Hi, I have a bad experience with Agoda.com I booked a room for one night (Saturday) in London. The arrival day's midnight, they send an email that sorry your book had cancelled, we can give you another alternative option. I answered ok, so I didn't have more options because this a last minute almost all hotels full in London as Saturday. Also they are really expensive because of weekend. During our traveling, I received a new email, with the same message. I accept the second alternative. After two hours later I received an email that they said sorry... Then offer third hotel. And later they had confirmed that the hotel accepted. So I was so happy, finally we know where we are going... We have already our final direction, seat on the bus on Saturday 12pm. Then I checked my email, I saw another email from them and said, the hotel had been cancelled due full booked. We will transfer back your money. I checked that hotel it wasn't full. Anyway we was really disappointed for their games. At 1pm afternoon on Saturday you are in London, so you can imagine? I had ever happened with me before. I booked first time by Agoda. I think last time too. Thank you Agoda.com
We purchased a hotel room through agoda during a busy time several months in advance. However, 1 month before our reservation we tried to cancel because we learned that my wife was pregnant. It would've been easy for the hotel to fill that room. Agoda said I had to contact the hotel. We contacted the hotel and they make us fill out a Hardship Request Form. Afterwards, they said we needed to book another reservation at the same hotel and through agoda before they could request that Agoda sends us a refund (what a scam). It's been over a month and we never received a refund. So we booked for 2 hotel rooms in 2 different cities on 2 different dates (the 1st date is already past) because we were told that was required and we haven't received a refund from any of them. This is a terrible company and nothing but a scam. Also, good luck trying to talk to anyone! Terrible customer service!
Bad situation and they offered no help and still fought the charge when I didn't get what was sold toe at all.

Recently booked a SHA+ Hotel in Phuket via Thai Pass recommended link which I think should comply fully Thai Government requirements. Later I found the booking confimation mention nothing about the airport transport and ART kits as required. Tried for three, four days to message AGODA, email Hotel The Nature Phuket but received no response from any of them. I may not be able to enter Phuket with the above.
They stole money from me, and they are liters, Book with priceline. They make you wait for your own money, book elsewhere with Expedia
Booked a hotel in tampa in 3/5/22-3/7/22 through Agoda website for a total of 508.00. Checked 3/5 no problems. 3/6 my husband and I woke up to frogs In the room. Call the front t desk the lady said no one is here to help me. I asked can she move us to another room she said they didn't have any available. So I contacted agoda letting them know what's going on. Representative requested I email pictures I did immediately. She said ok I have to contact the hotel. So she put me on hold I immediately went down stair. Spoke to th desk clerk she said that she can refund the money to Agoda right now. Which she did and show it to me and was nice to print it out. I looked at the receipt the rooms is only 120.00 a night. I said they charge me 508.00 she said never book through them. Remind you I'm still on hold agoda Representative came bacj on the line saying no one is answering the phone. I said I'm at the desk you haven't called. All I want is my money back she put me on hold again for 45 min. Came back saying I'm working on it. Then she came back and said we will refund you your money. I only stayed 1 night remind you the desk clerk told me the room was 120.00 they only sent me back 120 and keep the rest of my money and we had to go find another hotel after paying 508. The best day I receive an email from agoda saying for that one night I stayed they charge me 384 plus tax. I was really robbed by Agoda on my anniversaryI would have never paid 384 for 1 night at a hotels that's was only 120 a night.

This is a absolute shame of a "company" they book you the wrong dates for the wrong hotel, so that when it's "booked" they can slap on a non refundable tag on it so you are screwed! Please do NOT use agoda. Just contact the property themselves.
I reserved a heated tent on this website, and they informed me just one day before my check-in date (at the resort) that they would not be able to provide me with a heated tent. I requested a refund, but they refused and demanded that I need to provide a medical certificate if I want a complete refund.At last, they did not refund me back. They are completely useless. Please do not use this website to plan your holiday. You will just lose your money
I arrived around 10:30pm 2/4/2022, tired from a long drive. The lady at the front desk PUT me in this room. A room above the office so she knows where she put me. Maybe because it was a cheap rate, either way look at the pics! This is nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in and when I called down to her she was the rudest person you can imagine. Wyndham confirmed me getting a refund after seeing the pics. BUT AGODA IS NOT REFUNDING THE ROOM RATE. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH AGODA and definitely never stay at the DAYS INN IN ROCKY MOUNT, NC.
Asked for a Non Smoking room... didnt happen... so I asked for a voucher to maybe another hotel or a refund. Nope. Nor hotel worked with me or Agoda. So... In a room that is a smoking one currently pregnant with asthma. Have no extra funds and not from this city. CSR told me her hands were tied and couldn't help. I have a bed with stains and cigarette burns, with a smoke detector exposed of wires as someone ripped it out I suppose. What a night and I would never use Agoda if you are pregnant and have health issues.

2020 we suppose to go Germany but force to cancel due to Covid. Though we booked non refundable Agoda manage to get hotel operator to allow us to change date within 2 years with an email confirmation. However when we try to do the changes now, Agoda just simply bush it off and blame it on us ( claiming that we have canceled the booking) Agoda do not want to help at all. No more booking with Agoda!
Booked a room at a super 8 motel. 158.00 during the week. We got there and the motel was horrible. Walls with holes in them, dirt everywhere and the bathroom matt was black from who knows what. Anyway, no cancelation policy with agora. If you are selling a product, in this case a motel room, you should stand behind it. They got me this time but never again.
I had booked a 3 night stay at the intercontinental hotel in Tahiti and after booking went to booking.com and noticed the same type room with breakfast for about $250 less. I was unable to cancel the reservation within an hour of making it and was not given the price difference because they claimed to not be able to as I had changed my email address which is still not corrected several days later. I would advise not using them instead use booking.com!
Don't trust Agoda, they canceled my booking at the last day when I was in the plane. Don't recommend at all!
We checked this site prior to booking, all seemed fine. Booked our vacation stay. Hotel description said double occupancy, ocean view, showed all amenities- microwave, kitchenette, etc. (I triple checked, as we required a kitchenette)
After a phone call to the hotel with other questions we learn out room is just a double room, they could not make changes as through a 3rd party. After calling AGODA we can change our room for more $$. A complete new fee. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY

We since have enquired about our refund due to cancellation a month ago and till today we have not been compensated our money. We were taken from pillar to post and our bank is saying there was no refund into the account we used to pay.
After I booked a Maine hotel for 4 nights with a price $30 less than Priceline had, I checked the reviews of Agoda. They were awful! Oh no! But it helped that I have booked this hotel many times previously for a very good price through Priceline so I knew they offered second party sites at a low price. I then double checked through the hotel's brand to make sure the booking was legit. It was, I was happy, it's worth a try!
I booked a "Drury Inn & Suites Houston Galleria hotel" stay. When I paid I saw the wrong date. After 1 minute I contacted AGODA service. AGODA refused to change the date or refund the money. I dont anderstand whay. I think it is the laziness. I lost over a hundred dollars. I will never order anything from the AGODA.

Very bad experience with agoda In my trip I did two reservations in different hotels and I recieved conformation from agoda but the hotel they don't have this reservation and they said call agoda then I spend more than 4 hours with agoda customer service and the employee was unprofessional and promised me to relocate the reservation but finally they said sorry and they gave me one option they cancelled the reservation and I will refund the money after 30 days.

The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
