When you order the product it states in the billing section that your bill is for 1.95. After paying it then states that your card has been charged 99 dollars. Which you can get back after a mail in rebate on another months supply. So therefore it is false leading, yes you get your first months free after you pay for the next month; so no free trial.
It is a scam; they just want your money. The products do not work. The terms and conditions are found in as a link and not easy to identify. I lost $283 to these jerks. When I called to complain, they are foreigners who are difficult to understand and were not at all helpful!
Beware! This website is the closest to a legal scam I have come across. Once you are deceived into trying their free trial they charge to your card an unbelievable amount in which most of is not refundable. I am out almost $125.00 just for being deceived into trying their free trial (Acai Berry weight loss Supplements). The shipping cost was suppose to be $1.49. I still am in awe over the whole thing. This type of website is a horrible example of good online business. These are the kinds of websites that destroy your faith in online shopping. After reading online reveiws of the Acai Berry Supplements I have realized this is not the only website that has figured out a way to legally scam the public. Do your research before buying anything online.
FREE TRIAL IS A SCAM! Don't get suckered into this. They hook you in with the free trial and if you do not remember to cancel before 14 days they bill you $79 bucks. It takes 14 days just to get the pills and what is the free trial about? How the pills taste? 14 days of acai pills will do nothing for you.
Answer: Hmm, interesting thoughts here, Terence. I know that the FBI has a certain sector for internet scams and frauds, but I don't know entirely if it is also based outside of the United States and if there's a universal one. =/ I know that you have to have a lot of trust on the internet and certain standards are the norm, like ebay having seller/buyer ratings or having secured badges on your website, but not all of them are failproof. It's up to the individual person.
