Quickly found the book I was looking for and the particular copy (condition and price). Alibris is my go-to when shopping for new or used books (usually looking for the best used copy available.) Never ordered a book anywhere else and recommend Alibris to my friends.
I chose a book, "the Circle", and clicked Place Order; then a box popped up asking me to rate my experience: I gave it a five star. When I tried to get back to Place Order page the Very Good copy had disappeared and I had to start all over again. Of course, the copy I had tried to order had disappeared (because I had taken it, I think) and what remained were good copies which I have ordered. The complaint isn't just the missing copy but the nuisance!
The editions of The Poem of the Cid were confusing. In one place the 1985 edition listed W S Merwin as translator and in another place a different translator. Also price was confusing: the 1975 edition was listed as $28 but
In going back and forth I think I ended up with the 1975 ed translated by Merwin for $5.70! I hope this is correct!

I had ordered this book earlier from another supplier. I received a cancellation notice from Alibris detailing a refund and telling me that in my cart would be other offers from other suppliers as close to this order if available. I went to my cart and found this copy which I ordered. Very impressed because Alibris made this transaction so easy for me.

I think there's a glitch in your system. I was shopping, added items to my cart and then went to sign in (needed to change my password). When I signed in, everything in my cart was "lost". However, when I went back to reselect the items (a pain in itself)... they were all apparently "locked up" in some phantom cart for 12 hours. Went back in the morning after the 12 hours, and the items were again available fro selection after signing in first this time.
That should be correctable? Thanks otherwise!
