty dollar that AT&T saves by doing this. AT&T should have one customer number not a half a dozen because you don't even know what number you're calling and it's very confusing.

Normally I trust people but when you go to the on at ******* Westheimer Rd they will tell you anything just to get you to buy My salesperson told me my bill would not be more than $175 but yet I recived a bill for $412. So than I call customer service all they said that I need to go to the store to cancel. So I go get there at 6pm I talk to sale lady Maryam and she says she dont know what happen so she talks to Manager who say will I help after this lady he was helping now after that instead of helping me waiting an hour helps next person who walks in. And ignore us because we have a problem not a purchase. 7pm comes around and he tells Maryam to leave. Why would he tell her to leave if she is the one who knows what's going on. So I got upset told the manager here are the phones I purchase and to cancel my contract. Buy law I was within my timeframe to cancel the worst customer service every received. At that store. When you purchase everyone is quick to help; you but once there is an issue everyone act like they don't know anything.
