For a few years now I have been wearing Allbirds wool- and tree runners. Their service in store or online is excellent. The products are of an excellent quality and there is a feeling that they really care about the environment. I love the materials they use especially New Zealand wool. Exceptionally comfortable footwear.
These shoes hurt my feet after wearing for 30 minutes. Tried several times thinking I just needed to get used to them, but each time my foot pain increased. Tried to return them but Allbird would not accept a return because I was 13 days outside their return window. The shoes were barely worn and in very good shape. The best they would do is offer a $10 credit for shoes I bought for $135. Expensive lesson.

I purchased 6 pairs of Allbirds shoes over approximately 4-5 years. Three pairs were their "tree" versions which have a nylon type material. While these shoes are comfortable, every pair of these "tree" versions wore through the toe area within 6-9 months of use. I probably wore these shoes 2-3 times per week during these periods. Allbirds did not accept responsibility for the premature defects of their shoes and after contacted, refused to provide a refund, credit or replacement. While I spent approximately $400 for three pairs of shoes, each of which had the same product defect, they only offered a $25 gift card. I considered that an insult. I will never buy another product from Allbirds. In my opinion, their products have poor workmanship and/or materials and are not worth the price charged. They do not value quality or their customer base.
I have been reassured and lied to multiple times by a couple staff members on receiving a pair of shoes that were sent to me in the wrong size. I was told i would get the shoes I had originally ordered in the correct size. That never happened. After reaching back out twice, I was again reassured that my order would go thru and that I would receive a confirmation and tracking number. That also never happened and now, after having to initiate another line of communication with them, have been told I will have to submit for a refund. Worst customer support I have ever experienced.
While the comfort of the shoes is amazing, the quality is horrendous. I bought a pair and wear them maybe 2-3 times per week and the big tow area material is already worn thin with holes. The shoes were $150 and not worth it at all! They didn't even last six months. Do not waste your money on them, as they are poorly made with poor materials that wear out too quickly!
Wore Tree runner for two weeks on a vacation, the toe area broke through around 4-5 days, and had to throw them away. Waste of money!. Emailed Allbirds customer service, pretty much blaming me for getting the wrong size ( I obviously know my own shoe size) and walking too much in humidity. Didn't offer anything, not even a coupon code for next purchase. Never again!
I bought 3 pairs of Allbirds Tree Runners over a period of 3 months because I have narrow, bony feet and these shoes had a snug, comfortable, supportive feel around the foot which is hard for me to find. Within less than a year, all 3 pairs were worn through with holes. This has never happened for me with any other brand of shoe. But the main problem is, they are absolutely hazardous to wear in wet weather when the sidewalks are slick. Worse yet, I made the mistake of wearing them while walking my dog in the dark. I stepped on a couple of gravel rocks were on the paving while walking swiftly and there was no grip on the shoe tread to stop the intense slide of my feet and I went flying head over heels. This never would have happened if I'd been wearing my Palladiums or even my old Skechers. I think Allbirds are good for light indoor wear on a carpet and that's about it. For the price they should last longer and be safer.

Unfortunately although the shoes were comfortable i found them to be poorly manufacture. I have had 2 pairs of Allbird shoes fail within only 6 months of low wear use (in carpeted office). They did replace one pair but failed to replace the second pair. For an expansive shoe this is clearly unacceptable and very poor customer service.

After about 2 weeks of wearing they are coming apart at the toe from the seams. I have pink ones and I paid 140 dollars plus taxes for them. My toes get wet in the weather and they also have alot of discoloration on them. Total crap. If you want a truley water proof shoe consider buying a vessi shoe

Bought a pair of sugar zeffers, after a few months the strap broke. Sent pictures to customer service and they refused to replace them - now trash
I bought this shoes around 6 month ago in the 5th ave NYC store, wear them very seldom for the evening walk and have problem with the sole. Contacted customer service last week for help, they asked to send them pictures and after told me "Thanks for the information" but no help.

Aside from the poor quality shoes for the price - I don't normally get smelly feet, but after wearing allbirds even on a cool day my feet are swimming in sweat and absolutely stink - allbirds has been rated as low as fast fashion companies such as ASOS for their shoddy business practices.
An excerpt from Remake's recent report:
"AllBirds continues to disappoint, scoring low across all assessment categories, but notably earning zero points for Traceability, Commercial Practices, Raw Materials and Governance. The few points it has managed to muster have only been awarded for disclosing a Supplier Code of Conduct, using minimal packaging that is FSC Certified and FSC Recycled Certified, as well as for their resale program, AllBirds ReRun.
Aside from these few positive developments, the company has fallen severely behind in its supply chain, environmental and corporate governance disclosures. Equally inadequate are its emissions, water and chemical reduction targets — the latter two of which appear to be in rudimentary form. While AllBirds states that it is 100% carbon neutral, this achievement is largely attributed to the purchase of carbon credits, which by no means absolves the company from responsibility for the emissions it continues to produce as a result of both its own operations and those which occur along the supply chain.
It is also worth noting that AllBirds has no formal animal welfare policy, an especially concerning fact given one of the company's primary materials is wool. With a reputation for greenwashing and an obvious ambition to scale its business, AllBirds can hardly be called a sustainable brand if it fails to meet even the most basic levels of transparency."
TLDR this company is not even the least bit sustainable and the shoes are sh*t and overpriced anyway

Shipping said would be here by yesterday. Sat at their store for a week before being shipped out. Then sat in Indianapolis for 3 more days. Now it says pending date for arrival. Called store to have them track the shipment, they refused to do it. About to cancel the credit card transaction clearly fraud. Doubt they even sent the shoes.
Tip for consumers:
dont buy from them its a scam. they dont care about the customer.

I bought my first pair of these about two years ago and after wearing them about ten times they developed a hole where my left big toe would be. I contacted the company with pictures and they agreed to replace them with the exact same shoes. After wearing them about 5 times they developed the exact same hole in the exact same place. By the way, long toe nails are not the issue.

I bought 4 pair of Allbirds (not cheap) and 3 of the 4 pairs are getting rips in the material by the toe. I rotate these shoes with other shoes and only wear them to work so not a lot of wear and tear. Even with 2 years of COVID where we went nowhere and the shoes just sat they deemed the damage as results wear and tear. These are expensive shoes and should last longer than that. I am sure other shoes would last longer. I will never by these shoes again. Didn't get my monies worth. Very disappointed on this company.

I have 2 pairs of underwear from Allbirds. At first they are extremely comfortable. I will give them that, however the underwear only last a few months while only wearing the underwear once every other week or so and washing them on delicate. I wont be purchasing them any longer or asking anyone to purchase them for me for a gift. When customer service was contacted, they said they would give me a 10% off coupon towards another pair. I said so i get 10% off a $24 dollar pair of underwear that wont last a year and you wont replace them? She said thats all they could do. Dont waste your time and if you do, good luck.
Ordered a pair of Allbirds for the first time on Nov. 29th. Needed a half size larger. Allbirds refuses to exchange the shoes for a half size larger even though they have the shoe in stock. Consumer choice: keep shoes that are too small or return for a refund. Otherwise pay $20 more to get the correct size.
Terrible business practice. Refused to be highjacked by them, so return for refund.
Would have liked to try these shoes out and possibly be a long term customer.
I ordered a pair of Tree Runners and when I opened the box, was shocked to see a pair of worn and used pair! Extremely disappointed such thing ever happened!

Allbirds shoes are anemically-made and dangerous to wear. Starting with the bottom soles, the treads cause slipping and sliding, with a propensity to cause hamstring and knee injuries. What little tread they do have is gone within a month. The midsoles absorb sweat and become sticky, smelly, heavy globs in weeks. The outer upper soles are as cheap and anemic as they come. You'll have holes at the toes before you know it. The only thing the shoes are good for is sitting down.
Tip for consumers:
Don't fall for the allbirds hype..They're cheaply made and dangerous to wear

I bought these shoes and only wore them a couple of times, until I had an event that required walking for several hours. I wore these shoes, and I got blisters so bad, at the end of the day I couldn't walk. I tried to return them, and the "customer services" told me that "the 30-day guarantee" had already passed and that they recommended that I give them to a relative or donate them. I have never felt so mistreated by a product and the poor attention to this problem. I feel like I was robbed, and I can't do anything about it.
After just 6 wears already forming holes in socks. Do not buy anything from this company. Just garbage materials. They think that they are special. What a bunch of crap. You're Walmart.
They are comfy, sure, but i wore them a few times and got some dirt on them. It won't wash off because it settled into the fibers and now they look $#*!ty, so i cant wear them anymore, unless i want to look like im wearing some scuzzy shoes.
If i wanted some shoes i was gonna wear twice, i wouldnt have spent $100 on them. I am disappointed. Do not buy these
There is a reason why AllBirds is in such trouble. I purchased two pairs a few years ago. Within months and with. Minimal light wear the first layer of wool in the shoe disintegrated on the inside and a hole was imminent on both pair. I wrote AB months later when I found the shoes in my closet and was annoyed and they told me it was too late for a refund, return or troubleshooting...despite the fact this was an issue with their product I have a lot of causal and athletic shoes ranging from Nikes, Clarks, Merrells and Converse and never had them fall apart so quickly. Recently (four years later) I pulled out the shoes and wear them for taking the trash out, running to the curb etc. And I got angrier and angrier that these $100 shoes fell apart so quickly. I'd even joined the AB consumer panel b/c I'd hoped to help them improve and I was rooting for an eco company despite getting screwed by them. A colleague noticed my new looking shoes with holes and told he'd had the same problem.I did a google search and wow-these are bad products...the internet overflows with stories about wool and tree runners in the last years and how terrible the company is So I decided to write them again. The rep asked me for a LOT of information including photos. I did all of this. I then got a long note back saying they couldn't do anything because of the time that had passed, that the shoes wear differently for different people. And they had the nerve to say that some AB employees buy new shoes every few months as if this was a solution available to most people. I was really taken aback. This was an utter "Let them eat cake" moment and exactly what you would expect from a company that is so out of touch as AB...I believe companies should stand behind their products and if something is defective and falling apart within a year with very light wear at such a high price point, and its happening to a customer who is clearly taking the time to lay out full details, is rooting for you and sharing loads of customer data the company should fix it. A $100+ pair of shoes should last more than a year. When I responded that a manager would be good they said they'd take the feedback and hope that next time around they could help. Well, there's not going to be a next time. I will never buy a pair and I will make sure I share my experience far and wide. At some point you need to listen to your customers. This is an awful company with an awful product. Just do a google search.

Beware of Allbirds. Do a search first.

Wool Runners. AWFUL.
I bought a pair of Allbird Men's Wool Lounger Woven to wear around the house. My foot is an 8.5 and it was advised to size-up, so I bought size 9. Here is my feedback:
* shoes are painfully tight around the toes
* the insole may be wool but the exterior is nylon - their description was misleading
* the reply I recevied from Customer Support was essentially, we're sorry that you are dissatisfied and we will try harder next time. No solution of any sort. (NOTE: the shoes were on sale with a no return policy)
My feeling is WHAT NEXT TIME? There will be no next time. There are too many good shoes out there to gamble on a no name brand with poor customer service.
I will be dropping these shoes off at Goodwill this weekend.
Wore these all birds a little over two weeks and the soles started to unbond. Used duct tape to get by while on a trip. No apparent support for obvious quality issues
I had an issue with a pair of Allbirds and the customer service was unhelpful and horrid. Apparently it is typical to have your toes poke through the front of your shoes after wearing infrequently over a few months. I will never buy from them again and I suggest no one else does either!
Tip for consumers:
