Question:

So taylor, even though i was 1 day late in canceling the service (that i never used), you agree with the fact that they should be able to keep my 99 dollars? they refuse to give me a refund even though i never used the service, never signed into the account, and never downloaded any of the software that was associated with the account?! that is justifiable to you because i didnt read the fine print?! sounds like you work for them!!

Answer:

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do. Think twice before giving your credit card info to anyone.

Question:

So i signed up on this bullsh*t website because they advertised a book that i needed for my thesis. i subscribed to their free 14-day trial only to find out that they don't have the book, i searched for books by entering keywords into the search bar and nothing came up. i was in a hurry so i gave up trying and forgot about it. i only contacted them 6 days after the trial ended and they couldn't take money from my account because i didn't have 100 eur in my bank account by that time so i was relieved. i got he confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled. today i got a letter from them that they tried several times to contact me via e-mail about my payment that i owe them but i did not respond so now they have no choice but threaten me with legal actions if i don't pay 112 eur. do you guys think they will go through with their threats and if they do, what is the chance of them winning/losing the case? i did not download anything and i certainly did not get the service i was promised.

Answer:

I didn't ever use this service, I just ignor their threats, it seems everyone all over the net is posting about these threats, no one has been taken to court and it seems the letters stop after 18 months, however that's just what I've read. As for me, I'm more than happy to meet them in court, yet, I highly doubt they will attempt legal action! Their harresment for money and threats are not acceptable, and is dubiously illegal. If u want the letters to stop I'd tell them that they r to cease all communication with you and warn them that, if they choose to ignore this request and send you 1 more letter then under uk law this is harresment and you will press charges formaly (That's what the police told me to do)

Question:

How do i cancel the trial? no links showing?

Answer:

As others have posted, this is a total scam. The service they provide is completely useless, and they make it impossible to cancel. I tried calling, emailing, and using their online form and have had no luck. Basically, if you are still in your 14-day trial period, go to your bank NOW and get a new card number. Tell the bank your situation and they will do it right away. If they have charged you, still go to your bank and see if they can do something about the fraudulent charge. Basically, go to your bank and dont even try to cancel using their services because they wont let you.
