ABC Fine Wine & Spirits

1930 Thomasville Rd store in Tallahassee, Stay away. Extremely poor customer service, rude! I will never enter again. My 19 year old grandson went in with me and I chose 4 bottles to purchase ( about $90 worth) and walked up to check out. Was told they would not sell to me because he was with me. I He went back out to the car to wait and I tried to pay again and was told since they knew he was with me I could not purchase. Called and spoke to manager and got the same treatment.The manager told me I broke the rule when I brought him in with me( it was 102 degrees hot outside) I said I was understanding and apologized and sent him back out, but to still refuse because they had seen him. As I shopped several other employees came up and helped me find what I wanted... total BS Never again ABC you are not the only store in Tallahassee, Market Square Liquors is the way to go Tell your friends!

Horrible customer service@ the Ormond Beachside location of ABC. Rude clerk behind the counter. Lots of choices to purchase and better prices and service. I will not be back.

The manager Norman and helper Luke were unpacking boxes and there were a lot of boxes empty. I asked for a few boxes. The manager refused and said we don't give boxes away. I remarked that a friend was given boxes awhile back and they do throw them in the dumpster out back. He said they didn't which is an un truth. Luke said I could have a few boxes and was giving them to me. I said you could make it easier for your customers and Luke smirked and said "now you can't have the boxes"! This was nasty, unprofessional and ill advised. I am 79 years old and my husband is. Disabled Vietnam vet. In no way was I offensive. They were giving me a hard time unnecessarily and acting like children. I asked for their names Luke pointed to his badge and Norman gave me his name and asked if he needed to write it down. So he added sarcasm to the fray. I left without the boxes. The manager seemed to be taking his cue from the helper! I told them I will never shop in abc and will pass this ridiculous, unsettling experience on to my friends. They didn't seem to care! Of course Of course I left without my purchase and without my boxes. I consider this abuse of the elderly!

While shopping for wine mostly and chocolate flavored alcohol as a possible selection, I was harassed by a takia, I guess that's how you pronounce her name who stood and watched me while shopping and then harassed me while shopping and followed me overtly around the store. I had an issue with this employee before even while making a purchase and inquiring about a second purchase at the register but on this time she felt the need to call the police on me. While shopping she took my shopping cart from me, which was also aiding me and balancing since I'm semi paralyzed on the right side then she began to make fun of how I walk. She asked if I needed help in her walking me out of the store since I have trouble with balance and walk funny, Yes, this is how she spoke to me! I felt besides her harassment, this was exceptionally unprofessional on her part. Since I had done nothing wrong. I waited while she called the police on me. She took more time in describing me then actually giving a reason for why she was having them come to take me away. When the police arrived, I spoke to them politely, gave them my name and partial birthday as well. I then went on the tell them if I was doing something so wrong why would I bother to wait for them to get here. They were polite to me as I was to them and I went on my way. I've gone to this store for over 6 years, and the previous staff from about 5 or 6 years ago was quite friendly toward me unlike this staff & employee.

This was the 2nd time I was treated rudely and will be taking my business elsewhere. The store was on US1 Ormond Beach Fl

ABC used to offer 10% discount for purchase of 6 or more items; no more. This perk set them apart from their competition. Customer (NO) Service cavalierly explains that management makes the decisions and then criticizes me for disputing their management decision.
ABC has yet to competently explain the purpose or usefulness of their internet website, as it now offers NO advantage over retail shopping at an ABC store.
