I like to enter my card number as four groups of four numbers, to reduce keying errors. Your interface does not allow this, despite how easy it is for a computer to filter out all non-numeric characters. It's a first-term computing problem.
I apparently did mistype my number, and had to go back and enter it again. This was a completely ridiculous waste of time, and even though it didn't delay the completion of my order by much, it's very annoying that this *still* happens.
Some places automatically format the card number, inserting spaces if the user doesn't. This is great, but much harder to do. Just filter out non-numerics, and everybody would win.
