AA Motorcycle Shipping

My overall experience with 1aamotorcycles.com was very good. Customer service was very helpful in explaining the cost and the transporting process. My bike was picked up in CA at its estimated date and delivered to me in MD at its estimated date and we were able to track the bike during its transportation.
The transporting office in MD called me a couple of days in advance to let me know exactly when the bike was going to be delivered and they were very polite and professional. They had the transporter give me a courtesy call to let me know when they'd be at my house and they came on time and had the bike ready and waiting for me in my garage before they even rang my doorbell. The delivery man was very pleasant and needless to say, the bike arrived safe and sound! The people we bought the motorcycle from recommended AA Motorcycle and we're glad they did. We were very pleased with their service!

Excellent customer service - I called with a couple of questions and a real person answered and helped me right away.

It was extremely easy to ask for a quote and make the shipping order, within 48hrs I had my confirmation call for time and date of pick-up. During pick-up, drivers were on time and the loading was efficient and effortless for me.

Delivery was also very efficient and easy, the drivers called 40min beforehand and delivered on time with no problems at all.

The only complaint I have is the motorcycle sat in the destination city for a full 24 hours...I was never called. The ability to track the shipment is cool, but it can drive you crazy if the item has arrived in your city and you receive no communication. I called to find out when it would be delivered, as I paid for residential delivery and was told it couldn't be done until the next day. With that, it would have been delivered in the allotted time; however, I was not going to be home the next day and no concessions were made to accommodate the schedule. Also, I was told the drivers went home at 3pm. I was, however, able to go to the shipping facility and pick up the motorcycle.

I had never shipped a motorcycle before and was a bit aprehensive about the long trip from California to Connecticut the bike would take. The shipper was very highly recommended by a friend who had shipped a bike with them in the past. In retrospect, I had nothing to worry about. 1aamotorcycles.com was absolutely great to work with. They did everything they said they would and more: They guided me through the various choices and helped me select the best option to ship my bike. The bike actually arrived ahead of schedule in perfect condition.

Absolutely horrible communication. The only time I was contacted for this entire service after placing the order was when the delivery was 7 miles away despite requesting a minimum hour notice. I waited 4 days with the bike an hour away without a call for scheduling delivery and had to make 2 calls to get it scheduled as no one returned my call regarding the voicemail I had left specifically requesting to be called. The bike was an hour away for a total of 8 days before delivery. On top of that, they put the person they picked up the bike from as the person who placed the order. 1AAMotorcycles may not have handled the local delivery, but I didn't pay a local shipper, I paid 1AAMotorcycles. Not a lot of confidence from this operation.

I don't really have a problem with 1AA themselves but the shipper that they contracted out to I don't think had much common sense. Due to circumstances I had to leave my bike at a local dealer for pick up (since they only pick up Monday to Friday 9-5 which is the time most of us are at work), I left the dealers number as the primary contact and my cell phone number as a secondary. The shipper (again not 1AA) called the dealer, asked for me and when they were told I didn't work there they thought well thats that, best not to ask any the information nor to call the secondary number as I never received a call or message. The bike was supposed to be picked up between July 10-13, after several calls back and forth with the honestly pretty great customer service here at 1AA it was finally picked up on the 26th. From that point on the shipping went smooth and I have no complaints.

I contacted 1aamotorcycle to transport my wife's new Harley from North Carolina to Connecticut and was hoping I had made the right choice. I did. From the customer service rep Julia to the drivers that delivered the bike I was very pleased with their assistance and courteousness! I was happy to see that you could track the progress and also I was called in a timely manner for the delivery of the bike! Overall this was a very painless and easy transport and I would highly recommend this company!

1aamotorcyle shipping was awesome. I had my load scheduled through haul bikes.com. What a joke, stay away unreliable and don't honor their word. Day before I flew across country to gather and load my **** classic bike I called haul bikes to confirm pick up date they promised was still a go. Haul bikes stated they were now 2 weeks away. There went $*** in plane tickets. I called 1aamotorcycle and in three days they were there. The driver was the best. He took great care during loading and securing. Driver kept in constant contact and even gave me his cell phone number so I could contact him if wanted/ needed. Best shipping experience ever. I will use no other company. Said what they could do and did what they promised, no hidden fees at unload. There are some real crooks in the transport business, 1aa motorcycle is not one of those. I will never trust another company with my valued items. If it wasn't clear, trust no other!
