My son is a senior in the CIS department at a large public university in Arizona. He has a 3.95 GPA but found himself in an awkward situation. The instructor in a senior level CIS course gave the class a very complex and time consuming final project - and gave virtually no instruction or help on how to do the project. There are 150 students in the class and most of them were at a loss as to how to do this assignment. I contacted Anne-Marie and explained what was required and indicated that the time frame was less than one week for completion. She assured me she had the right person to tutor my son - and she was right on target. She put my son in contact with a recent PhD graduate from the computer science and engineering department at a major east coast university and together they completed the project ahead of schedule and on budget. The tutor worked with my son over a weekend to assure completion on time. Well done. If I am grading Anne-Marie and her tutoring service, the grade is 100 out of 100. AM Professional Tutoring was a God Send. AM Tutoring found me on a tutoring website when I was in desperate need of a Praxis Tutor. Out of all the tutors that I contacted, AM tutoring was the only one to take my need seriously and want to help me. Do not use this service. Anne-Marie Tadros has been a disaster from day one. It took us several days to register; she told us to register and pay online. It took her several days to tell us she had to actually turn the registration area on. She never gets my first and last name correct together. Sometimes the first name is wrong, and then the last name is wrong. She can't remember that my child being tutored is a boy. She emails at 12:33 PM the day before the tutoring session, knowing that I work at night and sleep during the day, asking for s him to scan and fax or email anything he has pertaining to the session the next day at 5:30. I get up and go to work not checking my email until 3:00 AM. Now my son is asleep and will catch the bus at 6:40 AM, and will not get home until after 3:00 PM, then he has to drive to physical therapy and will not get home until right before the session. I tell her this and I get an email saying "We are all busy etc." she cannot understand the concept that I work nights and he goes to school days and if we were supposed to do something she should have told us earlier.

Now the fee you pay is up front with a registration fee. She canceled the tutoring after 2 hrs of tutoring, and charged me for 2.5 hrs. I have sent her the SKYPE session time from SKYPE and she still is keeping the 0.5 hrs, and she is keeping the 50.00 registration fee, even though she canceled. I am sending it to the authorities for fear it is a scam, where she keeps the 50.00 and does not do the tutoring. She is so difficult to speak to, sometimes it take 5 minutes to ask a single question. She rambles on and says negative things. She told me SKYPE was terrible and she never uses it, but during the tutoring session, they used SKYPE. I would just stay away from this company... I guess I should have known since they asked for the money up front.

Highly recommend AM Tutoring! I got the help I needed at an affordable price. That's nice. Learning technical information or academic realted materiel can actually be a nice experience. AM Tutoring helped me to realize this. A Win Win situation is where everyone wins.

Studying for any graduate-level standardized test can be extremely difficult and time-consuming if you're not the test-taking type. Taking the DATs for dental school is no exception, and I tried very hard to find a better way to study for this test the second time around.

Fortunately I came across AM Tutoring, and I can say for a fact that my score not only improved to the place I needed it to be but that I also understood concepts far better now than I ever did in college. The services were very flexible around my schedule, and, with a few minor adjustments and switches, I was given a very knowledgeable and understandable team of tutors to work with.

Although I highly recommend using this service, there are definitely guidelines to consider before signing up. First of all, you MUST HAVE TIME TO STUDY, especially for graduate-level tests! I can't stress this enough. There is a LOT of work to complete prior to your tutoring sessions, and I feel that it's much better to be overprepared than underprepared. In the 2.5 months time frame that I had to study, I was working two jobs for about 30 hours per week, with 20 hours or less of study time. For this kind of tutoring, I would recommend setting aside more time to studying, possibly a whole year, and minimizing your work life as much as possible.

Second, expect to be pushed to your academic limits. I had material that covered all of my subjects, but the key to learning and getting better scores is repetition... repetition... repetition. Your tutors will challenge you mainly on the concepts, and any questions you have will be answered to the best of their ability, but it ultimately comes down to how much effort you want to put into this.

For the money I invested and the knowledge I've gained, I'd say this tutoring was well worth it. Whatever test you study for, expect success with this service... but don't expect it to be easy.
