Hi Haywood, my husband started going somewhat bald in his late 20's. However, I thought he was sexy then, and he is still sexy now at age 69, with very little hair left! A lot of men who have hair shave it off to get this really cool sexy bald head. It's not hair that matters, it's the overall "look and attitude" of a man that counts! I wouldn't want my husband any other way! If a date focuses on hair as his or her main criteria, that's a shallow person who no one should get involved with. That type of person will also be focused on any unimportant changes in appearance. My humble opinion!

You are correct on look and attitude!

Also, I must add that Christina is a really top notch informed person, so I read the Cosmopolitan article she referred to. I'm sure you noticed that the more Androgen a man has, the more hair he might lose. Androgens are male hormones, like testosterone. I assume you know what testosterone is known for- a good, vital sex life, for one, masculine strength, etc. My point is: Does someone want a man with healthy male hormones, but who may have early baldness or does one want a wimp with a lot of hair? It's all up to each of our preferences!

I'd wish I could but I am having the same issues. You need to see a dermatologist to figure out what the issue may be.

Good nutrition to start. Look up foods that are good for hair health and incorporate a lot of them into your diet. Healthy fats are always good!

And just be very gentle with your hair in general. I once read an article that said to treat your hair as though it were spun from gold! Sounds kind of silly but it's actually good advice. I had very damaged hair and was losing more than the normal amount every time I washed it or brushed it. I started going all natural and not using any heat damage on it and doing small things that made a huge difference. It didn't happen overnight but I am definitely noticing healthier hair and way less hair is falling out when I brush it or wash it.

Google curly girl method. If you have not heard of this before, it's an all natural hair care routine that helps you get your hair back to its healthy, natural state. One of the biggest differences for me has been brushing and washing my hair significantly less. If you are someone who rushes and wash your hair a lot this can be very difficult to get used to but there are little things you can do to compensate for not brushing and washing as much. I almost never use a hairbrush on my hair. Instead I will do a really good conditioner like shea moisture in the shower and gently run my fingers through it while it's soaked in the conditioner to detangle it. I also started using natural oils that coconut oil and putting a massive amount of conditioner in my hair and I lot of leave-in conditioner. The coconut oil and the leave-in conditioner has made one of the biggest differences in my hair.
And just be mindful of the products you put in your hair. If you follow the curly girl method it will tell you to only use all natural products. Certain conditioners have silicones in them that coat your hair and blocks it from getting any real moisture in.

Hope some of this helps!

Why are you feeling sad?

Acceptance H! I started going bald at 19 and it finished by the time I was 23. It was very difficult at first, especially at that age. It may help to seek counselling. If that is not for you then try to look at the positives.
1. We are the next link in the chain of evolution. Man has slowly been losing it's hair since neanderthal times...(LOL)
2. Male pattern baldness just means you're more man than most men and you have a high testosterone levels. (One of the reasons for and the one I choose to believe)
3. Less work on your appearance.
4. No money spent on hair products.
5. No money spent on Barbers.
6. For God's sake do not buy a wig, everyone knows it's a fricking wig. Look at Trump... LOL
7. If it still bothers you, get hair plugs. But make sure you get them done by someone reputable. I have seen some bad jobs. But I have seen some amazing results. It is expensive though.

Good luck with it. It isn't that bad, honestly. Although it is a shock and disconcerting at first.
