Apps Bar

Appsbar is a great site that allows you to make mobile apps for free through their app building program. I took advantage of this websites features to help display my artwork and to give my fans more information about upcoming events and access to my website to view my paintings at the palms of their hands. The site was very simple and clear with their instructions about how to make the app and get it published for download. I am very pleased with their product and would recommend appsbar to anyone who is interested in creating a mobile application. Thank you!

The program is easy to work with, but a bit of a learning curve. There is NO support, did you hear me, NO SUPPORT! I have sent many emails trying to get my two apps published (which look great I might say, but noone will know). The best resource I have found is youtube but most of the videos are old. I wish they had online support or email support or, for that matter, any support at all.

I developed several mobile apps for people and myself. When there is an issue you can call or email and they will not return any calls. I spoke to a gentleman last week who told me the number I have that is posted no longer belongs to Appsbar that they have shut down. I never got any information on this. The owner who I have read about is a boxing manager wow I wouldn't want him to manage my career. I'm so disgusted because for over a month I have called and email with no response. Scott is suppose to be the tech guy is very rude, he will not return calls or emails.

Once you have understood the basic principles of how to get your app looking the way you want it AppsBar works well on Android phones with a couple of limitations.

Building your app through the interface is simple and straight forward and there is plenty of scope to add simple games and events as well as other useful template facilities.

Once you have built your application AppsBar make it available for download from their own website without any cost to you. This is a great facility.

There is one big drawback with this app. We paid 25 dollars and followed the procedure for uploading to Google Play. Unfortunately this does not work and even after contacting support they admitted there were issues with uploading to Google Play. Do not waste your money paying Google to upload and app that will not upload properly.

The support is good and the application does work on Android phones but it has a tendency to lock up and freeze. If you are on a budget and need a community app then this is probably OK but for serious commercial use I do not think this is up to the standard of other applications.

It is first time i write a report about a company. It is important that people know about the crooks in this company called appsbar.com.

I have signed up to their service since they launch in May 2011. I created my app and they said it would be submitted to Apple and Google. It never went to Apple. I contacted customer service and person by name of Marc Mannuel was very nasty to me and just told me, you must wait and stop emailing us with same questions. Very nasty customer service!

App was never published to Apple. It was published to Google but under their own name! It is so bad! I contacted them and again appsbar customer service person Marc told me, we gave you app for free, but we own the content and the app belongs to us! I was so pissed at this... I spent 2hrs of my time building an app using my photos and videos and content from my business web site, and then they say they own the app.

I found my app on google android and it is true, it is published under appsbar, some one by name of Shawn McNamara, who I then found out is a criminal! (http://fljails.info/?RID=*******)

I contacted google and ask them about what I should do. Google verified that Appsbar infringed on my copywrite of my content and then google immediately removed my app from android store.

Be careful with these guys! They are crooks! They will publish your app under their name and take all the credit!
