1-800-PetMeds

My cat has bad flea allergies and has had shots and pills to help her. I recently moved so I was not near her regular vet anymore so I called them up and asked if they would write her a prescription since they saw her for the same issue many times. I told them I would get it filled at 800 pet meds since I was not close by anymore. So I got the message that the vet would fill that prescription this one time. They said if I came into the office and got the medicine from them it would be $8 if I called for a prescription to be sent by an online pet prescription company and it would be free. So I place an order with 1-800 pet meds and all is well. Gave them the information of my vet to contact. I figured it would be taken care of quickly. Two days ago by and I'm thinking well maybe it was mailed I wonder when it will get here. So I contact my vet to find out if pet meds contacted them and if it was authorized to be on the way. The vet'ss office now tells me to write a prescription for 800 petmeds it will be 8 dollars. So I gave them their 8 dollars. They said they would send the authorization to have it filled. I hear from the vet's office later and their fax machine and printer and copy machine were all having issues. So they said they would take a picture of the prescription and email it to me and then I can email it to 800 pet meds. I did so 1-800-petmeds said thank you for your email now mail us the hard copy I will send it out. They still would not send out the prescription without me sending them an original through the US mail which would take more time for my cat to get her pills. Then they sent me an email asking me if I still wanted the prescription! I asked them why they would want a copy of a copy. It's clear than my vet authorized for these pills to be sent. I just wanted an explanation about their policy it seems antiquated to snail mail something these days. All I got was an email back with your order was canceled thank you have a nice day. So I need to find a new place to get my cat her prednisolone.
