So easy to access any information required, I 'm not very computer savvy, but agoda.com had all types of accommodation, prices, locations, tours & loads of places of interest, in any area, I enquired about. When I finally made my choice,[so many to choose from] my booking & payment was effortless. I will use them again with future travel plans & would recommend agoda.com to anyone planning a vacation. It was easy to book multiple rooms for different room types. The charges and fees are specified clear for each item. Not like some other websites, beside room charge, everything else as listed "tax and fees".
Iv booked four hotels with Agoda for my trip around Thailand starting tomorrow. I can say that the prices were the best I could find online and the actual booking was made extremely easy. Confirmation was sent in an email immediately and they have helped get my trip of to a fantastic "good feeling" start
I am an American expat living in Thailand for the past 16 Years. Several times a year we like to stay at different Thai resorts. Agoda is a 10 as far as I am concerned, Over the years every booking has been handled super. We could not be more pleased with all of our bookings.
They do not have a person to answer phone calls or email. They sent a payment decline at Manila Manor House. My guest was stuck in the hotel even though it was already paid. I tried to contact Agoda to take care of this nobody is answering.
NO REFUND for my cancelled hotel stay.
Horrible customer service. I was hung up on twice, and refused to be transferred to a supervisor. Three weeks as hotel cancelled my reservation, but still no money. Completely useless.

I strongly urge not to book with Agoda, as they booked my wife and I a room paid for a one night stay at the George hotel only to arrive to a place gone into administration and closed for business. This was bad enough, to make matters worse I tried for hours on end to get hold of Agoda on three consecutive days. I only ever got through to speak to someone once who did not return my call. On all the other occasions my call was either disconnected from Agoda's end or just rang and rang after getting through the 40 min waiting period. Booking with Agoda is terrible experience, one I shall never repeat. To put the icing on such an awful and stressful scenario, Agoda have so refused to refund my money. I will be reporting them to the regulator.
So easy to use, and to compare offers. I loved it. Can pay by paypal-great. Not only that but when I cross checked with my usual site-agoda was cheaper for my chosen hotel.

I've used Agoda more than a dozen times now. Their reviews are always accurate and the process is quick an easy. It can be difficult to find places in Asia--especially the Philippines--that accepts American Express but Agoda handles it without a problem.
Booked through them and the price dropped by 100 a night. Their guarantee is not an actual guarantee. Wait until the last minute to save your money because this site charges more the earlier you book.
Cancellation is a scam. I booked for the xmas and cancelled two weeks prior. No refunds. Don't waste your money on this. They just sending idiotic survey emails how they do blah blah blah.

My Spring Season trip (March-April) was affected by COVID-19 due to travel restriction and flight cancellation. Agoda would not want to refund the money in credit card and (Hotel allows the cancellation) but Agoda gave expiry within the same month of the hotel booking. Unable to extend the expiry of the booking. Worst company! What they expect me to do with this expiring credit in a month time with current situation. Look at them after all the evidence, and their response.

They partner with disgusting hotels then refuse to refund your money. I checked into hotel it was infested with roaches I left immediately called for refund a week later after fighting they refund on an agoda gift card. Why would anyone want a gift card for a company that they don't trust. It's a scam do not use.
I have used numerous booking websites over the past few years and they are all very much the same. What differentiates Agoda is when/if things go wrong, their staff take an interest in righting what has gone wrong. That's the difference.
Agoda is operating a scam with local hotels to profiteer off of predatory and unregulated cancellations fees. The way it works is this: the hotel tells you one thing, Agoda tells you another, they both blame each other, and you are stuck with unfair charges. Agoda provides a customer service "front" that seems to only repeat the same information over and over and is ultimately unable to help their customers. Beware using a site like this - if something goes wrong you are screwed. I am being forced to pay $625 for a reservation that I never used and that I tried to change more than 72 hours before check in. Completely unfair. Agoda will not help me.
I have been trying to get the difference in cost cost for a room I booked and they have found every made up reason to not honor their best price guarantee. Just a slimy, unethical company. I would never book with them again even if the prices are higher else where. It's just nit worth it. Furthermore they told me my booking has free breakfast but when we contacted the company they said it didn't. They SUCK!
I was looking for a last minute booking at hotel and found that agoda still has it.
Not only so, it has further discount if I book using certain card.

NOTICE! Never use this site if your life depends on it! They don't care, cannot talk with anyone, they cancel reservations especially when it is an easy clarification! They leave you in a lurch to find other accommodations at the last minute and it's ends up costing more money! Never, ever use this site!
This website is absolute trash and I would not recommend using their services. They do not have accessible customer service- if your issue does not fit what they can fix through online services, you are $#*! out of luck. They DO NOT offer help over the phone so you cannot speak to an actual human being. I tried to work around the site and called the hotel I was set up with, and while they offered me a number, it was also automated and told me I did not have the proper access information.
Overall, I am out $150, have no place to stay, and am incredibly frustrated. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Booked a room through agoda. Got to the hotel it was a dump. We walked in the room after going up the stairs that had a huge rust hole. The room stunk bedding had holes towels were gray. Was supposed to have 2 beds, had only 1. Put the key card down and got out of there. I was to angry after driving in traffic all day to talk to person who checked me in. Better to leave than have a huge blow up. Went to other side of freeway to hampton inn. Luckily they had rooms. E mailed agoda because I wanted my 71.00 dollars refunded. They asked for pictures and proof of staying elsewhere that night. I provided that immediately and still no refund. AGODA IS USELESS. But now I'll see what my credit card company can do.

The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
