Poor customer service.

Ordered an intake for a 2017 sierra, 400$
Got it that Friday, pulled my truck in the shop took the old intake off and was putting the new one on, should have paid more attention because I was sent the wrong intake. For a 2014-2016 sierra. Immediately called, talked to a fella named Justin, would not put a supervisor on the phone for me. I'm not one to complain or write negative reviews. But when something is clearly their fault, they should atleast eat some of a loss and send the CORRECT overnight. But no, they said they couldn't do anything for other than wait for FedEx to pick up my intake and when it got scanned they would send the new one. So whatever hands tied at this point cause it would take longer for a refund of my money. Said I would have the correct one by Tuesday.
Saturday morning fedex picked up the package. To send back, nothing from.the company, called them. They said they can't do nothing yet cause it hadn't been scanned. The Monday I called back. Apparently fedex didn't put return label on.the box so it circled back around to me. Me having to call fedex amd track the package down doing all the legwork trying to either get my package or my money. With little to no help from this company. Finally Tuesday the package gets marked from fedex it is being sent back to sender, today is thrusday. No word from the company. No compensation for the hassles. No offer for a fast shipping time. Nothing.
Checked the tracking on the new intake and was suppose to be here Friday. Checked again today. Now it is saying Sunday.
Who knows when it will be here. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the incorrect one again, I'll never spend another dollar here.
All I would have liked is a faster shipping kn the correct part, seeing as it was their mistake amd that seems fair. But nope..

They false advertise many items and straight up lie about the open box items you purchase. They offer no post purchase service and will not make things right for you no matter what. Just look around for a company that has similar products with better reviews. I was extremely disappointed with this company after spending over 3000$ with them.

Trash company

I purchased open box fender flares only because they were described as "like new." They are not like new, one is warped and does not sit flush against the vehicle. And now I can only get a store credit because it was an open box. I will not do business again with a garbage company that misleads its customers.

I recommend them. I buy some shocks for my f150 and they came after 2 days of my purchase very fast and they arrived in very good condition, nothing bad, in truth I am very satisfied. I will buy with them again.

I recently placed an order for headlights and never received them. They refused to give me a refund or send me a replacement until I filed a police report. Why would I have the police come all the way to my house for a missing package when they have more important things to do! The problem is between FedEx and American Trucks since FedEx states that they delivered them, but they never arrived at my house, I even have cameras and no package was ever delivered. Don't order from here it is a waste of money and no one will try to help you.

I have purchased several items from this company. One was defective and I called customer care, was given details for returning and was told a replacement was coming. Over a month later still waiting. Called customer care again, was just given lip service and I requested a full refund and was returning the item. Was sent an email for the return. Was told it would be a month once they received the item back to process my refund. WHAT? Didn't take a month to charge me! Will be buying elsewhere. This company is not reliable!

Ordered running boards for my new 2021 Silvarado, $700.00. When they showed up I noticed 3 of the 8 brackets were damaged. Contacted this company and was told they would refund $217.00 if I chose to keep them which I did since I'd already had one on the truck and didn't want to remove. Next day was notified they made a mistake and would only refund $112.00. Not picky but C, mon! You send me busted parts then nickel and dime me?

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH! They delayed shipping without letting me know. I had to follow up. Then FedEx shipped product to god knows where. Delivery shows a mail room when I live in a house. I called and emailed American Trucks and they basically told me to pound sand and go file a police report. In my opinion they are a scam. STAY AWAY!

I ordered an undercover swing case storage for my 2018 f150. The item was an open box and stated that was in great condition with no missing parts. I received my package which only contained a single bracket. The cost for the item was 100$. The company completely falsely advertised what i was purchasing and sent me a bracket worth no more than 5$.

I just don't have anything positive to say about my experience with this company. Very dodgy, employees contradicting themselves and trying to deny false advertising. Had I not screen shotted my experience it would probably not be believed. I had to submit my screen shot even though there were recorded conversations where one employee admitted it was wrong but then back tracked on telling me when they said "what's in your box" and it said (4) OEM grade Ubolts, that it meant I use what's on my truck!?!?

The supervisor said he couldn't go off a phone recording because there would be no way of knowing that his employee was looking at the correct product even though all that was in the recording. I'm glad a screen shotted what I did, they tried ignore it rather than confront and handle their mistake. I don't want anything for free, just what I paid for.

How can what's on my truck be what's in the box? And how can what's in the box be on my truck? She was arguing with me and that no one else was higher than her in the company and if she transferred my call then my call would end up being "downgraded"

Took a week to get a call back after several phone calls and being on hold numerous times, one of which was 40mins+ but I knew I needed to stand my ground after the first call regarding the issue and the employee was being very dodgy. I will include where I screen shotted what they advertised, and then a screen shot of the problem they fixed and that the supervisor was not going to acknowledge unless I actually had a screen shot. Unbelievable

Upsetting

I purchased a tonneau cover for my truck on line. That same day I received an American Truck catalog. The same exact item was much cheaper in the catalog. So I call and an associate said "there is nothing I can do. What a joke. Last purchase for me.

Unprofessional

I can't even give this company 1 star. My husband ordered something and had to return it as it was not the right part. When returning it, the company wanted us to ship both items in one box to save on shipping costs! Don't EVER agree to do this. I have been fighting for 6 weeks as they only reimbursed me for 1 or the 2 items returned. I paid $103 for an item I returned. I will NEVER order from this company again!

I purchased a brush guard. It was delivered midweek in the afternoon on a semi truck. I did not have time to install for 4 days. When I opened the box I discovered damage on the front bar, package foam was in good shape, meaning it was damaged prior to it being boxed. I called and they said to send photos for review and then a shipper would be sent to pick up part... 5 calls and three weeks later I was told that the company policy states any part shipped with freight is non returnable. That I am stuck with a damaged part and too bad.

Magnum step bars

I ordered a pair of magnum step bars for my 2020 ram rebel. I was assured by the sales man ( Jaes) if that's his real name, that delivery would be 2 days, as advertised. When I received the email confirmation, it stated that I selected standard shipping, which is not true. I contacted customer service, and was told there is nothing they could do.
I asked the rep(Leah) why the sales rep lied to me and to connect me with him and she told me it could not be done. I became so enraged that I cancelled the order the same day and asked for refund back to my credit card. Why companies like this are even allowed to conduct business is beyond me. Buyers beware, stay away from this company!
