I ordered a plastic bug deflector for my truck. The product was about $20 less then I would have paid in the store. The piece got here and was cracked into 4 pieces. I sent pictures. They offered me $35 in store credit (I paid $43) or offered for ME to package it and take it to FedEx (with all my spare time) The customer service is deplorable. Proceed with caution. They won't help ya if the product is destroyed during delivery
El día 14 de mayo del 2021ordene un kit de baleros para mí diferencial, me dijeron que llegarían en 10 días hábiles y que me mandaría un número de shipping cuando mi orden se enviará, pasaron los días y no me enviaban nada, me comunique con ellos y me dijeron que iban a resolver mi problema, después de 4 días más me dijeron que mis partes llegarían hasta el 9 de Julio, por lo que decidí cancelar mi orden y si me regresaron todo mi dinero, mi molestía es que te vendan algo que no tienen y responsabilicen a su proveedor me hicieron perder 3 semanas y la garantía de otra parte que había ordenado porque no pude probar los valeros en el piñon.

They scammed me! Please stay away from this company they are parasites and legit frauds. I bought a tonneau cover and their website tricked me into believing the item would fit my truck. I was sent a tonneau cover for a 6.5 ft bed truck instead of the specifications that I wanted. I tried to contact someone to return and they told me sorry youre out of luck nothing you can do except ship it back. After lying to me for 3 weeks and giving me the run around that a lable is on the way. Then I get hit after 3 weeks of waiting with the " You have to pay all the return shipping". I was lied to by 3 separate people being told they would send me return tags until the very end when they finally told the truth after a month that they are not responsible and that their back office says Im on my own. So now Im stuck with an item that doesnt even fit my truck. I got a quote at how much to ship the tonneau back and they quoted me at 800 dollars! More expensive than the actual item itself! This is a very fraudulent business and needs to be reported asap. Do not listen to the good reviews they are all robots working for this scam business. The white guy on youtube with his stupid neck beard is just a slimy sales man who makes you think youre dealing with a reputatable business, but theyre nothing but a bunch of scum bags. Worst ever service, I am basically robbed of 700 dollars like many people here in the review section. They send you unwanted wrong items then stick you with a ridiculous return policy and no way to give or exchange the item. Im thinking of taking legal action against this very shady dealer and their stupid youtube fraudulent videos. Nothing but vile words to who ever orchestrates and runs this business. Never ever will come back and will drop reviews on every forum of this POS. Scum bags.
I paid almost 1900 for tire and wheel package. The tires were supposed to last ******* miles and they are chopped up at ******* miles. Contacted American Trucks with a write up from Discount Tire saying what the problem was. American Trucks would not replace or refund. Said the tires are no longer warranties. Just bought them in January.
Purchased a rear bumper for 2018 F-150. After installation I noticed it sat about 2 in. Lower than the original equipment. I'm not happy!
They are crooks. I've received several faulty products from them. They're extremely rude over the phone as well. I had several people give me a MAJOR attitude over the phone just because I asked a general question, then they still sent me the wrong product. They need to be shut down immediately. They are CROOKS.
My husband ordered a tuner from American Trucks, shipping was delayed so long that he ordered another tuner from a different company, had it installed & the truck screaming down the street before we even received our order from AT. Good thing he did too because he received a USB cable, no tuner for the price of $431. It's been over a week trying to get a return shipping label to send the cable back, so they will refund our money. Worst company ever! No one knows anything about anything. Horrible experience. My man is doing a lot of work to his truck & when that's done we're starting on our sons. Glad we found out what a shady place this is so we know where NOT to shop for future purchases. Nothing American about it. Might I suggest SSI Performance/Derive Systems. Great customer service & tech support.

I got a flow master outlaw dual exhaust system from this place and it came ups and the box was so damaged and the parts were coming out of the box I called and talked to customer service and they wanted me to pay to send it back and wanted to give me store In credit save your money and go with someone that like to deal with there customers (This place should not be in business anymore
It has now been two weeks since I placed an order for a bed cover. It hasn't shipped and I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone and none of my emails have been returned. I'm starting to think I just got ripped off.
I gave one star only because there was not an option for ZERO STARS. After a week of waiting for my order to ship, Customer Service advised I would have to wait another 10 days for a refund. Pretty good online scammer!
Avoid this site at all costs. They will not get you manufacter support for your product and the manufacturer, at least in my case, wont deal with anyone but them. I have 3 month old plug and play headlights I can't use due to a faulty wiring harness. AmericanTrucks won't even contact the manufacturer to request. Customer service tried to get me to buy a new set of the same thing. Really.
I received the barricade running boards damaged, I send them back. They send me the parts for a second time and they also come in damaged. Then they tell me to take my business somewhere else there's other places I can shop because I asked them if they think it's fair
Horrible quality and customer service. I bought a powder coated bumper three months ago and it is already rusting out. I don't know how this place is still in business. $800 down the drain.
The worst customer service I've ever had. They don't care about the customer! They took my money shipped my bumper took a month to get to me got messed up in shipping sent it back and 3 weeks later and still no refund. Buyer Beware - purchased a "like new" - open box grill and upon opening the box, 5 pcs were broken. If you're looking for a company with integrity, this company is not the one. Since they didn't do their due diligence on an open box sale, I'd suggest you do your due diligence and research the reviews for this company. This is not the first time this has happened and will not be the last I'm sure.
Their response was - "We can no longer set up a return on the item as it is beyond the open box return window. The item is also a freight item, which cannot be returned for damage after it is signed for and delivered." These two things would be a non-factor if they sold a product that was reviewed and ensured was in "like new" condition. Weather held up opening the box and the 5 pieces broken; 1 was in a baggie with the attachment screws, one is a plastic screw broken off in the grill and the other 3 were small broken pieces of plastic that attach the grill to your truck. So if It was based on freight review this is not something that would have been noticeable and American Freight is passing the buck on their poor product return/review process. It is also not my responsibility as a consumer to ensure they have sent a quality product.
So basically, I'm out $300+ for something that should have never been sold. Please take "American" out of your name - it is not deserving. The company does not have good business practices and unfortunately seems this is a pattern and not an anomaly.

I received my order on November 27th. I got sick with covid so I was not able to check the order when it came in, but it was delivered, and I received an email from your company that it was delivered. After 2 months of being away I was able to get back to the office and get the parts. I was told that there would be 3 boxes but instead there were only 2. I was assured these were all the parts. I took the parts over to my shop to put the lift on. I have my truck completely disassembled and am missing an entire box of parts. Now I can't finish the lift. I have paid you IN FULL, and only received half the parts 4 months later. I did an investigation with UPS to find out that the one box was returned to the sender without even trying to deliver the box. I was NEVER contacted by your company that it was returned. I was ASSURED I received all the parts. That is theft by deception. Now I have to wait another week and a half to receive the parts while my truck sits on a lift and I have to go get a rental car. Your company offered me a $20 store credit. That is the most ridiculous and insulting compensation for YOUR screw up that I could ever imagine.
This place is great at taking an order, and that's where the greatness ends. The aftersales care is bottom of the barrel. I bought almost 1900 dollars worth of lighting for my truck and now that I have an issue I am having to haggle with Jan, who is apparently part time. Mind you, the truck got 700 miles on it over the past 9 months since the LEDs were installed. So not even driven! From there I sent pictures clearly showing the issue. I then had to spend money to have a service shop communicate the exact same as I did. What a joke, so out more money! I called the LED supplier and they got back to me in a day, now I'm trying to figure out their warranty process, sitting on the phone for an hour on hold. My two cents, don't by from American Trucks, don't buy Morimoto LED lights.

Answer: AT has Install Connect 2 find and schedule a local shop near your location. They let you choose 3 dates and times, and if there are several different truck shops near you, you decide where and when you would like the job to be completed. I found the install price from AT is much cheaper than I could walk off the street and get a price. I know AT will make sure to choose quality shops and get it done right.
