Uggsonsaler
Questions & Answers

Did you pay with paypal? A credit card? Your debit card? If you paid with paypal, contact customer service (customer service number in the U. S is 1-888-215-5506) and tell them that you were scammed, and that you want to reverse your payment on that purchase immediately. They probably have a record of complaints on that "merchant"... so they should reverse it automatically (which makes me wonder why they would even let that site have a paypal account in the first place?!) If you paid by debit or credit card, call your bank or credit card company, explain the situation, and ask what they can do. I'm not sure how banks and credit companies deal with this type of thing (I had paid for my order through paypal). I DO know that contacting the UggsonSaler people will not do anything (so don't waste your time on that). Just get in touch with paypal, your bank, or credit card company ASAP to see if they can reverse the charge.

I too got ripped off by these fake Ugg-selling A-holes... but in my case, PayPal saved the day. I spoke to someone personally at PayPal (customer service number in the U. S is 1-888-215-5506)... I'd recommend speaking to someone personally before opening a dispute online, as an online dispute can be tricky. Here's why... PayPal will only get you your money back if your items weren't received. So, for example, if you placed an order with Uggsaler.com, and you were actually sent something in the mail (e.g. Fake uggs), then PayPal can't help you out. It's when you receive nothing from the "merchant" that PayPal will step in and get you your money back. The tricky thing about opening a dispute online is that the online dispute center has you specify why you need to open your dispute. It gives you choices to "check"... and if you happen to check a reason that PayPal doesn't deal with, you're automatically disabled from continuing your dispute claim. This is what happened to me, and it was a HUGE pain. SO... That's why it's better to call customer service and talk to a human. This is what happened when I called... I told them everything that happened, and they explained their dispute policy to me again (exactly what I just explained above... that PayPal won't refund you if you received something "fake" or something that was "not as described" when you bought it. The customer service rep told me that one thing I could do was to refuse the package if it arrived. By refusing the package (whether that means not signing for it, or sending it back with your postman), the package is technically not in your possession. The rep told me that after a certain amount of time has passed since placing your order (and with no package in your posession), PayPal can get you a refund. So based on PayPal's advice, I decided I'd go for it. But lo and behold, I had a refund within 24 hours. My guess is that so many people were complaining to PayPal about these effers (it was around Christmas, and I'm sure a lot of people were buying from these scammers), that PayPal stepped in and gave refunds. I don't know if the situation would be the same with credit card companies or banks. But I can say I did get a full refund through PayPal! :)

I contacted my credit card company. Instead of shipping overseas the credit card company told me to ship them to pay pal returns. Don't bother with paypal they will not help in this matter.

Has anyone been successful in getting a refund. I, too, was fooled by the website and the boots are knock-offs and I am trying to get a refund to my pay pal account. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mary

I received two pair of Ugg's. It took a little longer than the estimated time, but they are great! I got the classic tall ugg's for my daughter and the knit cardy style for myself... they came in original packaging (ugg boot box) I was a itttle nervous about how the payment went down at first, but I sent an email to the address provided and they responded within 24hours... so they didn't quite make it for xmas but they were worth the wait.

So many fake sites are being advertised for Ugg boots and 1000s of peolpe are ripped off- me included.
Something should be done to stop search engines displaying them. Maybe it is time they were held responsible
For what is put on the webpages.
