Service was brilliant

I have booked with AlphaRooms before and continue to re-book with them as I find them to be More helpful than travel agents such as love holidays. My most recent booking I looked online but decided to ring to book as I needed some special request to be noted down. The man on the phone was really helpful and successfully booked my room without any problems. He was polite and friendly and even said he hopes I have a good holiday but you could tell he actually did mean it. I will be booking with AlphaRooms again.

Booked hotel in Hurghada for 26th November for 9 nights and so far so good. Hopefully there will be no issues when we arrive in resort.

Up to booking was ok, I had to see the service at Hilton in Hurghada.
Since I have used your service first time to early to comment.

Easy booking process.

We required 5 rooms for a family holiday. We spoke to an adviser and he completed the whole process with ease. It's our 3rd booking with Alpharooms and have never had a problem. Great work.

Never again

Never again will i book alpha rooms booked rooms paid 1 deposit then paid further deposit month later and they have added it on to my hotel balance instead of subtracting been on phone numerous times to sort out just keep getting past from pilliow to post still not sorted getting very annoyed to the point I just want to cancel but then they said I will have to pay a fee for every person ridiculous

What a horrible $#*!e company. I booked and paid for two rooms in lanzarote on 27/12/17. And got confirmation right away. 7 weeks later alpharooms sent me a email saying the hotel was overbooked and I was moved to the opposite end of the resort. When I phoned I was basically told take it or cancel as it was too late to book another hotel I had to access it. When I finally managed to get through the to customers service I was assured that I was in my original hotel and to print off my confirmation voucher. Surprise gets to the hotel it's overbooked they got us a room for that night (2 couples in one room) and sorted a hotel for the rest of our holiday I've been arguing with alpharooms rooms for the money it cost for the room and taxi to new hotel, since March and they just blame me saying I accepted after numerous calls and emails and being told crap and lies by them I'm now going through small claims court thE money doesn't bother me it's the fact they treated me badly and have cheated loads of customers. They are the $#*!iest company I have ever dealt with please if you read this don't think of booking with them.

Cancelled my booked room within days of arriving - offered an inferior replacement which I declined. Now weeks later and still not got a refund - contacted them on 4 occasions now without reply.

Happy to take your money but won't deliver on their advertised products... please avoid at all costs.

Overbooked our room and not telling us until 3 days prior to arriving - not even offered a suitable replacement. Cost me an extra £200 to book same hotel room that they said was overbooked. Absolute Cowboys - a costly lesson learned... Stick with the reputable companies.

Customer Service = non existent.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Worst company I have ever dealt with (and I work in the middle east). I was due a refund which they fully acknowledged however after months of emails and calls being ignored it was only when I raised a court case against them that they responded and sent the refund. I would rather not bother with a hotel and sleep on the beach than have to deal with Alpharooms again.

Please do not waste your money on booking with alpharooms! I booked a hotel in Mexico and the total money was taken from my account soon afterwards. After I had an unscheduled layover and my transfer not showing up I thought it couldn't get any worse UNTIL I arrived at the hotel and was told that Alpharooms had cancelled my booking and taken my money. I would need to pay another 2 grand for another room. After hours trying to get it sorted with Alpharooms they eventually acknowledged their mistake. This is not a once off - the same thing has just happened to my neighbour however Alpharooms now have no room to give her. Avoid this dodgy company unless you want your holiday ruined!

THIS COMPANY WANTED MY BANK SECURITY DETAILS.
I thought I had booked and confirmed holiday with this company only to find out that it was only a request even though I asked if it was confirmed. I was then told the flight was not booked and had to pay again, this company used my card on another website and asked me for my security password details for my bank account, which I refused. My bank blocked my card as Alpharooms were using my bank details from an IP address in India. I have spent hours on the phone been lied to and told I cannot have the number for their Head Office in UK. My bank account was locked and no-one has the capacity to understand why I am complaining. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY

Do not use them. I booked 4 days in malta then the following day I read the reviews and found out that the hotel is run down and not as advertised on their website with new photos so I asked for cancellation or change to another holiday as my holiday is still in Feb 2018, they refused to cancel or change the location, it cost me 135 pounds to book it and alpharooms asked me to pay 125 pounds if I modify the booking. A rip off company. I will never use them. If you pay the initial one pound for booking, you are DONE. It's a one way ticket with them once you book you can not do anything about it. No way out company.

Alpha rooms

I booked a hotel and transfers separately with the above. I have made a payment for my hotel for the 10 nights that I will be staying. I struggled to pay as it kept declining my card but eventually managed with my credit card. Then I have tried to pay my transfers several cards have been declined saying we cannot process your payment at the moment or oops there is a problem with our website. I called, got through my card was declined again after being on the phone for ages. This is my debit card which I use almost daily. Several times I have made attempts to make payment to no avail.so basically I have given up on my transfers. I will not pay for them now as I have sent several requests for my booking confirmation and have had no reply. I told them it is urgent. I am so worried as I am a women travelling alone and won't arrive in the resort till nearly midnight. Still no confirmation which I paid £125 for. I really don't hold out much hope that there will be a room for me upon arrival. I have been worried sick about this. I will never use Alpha rooms again.
Sorry forgot to say, I also telephoned and was cut off. Telephoned several times on the same day, phone just kept ringing.

Dodgy

Paid for 11 rooms arrived at hotel only 10 booked, owner of hotel wanted extra £300 from me even though I had 11 accommodation vouchers. Customer service is a joke saying they'd sort it but they didn't.

I have asked alpharooms to provide me with a travel voucher (which is a fancy name for a confirmation message/document) which has all our names on it, not just the lead passenger. When I have booked my hotel (2 rooms for 3 adults), I didn't even had the opportunity to add more names, I could only add mine as a lead passenger. This would not be a problem normally, however one us is from outside of the EU therefore requires a visa to enter Spain. In order to get the visa, the consulate requires her to provide a confirmation of accommodation with her name being present on the document (well, obviously for confirmation reasons). Alpharooms was not able to send me a hotel voucher with all the guests name on it, which is a shame as it does not sound like a very difficult task. When they told me that they could theoretically change the name of the lead passenger for an admin fee of £30, I told them to get lost.

Dear all, if you are in the same boat and your visa application will require an accommodation voucher with all the names present, forget about this joke of a company and book it directly from the hotel itself, will be slightly more expensive, but at least they are professional, unlike alpharooms.

Honestly, this is beyond joke.

I could really go on forever for how bad I feel treated by alpha rooms but in a nutshell I paid for a holiday including flights only to be told after I questioned them that they'd only paid for my hotel and would require £300 more for my flights! This is even after confirmation emails confirming flight and hotel payments were paid for in full! I honestly don't know if my hotel is even booked now and I may of just been robbed! Please do not use, I ignored the bad reviews in favour of the good and have definitely paid the price
